By Geez Matt, have you been reading my mind? You couldn’t of put down my feelings better if I dictated them to you. As I said to my wife, no I not upset, we going to get beaten now and then, it’s called sport, and no I not going to blame Jordie’s quick throw in, Beaudy may of missed a couple of kicks, instead I am going to enjoy the fact I have just watched another bloody good All Black/Sprinbok test, where the better team won! Perhaps it is an age thing Matt, as I know I can nowadays watch the sport I love and enjoy it without MY team having to win! Ok I prefer when they do, but man I will take them playing this style of rugby with an odd loss any day!

As a rabid All Blacks fan, why was I okay with this shocking loss?

Although I agree be interesting to see Timu at 8, I suspect that the Wallabies have trained a certain game plan, so would like replacements to play same style, be different if he was out beginning of week!

Hooper out, Pocock to captain at No.7

I agree KCR, I think Smiggle maybe just trying to wind someone up. I don’t have a preoblem with game expanding, I sure the extra teams that aren’t maybe as strong will certainly be happy, and give it their best shot!

Rugby World Cup set for big shake-up with expansion on the horizon

I thought Mounga was a little shaky in first half, but I also see what Trevine is saying he was bloody good once he settled down, I would imagine Hansen and co would of been bloody happy as it was a very good first up starting game. Not sure if the ones being clever remember the likes of BB, Cruden, DMac or even the great DC in their first start for ABs at 10. I not suggesting he better or worse than anyone, just I think he had a bloody good first up test!

Dominant All Blacks unbeaten but feel the heat of the challengers

I noticed that Misha, but by bending over backwards to not call them the All blacks is probably showing how much they inside his head!

The Australian rugby system is the problem, not just Michael Cheika

No there wasn’t a question, I saw the interview and thought Hooper was right when he supported his team and said he wouldn’t swap any of them, christ if your captain not going to stand by his team he shouldn’t be captain!

The Australian rugby system is the problem, not just Michael Cheika

Poey has evry right to be absolutely spent, geez he got a ticker!!

Brilliant Beauden Barrett bags All Blacks another Bledisloe Cup

I agree ABs weren’t on top of their game last week, it actually a little bit of a worry to win quite comfortably on the scoreboard like that as must be hard to get the mental improvement that maybe needed. I think the Wallabies will be improved quite a bit, and actually wonder if no Folau may help them to be more creative and not quite so predictable. Anyway we know it should be good and looking forward to it.

All Blacks vs Wallabies Bledisloe Cup Game 2 preview and prediction

Couldn’t agree more Catchpole and Corne, I not a fan at all of music playing every bloody stoppage, christ do they need a quick game of rugby between acts at music festivals? I find it distracting ,I actually enjoy being able to discuss game with other fans etc whle there a stop in play. And yep you can turn off the mike of the idiot that feels screaming ‘we are Reds’ at Suncorp or any other cheerleading idiot at games anywhere, just let us cheer when we ready huh.

Is anyone else sick of music at the rugby?

Who have they picked to counter the TH, Tu’inukuafe has actually been moved to TH reserve,as there been injury. So surely you don’t mean Perry? I actually do think the Wallabies scrum is ok, but let’s not make things up!!

Hodge in shutdown mode leaves little to give in attack

Actually Sheek, from what I remember Gregan only really aimed the remark at Byron Kelleher, who I gather he didn’t particularly like, and even Justin Marshall thought it was goo as he evidently he and Gregan were great mates and he shared his dislike of Kelleher!!

The fine line between genuine Bledisloe hope and uncomfortable nerves

Yep Brett you got me!! I hooked, I actually loving this week, and wife knows how things stand. Thursday and Friday night games from Mitre 10 cup, Saturday, off to watch some GPS schoolboy rugby, return home and sit down to the women’s test followed by first Bledisloe of year, how good is life???
And as a Kiwi, I as usual pretty nervous about this one, I have heard some say ABs will win, but then other’s saying how good the Wallabies are looking, and I actually agree with Hansen etc on this, Wallabies aren’t a bad team at all!!
So I nervously ready and excited as can be! And as someone else posted this shows why we follow the best game in the world!!!

The fine line between genuine Bledisloe hope and uncomfortable nerves

Been watching this kid play for TSS, he is not a bad boy at all, looks to have a lot of skill and more importantly a real goos rugby brain! Not quite a poach, apparently he heading back to crusader’s academy, but he not signed with them, I believe Crusaders don’t actually sign them while they still at school!!

Crusaders poach Australian schoolboy star

While understanding your argument Stu, but were the ‘casual’ fans turned off? Because if there were many they didn’t seem to turn up for Force games when they were in Super rugby, in fact it seems they now have more coming to watch games. I in no way agreeing with what happened, but I do think some of the arguments maybe getting a little skewed!

Has cutting the Force been worth it?

I think you missing the point Adam, Will is suggesting it as an Australian thing, not as an answer to the Haka. I would love to see at least a verse of the Anthem in an accepted aboriginal language, and really pleased to see the welcome to the country before tests, it helps recognise Australians first people, and rightly so. By the way for those saying it, no it’s not Aussie’s version of the haka, it would be completely different, as is the Samoan one which is a Siva Tau

Rugby Australia and Adam Goodes should create a dance to rival the Haka

It is a shame to lose Ngatai I know, but I suspect the long term replacement for ABs at 12 will be ALB, personally think it is a position he really suited too, can see after ’19 WC maybe Mounga/BB ,ALB, Goodhue , Ioane, Bridge, Dmac being a fairly settled AB backline. I’m a Canes man and not ignoring Laumape’s claim by any means, or for that matter Alaimolo from the Chiefs. Maybe blessed with talent in a few spots!

Mo'unga and Barrett are knocking on the door at number 10, but who will it open for?

I think you being harsh there Cookie, yes NZ have 3 very good 5/8s but I don’t think it in anyway makes someone like Foley a lesser player, I suspect he would so alright in a NZ team too.

Mo'unga and Barrett are knocking on the door at number 10, but who will it open for?

Good interesting article Nick, I wonder if Carlos will add a bit to BB’s game next year as coach at the Canes. There has been talk he is not too bad at getting backlines to operate, and has said he thinks he can add a bit to BB’s game. Will certainly be interesting to see how it all pans out, I must admit I am liking Mounga more every time I see him play, but have to admit to being a DMac fan too. Let’s hope the AB selectors still have this headache still next year, which one of these 3 to leave out etc.

Mo'unga and Barrett are knocking on the door at number 10, but who will it open for?

That’s a wasted comment Bluesfan, if they played in the NZ conference we have no idea how they would of performed, as they would of had a whole different year! I am a Cam=ne’s man, but more than happy to see a Crusader’s/Lion’s final as they certainly seem to be the 2 best teams at finals time which is when you have to be at your best!

The Crusaders’ relentlessness will see them home

I agree Sylvester, though I suspect that Hansen may have a peek at Mounga against the Argies during the RC.

Seven talking points from the Super Rugby semi-finals

Geez when are we going to accept that the ref is the ref and stop worrying about it? Anyway it’s not just Sanzaar who decide who gets to ref top games , the coaches have an input too. I know some think that they should be appointed by internet forum posters, but fortunately they don’t!!

Angus Gardner to referee Super Rugby final

I like what you saying there Nick. I have only missed one Reds home game this year, and I actually a Cane’s supporter, but probably more just a rugby tragic, and reds play where I live. Like most regulars there it was quite hard to get into it a lot as at times it looked a little 1 step forward ,2 steps back, then maybe 3 steps forward etc etc. I know I will continue to watch Super rugby until the end, but in the meantime mate and I have decided rest of season maybe taken up with GPS college rugby, get a connect with some young un’s coming through etc. I honestly believe next year will be an improvement, they will try and curtail the TMO’s involvement I think, and I really believe generally the Aus teams will be more competitive.

Hard truths: I’m still in rugby limbo

Think Bruce Lee got sent home from training other night piru!!

Chastened Tahs aim for Super Rugby lift

I think what you all forget is they are not playing tests, so unless a ref is from same area (ie gardner last night) they are really neutrals. Because those that always go on about it forget that the next step is, how can we have Jackson (for instance) ref the Tahs/Rebels because he may not want the Rebels to win so it easier for Chiefs to qualify! See how stupid it is when you get conspiracy theories, and I iive you the game in Europe where the ref was from Romainia in the Spain/Belgium test. Following the reasoning of those that keep making excuses noone is probably impartial and maybe we need all refs to be from NH??

And then there was one... Waratahs last Australian team standing

Loved the game, and as a neutral thought it had most of what we want in a game of rugby! Brumbies were bloody good, but also taking into account that Tahs I am sure may of lacked a very slight need to be desperate as they already knew they were playing next week. All in all a bloody good ad for the game here in Aus!
