Aboriginal Flag has to be shown on the basis of inclusivity mate. The Union Jack on our flag is not recognised by First Nation and gif knows that flag is everywhere.

New NRL ad is 'simply the best'

Look IAP you are tapping into one of the most complex arguments facing our generation today abd you are trying to brush it off in one sentence.. repeatedly I might add.
Quite obviously there is a lot more to “them” than you can possibly be aware of. Nobody even expects you to understand, you just need to step back and get out of the way bro.

New NRL ad is 'simply the best'

Thought the ad was awesome! I can’t even watch Paul Kent anymore to be honest… he is morphing into that shock jock radio idiot in front of our very eyes.. Kyle sanders I think?
Latrell draped in the flag out at Saltwater on Biripi country was bang on point with the little fellas playing footy in the surf keeping it real!!
Stefanovic is also a drongo who needs to lay off the party pills and keep his privileged stance where it belongs.. in the morning talking rubbish to the elderly generation from a time we are all trying really hard to forget the bad stuff.

Mine for 2020
Adam Reynolds 3
Cameron Murray 2
Damian Cook 1

Dirty Ten I fear the most in 2020:
1. Wade Graham 10
2. James Tedesco 9
3. Taumalolo 8
4 Josh Papalli 7
5. Munster 6
6 Keary 5
7 Cherry Evans 4
8 Nathan Cleary 3
9. Moses 2
10 Milf 1

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 30-21

However it may be interesting if we get each member to nominate the 3 most important players in the club they support, in order Dally M style?
Then everyone could nominate ten opponent players they feel jeopardise their chances of winning the most when playing against I.e players we hate playing against Wade Graham, Tedesco, Cherry Evans etc.. rank them again in Dally M points.
I reckon you would have a pretty bang on result?

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 30-21

I may be pretty mate but I ain’t stupid!

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 30-21

It’s because he is surrounded by the shadow of nepotism which as a culture we really don’t like.
Fittler should never have picked him for origin and then he should never have stuck with him mate.. his club form was extremely poor, his origin form has always been neutral at best yet he keeps getting a sky blue.
Painfully obvious Fittler is picking him based on relationships which is a rep selection criteria that isn’t acceptable.
I don’t mind giving a young fella a go and blood him early but don’t knock others on the head after one bad game and keep the kid there.
Not young mans fault but until he really truly steps up the shadow will always be there.

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 30-21

Brother Baz I’m sorry mate but I reckon there’s a few howlers.. in saying that isn’t it aha Ing how different perceptions are between individuals?
Most important players right? So how is Tupou (a winger) and Manu (2nd string centre) anywhere near the top 50. And how are they above Cleary & Reynolds.. obviously everyone does this and every list is different but I just can’t fathom those two in particular mate. Roosters could put any young fella on the wing and be outcome neutral I reckon.

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 30-21

I mean we are one of the absolute top teams in the comp this decade and if he is our most important then maybe some quiet reflection on this is required by the panel. We accept late changes in the face of logic 😂

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 40-31

I guess I’m looking at this like who is going to make the biggest contribution to winning or losing as my definition of “most important”. I may also be guilty of looking at most important player in each club as to make up the top 16 players.
In my opinion as a Souths tragic and dare I say Souths expert, Adam Reynolds is our most important player in 2020 and probably has been for the last 4 years, as far as difference between winning and losing is concerned.
Whenever he picks up an injury my heart sinks… I don’t think we can win a comp or even be a challenger without him. Guys like Cooky, Cody, Latrell, Murray, Jet (Omg what a team right!) can make huge plays and create winning chances but for 80 minutes Adam is the maestro that makes everything work.
Top 15 for mine, can’t think of too many more important players at club level which I assume is the determination for this list?

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 40-31

Well if the shoe fits Baz! Only coach worse than those two is Cartwright & Daley..and I guess Fittler needs a mention in there as well.

The Roar’s 2020 NRL preview series: Middle of the road

Bet you wish you had Tigers higher up now mate! They actually looked quite settled with a decent pack and some serious strike on the edges. I reckon they have more point differentials in them than both Panthers and Dragons

Coach can’t coach and his kid is the on field coach… hmmmm

The Roar’s 2020 NRL preview series: Middle of the road

Bunnies game plan that way too, tire em out and then unleash Ali style.
As effective as we were Dragons fans should be worried. Massive fan of Isaac Luke (definitely not of Stephen Kearney) but when he is your best defensive and attacking player in a trial you know there are a few deficiencies in there. How good is he though! Great pickup and look forward to bringing him back home next year to the burrow!

And right on cue the old boys sombrero club chime in.
Freddy Fittler criticising Knights CEO for addressing gross misinformation around contract talks with Ponga.
Fittler “ The best thing that I ever see in clubs is nothing coming out of the club.
“I don’t really hear the Roosters come out with that much, and if it’s not true they normally squash it pretty early…”
Umm Freddy you heard about that young fella Latrell with a few headlines pre season?
Honestly this bloke is so bias I can’t believe he is Origin coach.. goes to show why Cleary gets a hundred chances and hasn’t performed once but Cody gets the tap after a debut and ex rooster Pearce gets the nod but only cos current Rooster Keary unavailable.
Can’t wait for the Bunnies to dismember the Rorters this year Freddy!!

'We can't afford him': Seibold shoots down Ponga links

They just need someone to make the defence hesitate. Neither of the proposed 5/8s they are considering have either the kicking or running game to stop D from swamping Pearce & Ponga. Both edge forwards are great footy heads and run good lines but not the sort of players to make you look silly or scared.
Maybe a fit Moga could be the chicken dinner Scotty?

The Roar’s 2020 NRL preview series: Not terrible, not good, just average

The knights may have grabbed the wrong kiwi half? If Harris-Tevita doesn’t lock down the starting job at warriors they should throw the cheque book at him .. same situation for Scott Drinkwater at the cowboys. Both would be a great fit for Pearce.

The Roar’s 2020 NRL preview series: Not terrible, not good, just average

Take the underperformers from 2019: Panthers, Dragons, Knights, Warriors
Subtract the over performers: Tigers, Sea Eagles, Storm
Add in Teams that have improved or levelled:
Rabbits, Broncs, Raiders, Roosters
Subtract Warriors for reliable Storm
And we have our top 8:
Raiders, Eels, Rabbits, Roosters, Knights, Storm, Broncs, Panthers in that order.
Raiders v Rabbits GF

Predicting the 2020 NRL top eight

Hell of a player though Loz.. you will always have that mate, be grateful.

Predicting the 2020 NRL top eight

Souths really??
Haven’t you heard Mary?
Laurie Daley has said that Bennet is past it and is old school. Past his prime, not up to speed and his succession plan stinks.
Let’s forget for a second that Daley probably hosts the single most worst coaching record of all time and can barely select his own brekky let alone a winning team.
This fella who is now a representative for gambling company TAB, has blasted possibly, nay probably, the greatest coach of all time.. based on Laurie’s personal professional experience as a tactician and “fellow” coach of course.
Luckily the only thing worse than Laurie’s coaching record is his tipping record (answers any questions as to why TAB hired him huh).. so you are correct.. bunnies with a bullet into top 4 2020.. glory glory brethren

Predicting the 2020 NRL top eight

There are two outlandish comments here:
“Clear is unsure of…..”
Seriously he is not sure of anything at all!
Second outlandish comment:
“As a coach…”
Gus says it best… No, no, no no no Ivan. 😛

Cleary unsure on NRL captain's challenge

Ok so when I originally read this article, I was frothing for footy and was like “geez cheer up Timmy”
Now I’m like wtf do we only play 2 games in a pool of 4? What do you fn mean we don’t play a pool match against everyone??? WHY, why don’t we play the Titans.. helloooooo who thought of this?? What is wrong with you people!!
Bad enough regular NRL season is grossly unfair but this is just ludicrous.. so I’m Damien Cook right.. I fly to Perth Thursday.. kick back for the evening.. play total of 9 minutes footy on Friday arvo.. go back to hotel.. body clock still on NSW Time.. Play another 9-12 minutes of footy.. go home.
Omg we are a laughing stock with fans and players alike

Exhuming the NRL Nines: Flogging a dead horse no-one wants

Nicely done! Finally raiders get to keep a bad boy on the straight and narrow and in the club, Ricky Stuart take a bow!
Just off topic but I just read an article about Meninga a saying he will definitely keep Arrow at Titans for 2020 because they need him.
What caught my eye when confronted with criticism about losing Arrow to the bunnies, he was quoted as saying that they couldn’t afford to pay overs for him and match the bunnies offer!!
Mals official role is head of culture at Titans… ummm yeah nice one Mal!

Wighton signs four-year extension with Raiders

The game is definitely in a transition stage but one thing remains constant.. the refs still have way too much control over the flow and more often than not the outcome of the game.
I don’t have an answer for that and obviously the NRL don’t either but I’m assuming on field technology either isn’t being embraced by the NRL office or it hasn’t caught up with the game itself yet?
I hate watching roosters give away deliberate penalties inside their 20.. I hate watching storm intentionally slow down the ruck.. I hate Cronulla blatantly offside defending their line.. I hate scrums (I mean wtf).. I hate watching one team unable to seize momentum when opposition is blatantly given far more latitude than deserved.. Until there is a resolution in on field technology we are just going to have to cop it unfortunately.

Rugby league: What a game, what a shame

Nat you are nit picking a bit bro. As speculation is all most of us can go by I think it’s extremely obvious that Sharks let him go or offered him big unders. With the retirement of Gal they should have been desperate to keep Capewell if they had any sort of opinion on the kid.

Mark Geyer is wrong about Kurt Capewell
