Interesting to see if Mr. Swift gets hurt early in the game, Mahomes doesnt seem to trust anyone else with the ball.

How the San Francisco 49ers have struck gold en route to the Super Bowl

I have had the same experience. I think sometimes, and i know for myself this is true, knowing that someone is willing to listen without judgement can be quite comforting. Hearing other people’s problems has often helped with my own because I think hey damn I have had that same issue, its not just me suffering with that. The overwhelming sense of being alone is what leads to so many deaths and if we can all make at least one person realise that they are not alone then we are one step closer to eliminating this tragedy of suicide.

NRL needs more than a 'mental health round' - systemic change required to prevent tragedies

Well said Choppy, too often we accept an answer that is clearly not true rather than finding out how people really feel.

NRL needs more than a 'mental health round' - systemic change required to prevent tragedies

Sadly there is no simple answer to this. As individuals it is about being more caring and aware of the people around us, which is not always easy when we are all dealing with our own struggles on a daily basis. As a society it would be a good start if people were not marginalised, and i dont just mean the standard prejudcies around race, gender etc. People who are struggling mentally or emotionally are generally treated as if they had a disease, worse because people with diseases receive sympathy, those who could be helped just with a little kindness and empathy are often ignored until it is too late.

I think your article raises several good points. The only thing i wish to disagree with is that personally I do think Willie Rioli is a drug cheat and did not celebrate his return to the sport. I would like to see consistency in the media with regard to people who cheat, drugs or otherwise, and claims of harrassment taken seriously whether the claimant be male or female.

Shayna Jack, Madeleine Groves, Lisa De Vanna and Rhali Dobson: Why Australian sport is failing young women

Whilst i do not agree with your thoughts on my comment, i do agree with you that i do not want to hear about poor Latrell’s mental issues because of this incident. I would prefer to see lengthy suspensions handed out on a more regular basis to finally get it through that this sort of behaviour no longer has a place in football.

Hit for six: Latrell done for season as verdict lands

I think Andy wrote a great article, fair and balanced and correct in pretty much every way. The only problem here is that expecting Latrell Mitchell to show personal leadership or growth by means of an apology seems…well insincere to me. If he had not hit Manu with his shoulder the swinging arm would have taken his head off, so what is the point in pretending to care about his welfare when he clearly set out to cause harm. I do not believe if the situation were reversed an Easts player would sincerely apologise for the same action, so it is easier to me just to skip the words, take his punishment and start working on how not to lose his temper and cost his team with his antics. I find his behaviour very similar to Toby Greene in the AFL, what good is talent if you are constantly off the field because of your ill-discipline.

Hit for six: Latrell done for season as verdict lands

Sorry mate, whilst i agree Latrell needed a lengthy suspension and needs to change his approach in games, i think asking or expecting him to apologise to Manu when you have Victor ‘highshot’ Radley and JWH (dogshot) in the Roosters is a bit far fetched.

Hit for six: Latrell done for season as verdict lands

Said by a player on his last chance in the AFL. Totally agree with you, what an ideal character reference.

'If Greene's suspended we riot' or 'three weeks minimum': AFL split over Toby ban

Actually i thought Neale should have been suspended. Whilst your argument for treatment on its merits is a fair one, i think it is also prudent to look at each player on their merits. Greene has only just come back from suspension for a charge which i think he was lucky to have downgraded, the fact that he has committed yet another unsociable act, in a season that he has committed several, i think he needs to be rubbed out for the rest of the season.

'If Greene's suspended we riot' or 'three weeks minimum': AFL split over Toby ban

While a point system has its merits, time and again it has proven to be flawed. How many times have we seen a team brutalised by 100 points in the AFL and yet somehow one of their players manages to get a point. How many times in the NRL have we seen a 40 point to zero thrashing and yet somehow someone on the losing team gets a point. Both systems have a bias, so regardless of what system is used i think there will always be controversy and discussion around the result.

The mind-blowing reason Giannis Antetokounmpo won’t win MVP

Probably still using that flood tax money they scammed out of all of us and didnt spend on actual flood repair damage.

BREAKING: Origin 3's new home locked in as Newcastle ruled out

Arrogance and ignorance? You do not know me, making such sweeping generalisations is what you are allegedly complaining about.

It's time for Port Adelaide to break out the prison bars again

They probably do, but I am not a PAFC fan. I am from Sydney and i follow the Swans so i will stand by my comments aimed at Collingwood for obvious reasons.

It's time for Port Adelaide to break out the prison bars again

I think i agree with them. Is probably time Collingwood changed their jerseys to something more appropriate, all white with a pointy hood.

It's time for Port Adelaide to break out the prison bars again

I agree with this. I have seen other players use the tactic against Djocovich to great success. When things started going south i dont know why Barty didnt start clutching her hamstring and limping a bit, buy herself some time to compose herself. After all if the rules are there to be exploited….

It's time for tennis to call timeout on medical breaks

If we had spun the ball like this on day 5 in brisbane we would have won the series against the Indians.

Review details Collingwood systemic racism

Anywhere but QLD, i do not see why they should receive a reward for the way in which their premier has behaved. Banning our crowds, forcing teams during finals to only be allowed to arrive the day of the game so they could not train or acclimatize. Time to teach them a lesson.

Return of mid-year Origin, Magic Round and regional games all confirmed in NRL 2021 draw

With al due respect to Hinkley, who I think had a wonderful year, for this scenario Hardwick is the better choice. Crunch time matters, and Hinkley himself admitted coaching errors in the finals that led to his team’s elimination.

Season 2020 AFL combined team: Top nine vs bottom nine

I totally agree with that last part. When you look at the back half of the Roosters season it went downhill from the moment SBW was signed. They started dropping players who had been doing well for a guy who, well frankly fell well below expecation with his stamina and impact on the game. Whilst most teams were shoring up their combinations for finals the Chooks seemed to be experimenting, trying to fit SBW into the team. In the end I think it virtually ended their season.

My takeaways from State of Origin 2020

Maybe, maybe not. However, a lot of the conversation that was around last year involved a succession plan, too bad old man Smith and his giant ass ego refuses to be part of a team. If he had known Smith had no intentions of budging he may not have signed with the Storm at all in the first place.

My takeaways from State of Origin 2020

I think that is the point though, nobody should be doing it. It is time to start sending people off and handing out suspensions, one day someone is going to be seriously hurt.

Jai Arrow: "I'm not a grubby player"

Yea, reading it back is not quite what i meant. I couldnt care less who commentates the game, frankly most of the commentators annoy the hell out of me so i usually watch the game on mute. I do not wish anybody harm, and meant no offense. If i had to express a real concern is that the attitude of certain premiers in this country is getting out of hand, it is one thing to close ones borders, it is another to be spiteful about it, we only need to look at the US to see what can happen with this sort of thing gets out of hand.

Suncorp at full capacity for Origin 3

You know if you have another bad fire season up there, be a shame when we arent able to send anyone up there to stop you all burning to death…oh well.

Suncorp at full capacity for Origin 3

True, he had a bad year this year, but as was pointed out in the article…what if when Dusty ran into problems Richmond had given up on him the way that the cold pies have given up on Stephenson…hopefully this will come back and bite them in the ass.
