I didn’t suggest you said he needs to be sacked, but you did say “For example, if he was a teacher, he’d be sacked on the spot” in this piece.
Can we please stop feeling sorry for Paul Gallen?
I hate it when people say that if playing in the NRL was a regular job, players would be sacked on the spot for these discrepancies.
Well this isn’t a regular job, it’s a professional sport.
Can we please stop feeling sorry for Paul Gallen?
I can’t believe people actually believed Barba would be a premiership winner at the Broncos after the year he had in 2013. His form was on a distinct downward slide and it looks like it’s still going.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
If you don’t pick Test cricketers that have experienced Test cricket and failed, then that puts a big black line through Phil Hughes’ name.
He keeps proving himself at Shield level though, and as a result keeps getting picked in Australian squads.
Who’s Australia’s next Test keeper?
It’s time to get Shield cricket back on TV and on FTA, especially in this awkward period of time when the One Day Cup has finished and the Australian summer of cricket is still a fair way off.
Things we learnt from the One Day Cup
I don’t think it’s fair to drop Walker since he got thrown into fullback all of a sudden. Cherry-Evans probably won’t be fit for next week either.
New Zealand storm home against depleted Aussies
What about Sam Whiteman? Surely he’s in front of Paine and Dunk. Only 22 years old too.
O'Keefe or Lyon must be dropped
As much as I admire the effort and patience of Rogers, they are going to need to reach Pakistan’s total relatively quickly if they are to win this Test. Hopefully he’ll pick up the pace a tad.
Aussies can still win the first Test against Pakistan
I suppose that’s true, but I still think the statement “BMozz at the back will trouble many teams” is true because of his pace and excellent support play.
He’ll be an improvement on Perrett, regardless.
BREAKING: Brett Morris joins brother Josh at the Canterbury Bulldogs
Yeah that’s fair enough, I was just thinking that this time around he’ll have actually spent the pre-season getting ready for fullback instead of being thrown in there.

Didn’t Morris request to return to the wing?
BREAKING: Brett Morris joins brother Josh at the Canterbury Bulldogs
If I recall correctly, his form was excellent in the short amount of time he spent at the back for the Dragons. Scored a flurry of tries, a few long range ones too.

Whether or not this whole Jarryd Hayne thing was nothing more than a ploy by the NFL, it certainly worked on me. Since he announced he’d be heading to America, I’ve started watching games and really gotten into it.
Nicely done, NFL.
What Hayne's NFL venture will mean for Australian fans
Why is a Manly fan glad to see the back of Hayne? I don’t support the Eels, but I still think he’s a huge loss.
Hayne's Hollywood plan B
Yes, I can’t imagine them signing a fullback on huge money and then not being able to fit Hayne in, should he return in 2016.
Hayne's replacement must bleed blue and gold
Are you seriously telling me that Canberra or St George would turn their noses up at him?
Five questions from the 2014 NRL grand final
Well if all of those players you mentioned ever got on the field for the Sharks at the same time, they’d actually be quite a good team. They’re the wooden spooners because of all the drama and injuries, really.
James Graham is one game from the top shelf
That’s a pretty ignorant comment. If you’ve been watching the finals you would have seen that he has been quite a handful for opposition defence.

Also I think you’ll find that the Mata’utia brothers are all Bulldogs juniors having played for the Bankstown Bulls. Just a family coming home.

I don’t get why that’d be a bad thing. I think it would have been a nice 10 year reunion.

So because he lost two Tests as captain in the UAE, Clarke is a poor captain and the team is simply not functioning under him.
