Would love to see a Sharks v Parra GF.

So for us neutrals, who is the most bearable NRL premiership winner?

As a Sharks fan I’d rather see a home ground advantage in the finals over playing somewhere else.

Global Round: Sharks CEO wants to see NRL play on four continents in same week - Dubai, Oceania, Europe and US

I’m 100% confident that Dino isn’t the one doing the construction work in Woolooware.

Shark Park upgrade is not a new thing, if there were any doubts about it then those doubts should have been raised when the upgrade started, not a few weeks out from finals.

What are the standards, though?

Yep, that’s it exactly.

“Try telling the millions of taxpayers who are already opposed to the NRL’s greed in demanding money for new stadiums and centres of excellence for their clubs when there’s the not so trivial matters of a stifling pandemic, flooding and bushfires draining the public coffers.”

Unfortunately that’s not how governments treat their “buckets”, and the funds for the stadium projects aren’t being diverted to assist with any of the reasons listed above, they are still in the same “bucket.”

They shouldn’t have to relinquish it. Having a home game in the finals is a reward for the teams position on the ladder at the end of the regular season. If they take away that reward for the Sharks, they need to do it for every other team that has a home final game.

Incorrect. Every pub I’ve been in since I turned 18 (22 years ago) will get their staff to either remove you, or mess you up, if there’s two to a cubicle. Unless you are women, of course.

NRL News: Graham goes into bat for Stuart, Walker defends Fainu show of support, Barrett joins Eels

There’s only two reasons there would be two blokes in a toilet together, and if they both come out with drinks in hand and perfectly dressed, we can safely rule one of those reasons out.

As a Sharks fan, I hope so!

Experts Roar: Who is Panthers' biggest threat - Storm, Sharks, Roosters, Cowboys, Rabbitohs, Eels?

In front of a GF crowd anything is possible.

Gone way too early.

Goodbye Paul, and thanks for all the footy.

'We cannot find the words': Tributes flow for former star player, premiership-winning coach Paul Green

I’ve been saying it for years – Ricky Stuart is all about Ricky Stuart, no one else. If something goes wrong it’s not Ricky’s fault. If the team loses it’s not Ricky’s fault. If he fails as a coach it’s not Ricky’s fault. If he says something bad about someone it’s not Ricky’s fault.

The funny thing is that, all in all, Ricky isn’t to blame to here. It’s the absolute idiots that keep giving him coaching positions.

Is Ricky Stuart a weak, gutted coach or an old dog unable to learn any new tricks?

I’m not touching this one with a ten foot pole.

Move the GF to Brisbane and see how quick the NSW gov change their tune. Or perhaps the QLD state gov offer to upgrade NSW stadia in return for having the GF in Brisbane every year!

Political grandstanding abounds as stadium stoush gets ugly - but it's correct call to cancel suburban upgrades

He did try at times. But not much more. I was surprised.

The general consensus amongst the main Christian churches is that the Mosaic law played a huge part in shaping of Christianity, but the majority of modern Christian churches are of the view that Mosaic law and the Old Testament are applicable only to Judaism. Indeed, modern Judaism holds the view that the Old Testament only applies to Judaism, and not Christianity.

For Christians the New Covenant is their new “deal” with God through Jesus, and supersedes the old “deal” with God which came through Moses, an Israelite.

The Old Testament is included for reference points and “historical” purposes, for reasons such as creation mythology and the like. Like the part where it says the Earth was created in a week, and that it’s only a few thousand years old.

In terms of another great work of fiction, it would be like having The Silmarillion added to the start of The Lord of the Rings trilogy; It’s not quite right, it doesn’t all add up, and it’s best to largely ignore it.

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

No, Leviticus is not from the Christian bible. The Christian bible was written after the death of Christ, which is why they are CHRISTians. Leviticus is Old Testament (Torah) and does not apply to Christians.

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

Yes, Old Testament stuff, the same as hating gay folk. New Testament doesn’t include any of those things, nor hating on gays. If they are using the bible to support their actions they are using Old Testament references, which is superseded by the New Covenant. They don’t even know what they are talking about in relation to their own magic book.

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

Being gay is not a choice. To suggest so is not only painfully ignorant, but powerfully stupid.

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

Are you suggesting being born gay is a choice?

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

What I find hilarious is that anti-gay sentiment is Old Testament stuff. Christians are part of the New Covenant, which was instituted either at the Last Supper or the death of Jesus, depends on which magic institute you subscribe to. Jesus never said anything about homosexuals, and the relevant epistles are incredibly debatable as there is quite some linguistic acrobatics being used in the original and many, many subsequent attempts at translation.

Consuming, or even TOUCHING a cloven hoof animal = bad. Masturbation = bad. Tattoos = bad. Mixed fibre clothing = bad. Shellfish = bad.

The players in question are not boycotting this game for religious reasons, they are boycotting the game because they don’t like the “rainbow” people and they want an excuse to discriminate against them. Their religious excuses are just that, an excuse – to discriminate.

Robinson spot on: What would Manly seven think if a teammate refused to wear a Pasifika themed jersey?

You’re talking about a vocal and abusive minority, that also includes straight folk that think their woke campaigning is assisting.

What the Manly scenario boils down to is kids that were indoctrinated from birth to hate people based on how they came out of the womb.

Hasler's hair-raising humility saves Sea Eagles by tiptoeing through cultural war minefield

I didn’t expect the Sharks to win against the Panthers, but after watching that game on Saturday and the amazing home crowd, I can’t help but think if the game had been played in neutral territory the result would have been different.

As it stands I can’t believe Penrith won by so little. It was a decent game of footy from both sides.
