I didn’t know about his wife. Big believer in experience with Euro clubs improving coaches though

Wallabies to get new skipper, Bledisloe joy and shock Rugby Championship win: XV fearless predictions for 2024

Bancroft is tainted and brought great shame on the nation and stain on the baggy green.
Marcus Harris isn’t test standard and Renshaw too inconsistent.
Throw Green in and you’re looking at as least as many runs as Harris or Renshaw with the bonus of electric fielding and another seaming option. Harris is one of the worst fielders I’ve ever seen

'Specialist position': Bancroft calls for full-time opener to get Warner replacement nod

Friend we pretty hopeless as a Super Rugby Coach in Australia and didn’t really get the best out of any of his players. I’m not saying he couldn’t now but that would be a massive if.

Bring Chieka back in and you can kiss goodbye the few QLD fans who haven’t already left for the NRL

Wallabies to get new skipper, Bledisloe joy and shock Rugby Championship win: XV fearless predictions for 2024

2018 was right up there.
RA gave Chieka Carte Blanche after a fortunate run to the 2015 RWC Final. The next two and a half years was Rome burning while Nero selected his favourite Tahs, massively spiteful to fans from other states. RA had a chance to sack Chieka before the Spring Tour in 2018 and install a stable hand (eg Jake White). Instead they gutted Larkham and hoped everyone could wait for a new dawn after the 2019 RWC. Like the Eddie gamble, this one backfired as a massive portion of Wallabies fans walked away during this period.

Broken promises, sacrificial lambs and a monumental low blow - goodbye, good riddance to 2023 for Wallabies fans

Even more despicable was the English team’s (notably McCullum’s) action to snub the Australians from their dressing room after the fifth test. Extremely low brow behaviour and it won’t be forgotten when they return for their next hiding down under.
I really hope Lance Morris is fit and firing for the Gabba test

RA to begin hunt for Wallabies coach imminently after securing key man, Schmidt keen as Nucifora talks continue

RA wouldn’t be stupid enough to appoint Chieka.
His stint from 2016-2019 was as appalling as his behaviour and selection.

CONFIRMED: 'I doubt it' - Nucifora returns to the fold after backflip, as new head of HP locked in

2010-2011 they were at their absolute peak, pretty much all of them fit and in career best form. Watch AAC and Mitchells form in the Hong Kong Bledisloe win or when they put 60 on the French at State de France in 2010.
Your argument is weak but you’re too stubborn to concede.

He had Pocock, Quade, Genia, O’Connor, Ioane, Beale, Horwill, AAC, Mitchell in the form of their lives. You could argue after the 2011 RWC that injury hit almost half of these players (who would never be as good) but no denying this group in their pomp were once-in-generation players. Deans even had Giteau in form early on (maybe two seasons) in his tenure as well as George Smith.
Deans was spoilt with players but simply lost control of them

That’s what they need to do now. Survival of the code down under looks less than likely at this point.

High hopes for Pasitoa this year or for Noah to start successfully attacking the gain line. Wallabies need depth at 10 & 12

Fears for Rebels' future as debt threatens their Super Rugby existence - but CEO says 'we will be fine'

In all seriousness though he was very vocal about things he never did.
He milked the publicity cow from 2017-2019 and maybe tossed a couple of jobs and a few bob at the club during that time but has been strangely quiet since.
Seems he is pivoting to the NRL now.

Deans had the best crop of Australian players during his reign since the end of the McQueen era. The Tahs, Reds and eventually the Brumbies were all competitive or dominant between 2007-2013. He did well with the Wallabies initially but the wheels fell off at the 2011 World Cup and he didn’t possess the man management skills to put them back together.

Or go back to three Super rugby sides and have Twiggy fund a third tier comp which the Force and Rebels can play in. This essentially was what GRR was meant to be with a few other regional teams. Twiggy has always been full of bluster with his grandiose PR stunts ($50 mil ‘gift’ to RA to save the Force in 2017 or the GRR circus).
Why not put him to the test to see if he is not completely full of BS?

Perhaps we need leadership with strong acumen like your hero Hamish McLennan eh Biscuitman ?
Imagine a few more of his Captain’s Calls & extravagant corporate card expenses.
PE Deal: Fail. Diplomacy: Fail. Smash & Grab: Fail. Fiscal Responsibility: Fail
The ex players you are whining about couldn’t be worse.

I hope you’re right KF. Lynagh is a courageous tackler but he was bumped off a few times by the big men early in the season. He seems to have the right skills and temperament. Even his goal kicking technique looks solid (unlike Carter Gordon).

Four into 10 won't go: Kiss working hard to solve flyhalf puzzle

Is it a steady stream out of WA though? I hope I’m wrong and there is a generation of superstars coming out of school this year but gee their output to date has been abysmal.
17 years and I can think of Dane HP who was good, Kyle Godwin average & Pek Cowan who was poor. Naming quality players who have come from their development pathways (not SYD or BNE) is challenging

Fears for Rebels' future as debt threatens their Super Rugby existence - but CEO says 'we will be fine'

Connor Vest’s last couple of games before fracturing his neck were very promising. He even bossed the Chiefs forwards. Without Tupou though there are no explosive runners in the forwards and agree the midfield does not look terribly threatening.
I bet the Reds wish they never let Carter Gordon go.

Pressure Points: The Kiss of life? Les has habits to shake at the Reds

😂 they may produce the most but during successful eras couldn’t even produce the best.

Super Rugby clubs want a handout? That's a disgrace, the game is already broke

Very true. RA should deduct Suali’ii’s 4.8m salary from the Waratahs’ portion of funding over the next 3 years (or send him to the Force or Rebels). As we all know this is not how RA works. They focus on one team, the one closest to their HQ. Only after ‘that team’ has sold all of its assets and misappropriated all of its funding does it expect other clubs to cough up their own nest eggs for the greater good.

Don’t waste your keystrokes WB.
Your little Hamish pieces are as believable as the Xinjiang 80’s style propaganda pieces from the CCP.

You’re not a natural salesman Rolando. Maybe try an anti-vaxxer forum.

'What a disgrace. I feel sorry for Japan': Sonny Bill's blistering smackdown of 'full of crap' Eddie Jones

I don’t think it will spark a rivalry between the nations so much as Eddie himself needing protection in full riot gear when moving through Australian Stadiums.
