I think NSW biggest problem has always been getting ahead of itself, before games and during. I hope Freddy hasn’t thought about creating a dynasty or legacy and he’s just taking it one game at a time.

I think he was used poorly. The Knights showed if you give him a season at one position (for the most part) he’ll do well.

I thought he deserved a spot in the squad at least, with my Newcastle hat on I thought he might’ve come in at 5/8 and pushed Munster to fullback as he played so well there a few years ago. Big faith shown in AJ Brimson. Mann is versatile to a fault, with the inexperience in the outside backs he could have been a big asset to the Maroons.

I reckon Will Hopoate might be unlucky to miss out here, career wise maybe not as accomplished as the others but his one origin game was fire.

Definitely an interesting proposition. The speed of Ramsay, Roberts, Dufty and Lomax might even make Ben Hunt look a little better with a few try assists. I think if Griffin can get them fit and firing on defence their attack would take care of itself.
I also think it’s the kind of signing the dragons might make – a potentially bad one. The off field stuff is a huge risk, but I actually think he can turn himself around. Fans should get behind players like this not shit on them.

I’d love to see D Rose get a ring, but I think Rondo worked so well in that team this year why change it? Rondo and Lebrons basketball iq in the same team is clearly dangerous, and playoff Rondo’s a different beast.

I think Souths might have a bit more talent than you’re giving them credit for, or maybe it’s easy to focus on the talent on the sideline (Latrell, Jimmy Roberts)
But they’ve still got a great team, I think a prelim isn’t over or underachieving it’s pretty much on the money. I think not going further than a prelim next year would be an underachievement.
