Not only is it absurd, but it appears to be a blatant attempt by Hamish Bidwell—the latest addition to the Roar.com.au experts team hailing from New Zealand—to “rehabilitate” SBW, -Jack of all trades, master of none-. This comes after the NRL condemned Sonny Bill Williams for his controversial remarks on the war in Gaza and his alleged incitement of hatred with a ‘cowards’ post on X. Just last week, SBW shared a post by the ‘influencer’ Andrew Tate, who is known for his misogynistic views and is currently facing criminal charges in both Romania and the UK. Williams shared a tweet from Tate following an attack on a Sydney bishop. So, here we go again. While everyone is entitled to their cultural beliefs and free expression on social media, it’s rather painful to endure the sight of his face on public television.

Despite Rennie announced “a review into crippling injury toll” No serious review was conducted on such repetitive injuries happening the previous year to the RWC: Cooper, Kerevi, Ikitau,& Tupou never completely recovered. And for the “preferential treatment” insulting E Jones -as usual coming from kiwi sources- similar to the treatment Cheika received dubbed “clown” and the rest.
RA is missing the point, McKellar or Larkham were the right choice to fit into the new normal in world rugby. Or -if an outsider was preferred – O’Gara would have been a must. Forget the old – Schmid, Foster, Cheika, White – and get on with the new, young generations of coaches.

Again, “Nothing changes if nothing changes” The one sided view of this appointment has long been pursued by the “aussie’ rugby press – funnily driven by kiwi journos – and the black shoe brigade -trolling and patrolling every rugby forum – . They were pushing the agenda months before the RWC. At the same time of publishing the Jones Japangate, hours before WBs game they were also polling the next potential candidate to the post. Guess who was on No. 1?
The appointment of Sleepy Joe is the “bring back Rennie 2.0 revival’. It won’t generate any public interest on the game other than the current geriatric crew wearing silly yellow hats.
