Klinger to come in and bat 5. About time he got a chance

Shaun Marsh is not the man to replace Khawaja

Contracts can be worked around, this is a golden opportunity for the Storm and NRL in Melbourne. Are they too stupid to see that and take advantage of it? Yes of course they are.

Does the NRL really care about Melbourne? No of course not, they are barely tolerated by the NRL & the Sydney biased media. Yes there was a rogue administrator who cheated the system but they have more than paid their penalty for that.

Do they really think they get all that TV money without Melbourne?

These are the reasons why this won’t happen.

Should the Storm move their preliminary final to the MCG?

“Sam Bradford isn’t a very good player” – respectfully disagree

NFL preview: NFC East is a two-team competition

100% agree with this. He’s not guaranteed to even play each week. 7 will be left with egg on their face if he is inactive every week.

I generally watch red zone anyway

And being a west coast team none of their games will be buried at 3am.

Channel Seven may struggle to retain fans in Hayne Mania play

Fantastic now we get to watch a garbage team every week

Seven to broadcast Jarryd Hayne's San Francisco 49ers games

Burns for sure. We need to draw a line in the sand now and not pick anyone new above 30. Klinger could be an option for a one off at the Oval but not long term

The Ashes: Who are the contenders to replace Michael Clarke?

He will have his time, but not this year if Qld want to win

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

Hi Birdy, I don’t think thats a viable option for expansion to be honest. The Storm should be the only team in Victoria and they should look at Perth and Adelaide first so they can truly call themselves the National Rugby League

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

I agree once every 3 or 4 years is enough. They did it 3 times in 5 years in the 90’s and by the 3rd time the crowd had dwindled from 87k to 25k. I was at all of them and can tell you the MCG with only 25k there is like a ghost town.

They should take the game to other places like Adelaide, Perth and NZ so there is not 2 games in 1 state in a year and to try and grow the game.

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

Thanks Mike, I am not a Queensland supporter, merely a Victorian who loves the game and the Storm. Sitting in the stands on Wednesday I could not help but ask myself if some of the star Queenslanders were actually playing. I think Smith will come back strong and with the potential return of Cronk and the game being played in Brisbane will tip the scales in the Maroons favour. If Gallen is out that won’t help NSW either.

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

It will still be worth $100 million if played on stand alone weekends

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

Love your work Hoy. Cronk is a gun, but has been overshadowed most of his career by higher profile players. I suggest thats the way he he likes it.

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

As a Storm fan I can tell you its about time he had this surgery and Storm fans are growing tired of being second priority, its impacted on our season too many times

Five things we learnt from Origin 2

This is right on this piece. The senior players are not giving enough. Goddard should worry more about his own game and less about yelling at the key defenders he is supposed to be protecting and at the younger players. Jackson Merrett was one of the few players that had a crack against Richmond and his reward is to get dropped. Young players need to come in and be given the rest of the season.

This might be unpopular but I would actually trade Goddard at the end of this year.

Tom Bellchambers has never been and never will be an AFL standard ruckman.

Courtenay Dempsey has had so many chances and shoudl not get any more.

I am sorry but all is doom and gloom at Essendon. But it doesn’t have to be.

We cannot even begin to move on while James Hird remains at the club.

It is not all doom and gloom for Essendon

They should take 1 game every year and play it somewhere else. Adelaide, Perth, Wellington and back to Melbourne could be a good cycle

Origin experiment can't stop at Melbourne

I agree Ronan, he needs to play. The team should be Warner, Rogers, Smith, Clarke, S Marsh, M Marsh/Watson, Haddin, Johnson, Hazlewood, Lyon, Ahmed.

Fawad Ahmed should debut against Windies next week

Spot on Xavier I agree with you. Unfortunately that ship has shipped in the AFL the clubs are way too powerful.

Having said that it does annoy me the impact it has on my NRL club every year. Not fair on the clubs when we pay the majority of the players wages.

The Origin of jealously

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Haddin announced his retirement yesterday. Wade may be inferior to Haddin as a keeper but not as a batsman. Finch will not be secure in his spot but deserves another series.

Australia's ODI team will only get better

Leading wicket taker in Sheffield Shield. Must be picked.

Fawad Ahmed should be Australia's next Test spinner

I think he’s done. Even if there is an injury to one of the other all-rounders IMO Bailey should come back in at 5 and the all rounders can bat 6-7 with Haddin 8 and the quicks 9-10-11

Has Watto played his last ODI?

Great shows guys, enjoyed it

Roar World Cup Cricket Show - Episode 1

Well said Swampy. I am an Essendon fanatic slowly losing interest and just want this over whatever the outcome is for the players. Hird must go. Strangely the thought of all these new players excites me although I think our list is overrated anyway.

As a Storm member I can tell you the mud will stick with this for a long time. Essendon needs to clean out the board and coaches and start afresh, trying to get back to the top with good old fashioned hard work and astute recruiting.

For Essendon, the damage is already done

Well said Josh

Why Buzz Rothfield should never cover the Super Bowl again

Burns needs to stay in the side at 5 when Clarke returns. Smith to 3 and one of Watson or Mitch Marsh at 6

The Shaun Marsh selection farce

We are picking 3/4 the same. I went 170-84 in tips for the season so hopefully we are both on the right track

Don't believe the non-hype, the NFL Wildcard Playoff will be a cracker
