7 redundancies are nowhere near enough in an organisation so bloated that there is a job for a competitions manager, the community game. Why is RA involved at that level of administration – it’s just ridiculous.
Surely Waugh needs to get all staff to present him with a one par saying what they do and what tangible benefits they have achieved.

Very well written Ben.
When was the last time RA did any sort of quality research on what the fans really want out of their game.
For it is their game, it does not belong to administrators, who are transient at best.
Fans pay for everything through broadcast packages, tickets, hospitality, mechandise, support of sponsors and increasingly gambling.
The great Tottenham Manager, Bill Nicholson said “We can either play the way we want to or the way our fans want us to” He always chose the latter and Ange does the same and that’s why the fans love him.
It’s all about the fans.
Bollocks to the doom merchants - Super Rugby 2024 offers Australian rugby its most glorious opportunity
Super Rugby is a dog and has been for decades. Australia should sort out its own backyard first. Keep a Super 10 to continue to play against the best with only 4 Aust. teams. More people interested in club rugby, it’s tribal and authentic. Design a great club comp, start the season with it and build from the community game. There will be fewer clubs in Europe and Japan has limits and in reality, not many of our players are of interest to European clubs. They will also not want them if they know they will have to be released for the Wallabies.
