Sharks star stood down after positive test as police charge half for DUI with suspended licence

sly simpson?? was that OJ’s nickname?

Sufferball: How the Dragons are turning pain into pleasure under Shane Flanagan

ahhh, if the back seat of that HD Holden could talk ……

they also had M.E.S.S., as in Memory Erasing System Stupid, as in get up in the morning and yes, you really did drive home and leave the car parked over the front garden … or in the neighbours driveway …. or lights on & doors open.

agreed. its a bit of an old chestnut when people say “if he was a Qlder he would have played 30 games”, with all the nsw players that say that about, Qld would have had to play 10 origins a year for them all to get to that number.

'There were no decisions to make': Skipper drops retirement bombshell after doctors' grave warnings

no, it’s ok, Lucky Luciano took his spot cause he was over living in BananaLand.
plus we only have room for one Jayden, thats why we let J.Sullivan go.

hmm, you might have a point there. Wally Gator, Coyne, Bartrim – most of the good ones we got early and knocked the pineapple off their shoulder before turning them into real players. some of them, like Gordi, were just sooks anyway and unwanted.
i was sorry to see Kerr go, if he can get his fitness up with more minutes, he’s a real handful.

what, so he can hang out with those other under-handed Queenslanders who’ll try and talk him into moving “home”? no thanks. plus, he was at Souths before us – thats where his game really went off a cliff.

hold on, hold on, what happened to the famed Qld “pick & stick” loyalty programme, you’re going to drop some-one to get him in? ….. i think just leave Jaydn where he is, suffering away at the Dragons like a good Catholic, not getting flogged playing meaningless Origin like you do to our Ben every year.

no no no no no no, this wont do, any talk of “finals” & “dragons” must be suppressed. everyone knows those two words are mutually exclusive. dragons need to be flying under the radar, attracting no interest, left unspoken, low profile, unheralded and most of all not the word on everyone’s lips. from now on, they should simply be referred to as “the team that shall remain nameless”.

NRL Power Rankings: Round 7 - Dolphins, Dragons finals bound? Knights a non-event, Parra on the precipice

ahhh, Sharons Headband ….. you know he’s listed as a “development” player at Manly.

Defences absent as Dessie's Titans go 0-6, while Seibold's Manly show just how far they still have to go

the flop is my pet hate at the moment. i really dont see why if the tackle is called this ridiculous “submission/dominate” by the ref, then its ok for another defender to basically trot in and lie on top.
if the player with the ball is grassed by a good, low tackle his progress is stopped, the ball has touched the ground. yes, he’s been “dominated” by the defence, that’s not a reason for a 105kg backrower to dive in.
Melbourne, once again, excel at this.

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

clearly Gutho must have Trent’s words ringing in his ear about how “there wont be many points on offer” in the 2nd. at the time i thought, geez penalty goal neither here nor there at that stage.

'We gave up': Under pressure Arthur rages at 'part-time footy team' Parra as undermanned Dolphins run riot

i’m definitely no footy expert but i’ve watched it for a long time, & i cannot remember seeing a 1st grade team shredded so badly thru the middle like that. Parra’s big name forwards looked incapable of any resilience.

Moses needed a bit more depth i reckon, he takes a tad to wind up. he’s a big unit, young kyle might be starting to use him well.

'Complete performance' sees Dragons stun Warriors - and Lomax rocket into Origin contention

Trent is the assistant coach, so if Arthur’s gets the punt ….

saints always up for Anzac Day match, several upsets in the past. what they dont want is to be favourites – time to stay low avoiding that radio wave detecting/locating thingy.

Flicka to the Eels, continuing their successful signing of previous Saints players – Mark Riddell & Justin Poore, geez didnt they kick on after moving to Parra.

he’s making me feel like i should be sorry to see him go. do you think his current form is sustainable Ken, and what do you think about young Kyle so far?
