I loved Waqar Younis as a bowler.
My favourite batsmen would have to be Brian Lara and just for his style alone Saeed Anwar (that 194 against India still gives me shivers).

Who are the best cricketers you've seen?

Good on him, wish him all the best in the draft. At 6’6 and with his athletic ability he could be a viable option at Shooting Guard.

Dante Exum and the 2014 NBA Draft

Sevens in the Olympics should be very interesting!

Touch football is rugby league's sevens

It’s a good deal for the A-League in general and most Heart fans (unless you are a Man U supporter).

The opportunity for the Heart players to go over there and use state-of-the-art facilities and train with some of the best players in the world has to be a plus and this can only raise the standards of the A-League!

How Manchester City could break my Heart

Not sure Nadal can be beaten at the moment but if Stantastic goes in with a positive attitude you never know!

Inspired Wawrinka joins the big guys

The impression I got was that it was precautionary, but you never know with these reports. Unfortunate for the player if any further damage has occurred.

Barba and the Broncos a perfect fit

Will be an interesting season I hope! Was not too happy with last year, ruined by poor officiating.

Barba and the Broncos a perfect fit

Nakamura and his free kicks would be something to see!

Wanderers go global for Ono replacement

Looking forward to this. While I enjoyed the All Stars concept, it will be interesting to see some of our more enterprising players with a bit more paddock to work with!

NRL Auckland 9s: A look at the pros and cons

Completely agree in regards to his actions on Twitter. Social Media is a big issue and I believe certain players would do well to delete it altogether.

Barba and the Broncos a perfect fit

Will do mate! Certainly seems like they are gelling together.

Barba and the Broncos a perfect fit

Definitely! If he stays injury free and copes with the weather the Super League fans in general are in for a real treat.

An ode to Matty Bowen

Thanks Ret and everyone else for the positive feedback.

I must say I am quite excited to see how he goes in the Super League. If his knees hold up I am sure he will be a great success and help the younger outside backs at Wigan.

Nice article mate.

I find my favourite sports teams to sort of be an attachment or extension of myself.

For example if Arsenal fail to beat the Spurs in the North London derby fans all around the world will be hanging their head in shame!

The common factors which make us love sports

Strongly agree with points 3 and 5 and I believe it would be possible to implement these. However while the rest are also good points it would be harder for it to work out in the NRL. Especially 1. Jersey Overhaul as there is much less money in the NRL and the clubs need the various sponsors to survive.

Nice article nonetheless.

Five elements NRL could steal from NFL

Thanks mate

Thanks guys.

John – 100%. The game is all the better for the Preston Campbell’s and Matty Bowen’s. They attract fans to the stadiums

RTS – I do love Shecks footwork and have already purchased my ticket for the World Club Challenge. Should be a cracker and good to see Mango back on home soil.

An ode to Matty Bowen

Very true. I feel that although you either hate him or love him, Hodges has really matured and developed sound leadership qualities over the last couple of seasons. It is great for Benny to have some elder statesman like Hodges and Thaiday at the club to keep him on the right path.

Thanks for the compliment mate!

If he stays a family man and takes a leaf out of Mango’s book he may just get close! Definitely has the same natural ability and will to dazzle the crowd.
