I reckon it depends which part of the sanctions you want to use. Easily argued that the action brings the game into disrepute, unsportsmanlike conduct etc.

It wasn’t a Darcy Swain head push motion (sanction justified), it was a high energy shot to cause maximum damage. If it had contacted Mafi as intended, he would have lost most of his front teeth.

We drive an hour each way now, and have to be mindful of what AFL/netball games might be on at the same time (with my 7 yo gal). AAMI is good for watching, but parking/transport can be a beeyotch.
Rebs are in survival mode, so anything is better than capitulation. There’s no AFL team nearby either, which is a bit helpful too…
