Damo hasn't published any posts yet

I was watching her comments live and couldn’t believe what she was saying.
She was justifying the stadium noise as an excuse for Curran to run (almost) through the umpire standing on the crease.
Richo and Hads were trying really hard not to criticise her too much.
Then she said this would never happen in the ‘women’s game’. Richo’s response was pure professional dead bat that he should be applauded for.
That said, there is never any room for social media abuse, the bane of modern humanity.

COMMENT: BBL Pom's disgraceful ump incident deserves bigger ban - and shame on Aussie icon for 'both-sidesing' it

Just saw the footage on 7. What a moron. Knew exactly what he was doing. Sixers trying to defend him is weird.
Lisa Sthalaker trying to defend him was pretty embarrassing too.

'As bad as it gets': Further drama as BBL Pom's 'f--khead' sledge revealed after copping mega ump intimidation ban

Play a day night test in Perth after school has finished and watch the crowd come in.

'Not curtains for me in Test cricket': Windies star defends putting T20s above Australia tour as weakened squad named

Congrats to all players that score big.
But let’s be honest, this one day is a significant reason cricket is struggling in other countries.

Starc raving mad: Aussie to bank insane $13,000 per ball in IPL as Cummins and Head also go for big bucks

Completely agree. All the talk about the pitch ‘getting too difficult ‘ reeks of modern batters getting spoon fed flat roads and not being able to adjust.
I thought the pitch was good.

Test-mortem: Jury's out on ‘treacherous’ Optus as Perth’s best venue, Warner robbed, Marnus slump no big deal … yet

CA should buy Mitch Johnson a good night out otherwise this series would only have about 10% of the interest it currently does have.

‘No better way to silence them’: Warner fires back at critics with blistering ton as Aussies pile on misery to Pakistan

Will the unused players be released for BBL or even Premier cricket, or will they rot on the sidelines for another summer?

First Test team announced: Australia spring a surprise with leadership change - 'trying to give opportunities to others'

Talking about this with a mate the other day.
Interestingly I think Aussie football (soccer) has the same issues. We struggle to produce flat out scorers.
My theory is that as a smaller nation we have also had the attitude that if we can’t produce many absolute world class players, we make sure we are the best at doing all basics. And it’s generally served us well, but not all the time.

Aussie NBA players hustling hard but no shooting stars emerging - time to change mindset in coaching pathways

Renshaw was really really poor in the first session. Couldn’t lay bat on the reverse swinging ball, couldn’t rotate strike. It was ugly. Green was going at a run a ball but couldn’t get on strike.
Fair play he batted all day for his ton but he should’ve been out in the 40s and Pakistan gave up after lunch.

Banging down the door? Renshaw makes selectors sit up and take notice in Warner race with classy century

To be fair, it’ll likely be the only interesting headline of the summer.

'Wouldn't be summer without a headline': David Warner's classy response to Johnson sledge

C, almost D grade attack + standard flaccid Canberra deck = still not getting my hopes up for a competitive series.

Maybe Pakistan will put up a fight after all: Masood monsters PM's XI with masterful ton

This would be our C or D strength team so nothing to worry about. Especially when half the team only arrived a couple days ago.

Australia fail depth test with second-stringers spun out as India clinch series: 'They got hold of us and didn't let go'

Ussie talking about rain but at no point did QLD even try to win the match. They’re bottom of the ladder but in both innings their batsmen made no intention to push the game.

Carey sends a message but Redbacks beaten, Marnus misses chance to shine

Everyone knows why. 1 acronym & 1 word.

BCCI & Money.

'Astonishing, hard to fathom': Marnus at a loss to explain rationale behind T20 series straight after World Cup

How does seeding for the new WC format work? If we need to finish as high as possible in qualifying then I think GD is going to be a big factor so demolishing lower ranking teams may be crucial.
Or not?

The Socceroos are set for their easiest World Cup qualification ever - but will that hurt Australian football?

Haha, It’s a huge joke. I haven’t heard any ex players that would have agreed with it.

Sheffield Shield round 4 wrap: NSW finally win a game and do we have a possible bolter selection for the summer Tests?

CA has instructed WA to limit Morris’ workload. He’s only playing every 2nd game, at best, at the moment.
If he’s not the next one to be picked then there’s some serious questions that need to be asked.

That have a test series in India in a few months first!!

UK View: 'Cowed and broken' - Poms' 'deeply galling' Aussie loss slammed as Starc takes cheeky 'moral victory' dig

Yeah, that’s not how these letters go. I’d be calling police, not lawyers.

Cricket icon is facing extinction - for the good of the game, this travesty must be stopped

Perth should have at least 2 potentially 3 more points already but GK Sail has made a critical error in each game so far.
Never like to single out an individual but he will need to do better this week.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 3

Agar injured. Re-did his calf only recently.

Australia dealt huge blow with Marsh out of World Cup indefinitely after returning home

My thought was, everyone has a number of strikes across the chicanes during the race so if DR had one up his sleeve to use then so be it.
And yeah, given Brodie was using the SVG bump and run playbook, I didn’t have a problem with it.

Supercars Gold Coast 500 Talking Points: A couple of last lap thrillers, a title deciding duel beckons... and what's a 'Bathurst SuperFest'?

It’s got some similarities to the end of Ponting’s career. That said, Kohli was looking the same about 18-24 months ago and he’s back so hopefully it’s just a form slump.

Falling into LBW trap: Smith’s crisp signature shot deserts him just when Australia need it most at World Cup

I wonder if English fans are happy with how entertaining their brand of cricket is at the World Cup??
