Assuming there’s about 1 person who watches/supports rugby for every current player/partcipant, the survey would represent less than a 0.035% sample.
There’s not really any numbers to dive into.

Classic case of why you should never bring a knife to a gun fight!

Sorry Blik, can’t agree.
So the survey represents who? The average rugby player? The average disgruntled administrator? What?
We might all agree with the statements, but we’re in our own little Roar echo chamber here.
How can you propose a solution if you can’t quantify the problem? Results that agree with our pre-existing views is just confirmation bias.
Would be better to either do the survey properly, or just state that this is my opinion, and that of a tiny minority of the rugby community.

Yep. At least let us finish our wake…

Being a business owner myself, if I didn’t receive financial statements from my business partner for 1 year, there would be an issue. Let alone 5.
Atrocious governance.

Agree, whataboutism isn’t much help here. Especially when it’s inaccurate.

Sorry, can’t agree with this entirely.
RA is meant to provide oversight of the franchises. This sort of tax obligation wasn’t accrued in one season, I’d guess at least 3-4 seasons.
Pretty sure RA can read a balance sheet. Surely they review the financial statements of the franchises annually.
The MR team is culpable for the bulk of the problems, however I am pretty certain RA would have known of their negotiations with the ATO.
Nobody comes out of this without culpability, including me as a supporter. I could probably have done more…
Paul Keating said it well – in the race of life, always back the horse called self-interest!
It all just sucks TBH

If he blamed Eddie, not sure he’d be wrong though mate 👍
Why Schmidt isn't sweating about Wallabies star's cross-code temptation
“At the Blues-Reds game as a neutral” 😂

To be fair, I think we’ve been spending money we don’t have for a lot longer than Hamish’s reign.
Declining SRP crowds = declining interest = lower gate takings and tv deals. This has been our reality for a while, regardless of who has been at the top.
Not a fan of the NRL bidding competition, but I see it as a hail Mary move. A problem we se to have on, and off, the pitch.

Don’t get him started on Hanigan 😛
