Better Red than anything else.

The Reds playing at Ballymore with the complete lack of public transport will lose a bunch of fans. I remember the last few seasons of the Reds playing there and the days of standing in a barely moving beer queue and seeing none of the game because the hill didn’t have enough room after the entitled people laid out their picnic blankets. There is 100% no reason to shift from Suncorp stadium.

'Tough call': Reds too good for Tahs in cracking Aussie derby, as controversial penalty try, yellow to Jorgo proves telling

Maybe I should of been more complete with my murdering of the language. 😡

He should have put more effort into learning English right from the “get go”!

Wallabies to get 16 players for 75 minutes of the next match as compensation.

CLEARED! Koroibete set to face All Blacks as judiciary overthrows 'travesty'

You know your world has turned brown and smelly if you see M. Cheika as a saviour. At the moment he ensures I am extra motivated… to record any broadcasted games so I can fast-forward past him.

Six talking points from Super Rugby AU and Aotearoa

I’m shocked anyone liked the inane drivel that Gordon Bray dishes up. I hope I’m not forced to going back to that.

Stan Sport reveals subscription cost ahead of Super Rugby season

I just went and rechecked whether there was anything else of interest on Stan and came up empty. I’m not sure I want to pay $20 a month just for the occasional rugby coverage. At least kayo had a few other things like the F1 and big bashes.

McDermott wasn’t in the team this week.

How good was that? Felicidades a mis amigos argentinos.

Pumas beat All Blacks for the first time

Doesn’t Eddie McGuire work for the Nine network? I hope I don’t end up wishing for the “good” old days of Kearns rambling on the sideline.

I wouldn’t be the slightest disappointed if at least the first 3 of those failed to make the starting side in the next game. Hooper just wasn’t effective at much at all today.

Caleb Clarke's performance to the Wallabies' defensive wobbles: Four talking points from Bledisloe 2

Until the Cheika/Hooper years, I went to every wallabies match I could, including numerous O/S. I decided when I last wore the supporters jersey that it wasn’t coming out of the cupboard until they were both changed, so still I wait. Still a supporter, but NOT of the former coach and current captain.

Michael Hooper will remain as Wallabies captain for 2020

My wallabies supporters jersey will be staying in the cupboard for another year then.

Without wanting to decrease the number of Reds, I would swap McDermott in as the 9 and swap O’Conner out of the 10. Godwin? – nah – we have several better.

The Roar’s Super Rugby AU team of the season

Lot’s of experience at losing. Let’s try for something better.

The Roar’s Super Rugby AU team of the season

Hmmm – “keep them” One of the reasons the Reds have such a young team is failing badly on the retention caper and a few really dubious recruitments.

Brad Thorn weighs up his Queensland Reds future

I don’t get people talking up the Reds coaching. I wasn’t happy with the refereeing, but they lost that themselves more than the Brumbies won it. Too many lineouts lost, too many penalties, too many errors and just after Mcdermott shows what class he is, he gets subbed. As always … next season.

Brumbies halt the Red tide to win thrilling Super Rugby AU final

Nope. If you want to watch rugby with a smaller crowd, premier rugby or the former NRC is your thing. I’ll keep going to the much more accessible Lang Park awaiting a return to the glory days (or at least some semblance of respectability) and the crowds that will follow. You need a bigger stadium for a rampant Reds.

When the Reds played their last match at Ballymore, I stood in the rain with the long queue for 45 minutes waiting for the bus that had forgotten to turn up and just got there after the match had started. Zero interest in a repeat performance of that debacle.

… and I find your name for COVID-19 … disappointing.

Super Rugby retrospectives: Chris Latham

The last few seasons at Ballymore for those that weren’t in the two small stands were rubbish. Apart from in being far too hard to get to and from, when it was full, the selfish people with their blankets taking up too much space on the hill meant it was too hard to see the actual match even if you could get out of the endless beer queue by full-time. Move on.

Super Rugby retrospectives: Chris Latham

But they did kick it down to the other teams half only to have it booted back over their heads, loose possession and be defending their line again and again.

Reds fall short in brave Lions loss

Is the fly half being swapped after one match a symptom of the coach not really having a clue what direction they’re going, an admission of failure with selections last week, rolling the number 10 dice week to week like the last 2 years of his coaching or just some other random silliness to make sure the youngsters know who’s boss?

Super Rugby Round 2 teams: Reds drop Lucas in selection bombshell

You can have all the optimism you like about the squad maybe being better than some others in recent years, but then Cheika the clown will start playing the music and it will all turn brown. I’ll tune back in next with when we have a new coach, hopefully a new captain and hopefully some intelligence behind what the team is trying to do.

Hell is watching a Wallabies game

I’ll be shocked if he’s at the Reds more than one season or delivers any more value than his last disappointing season them. Maybe Souths came knocking at the Reds door looking for a replacement for Cooper? The Reds over the last few years have a very poor record in signing “established” players.

James O’Connor lines up Wallabies return after signing with the Reds

Make Hooper Captain/Coach. He’s not worth his contract amount just for playing and he’s a rubbish captain, so give him some other jobs to get some value out of him.

Daryl Gibson resigns as Waratahs head coach after dismal season

Thinking Reds supporters are impatient after 8 poor years is a little harsh. No matter how much lipstick you put on it second last is not a pass mark in any competition.
