My reply was not about rugby, league or soccer is was in reply to Josh’s post about WS NOT Interested in rugby like they are not interested in AF

Australian Rugby announces strategic plan: Grow the grassroots!

Here, here, well said Judy

Why girls need to join the boys' club of AFL

They weren’t told to not tell the doctor and they weren’t told not to write it down on the forms, in fact the sole reason they were found guilty was because they DID write it down on the forms they signed, there is so much INFORMATION muddled about from WADA, the AFL and ASADA not to mention the media that everyone is confuseD BY WHAT IS FACT and what is not.

McLachlan has sympathy for banned players

Yet the stats speak for themselves

GWS junior AFL teams West Sydney

2013 – 71 junior teams
2014 – 95 junior teams
2015 – 86 junior teams
2016 – 125 junior teams

MCLACHLAN: The AFL is ready to be the game for all Australians

Don’t even think about knocking the punt road oval grandstand down !

Tigers propose third AFL Melbourne venue

I find Docklands a great ground actually.

The AFL's Etihad Stadium dilemma: Renovate or detonate?

Western Sydney is the home of Australian soccer, there is probably more kids playing soccer in WS than maybe the rest of Australia.

Giant plans for a very small AFL club

A new 4 star hotel is not cheap

GWS Giants announce $800 million Manuka Oval upgrade proposal

That’s OK !!!!!!!

The A-League is at a crossroads

Good post, we don’t want any new jobs or developments !

GWS Giants announce $800 million Manuka Oval upgrade proposal

Sam Lane maybe ?, maybe she has inherited all the moral outrage and righteousness from her father Tim who refused to commentate footy with Eddie because of his principles 🙂

Malthouse: I can help banned players

If only Joel could kick

Eighteen players to watch in the 2016 NAB Challenge

The A-League is at a crossroads

umm, ok then

Police reportedly detain Melbourne City's Harry Novillo

Of course it is not a good look, it is being played out through the media, the media that BTW provides them with a extremely good living, it is what they call karma.

This sort of thing happens in the burbs etc all over Australia, everyone has seen it, been involved in it etc, maybe we could start a new reality TV show about it, add some cooking to it.

Who really cares except the nosey and voyeuristic.

Police reportedly detain Melbourne City's Harry Novillo

No positive tests, no whistleblower, no admissions of guilt and no proof of TB4 on site

A ridiculously low level of proof needed.

Malthouse: I can help banned players

If Harry Novillo was a NRL player in Sydney, the media would be camped outside his front door en masse, i think the Sydney media if possible is more prone to exaggerating stories than the Melbourne media, but that comes about from living where trashy news is more important any sort of truth.

But is ignoring soccer stories like this a slap in the face to soccer, is ignoring them a lesson as to where soccer sits in the scheme of things ?.

Police reportedly detain Melbourne City's Harry Novillo

Well lets face it, it really shouldn’t make news anywhere, its not really about football, just peoples private lives and AFAIK no real crime has been committed here.

Gossip trash is all it is.

Police reportedly detain Melbourne City's Harry Novillo

Not surprisingly the front page of the Herald Sun has a story about football hiking prices up for selective games, no mention of this soccer bloke, if he was a AFL player it would be front and center and the bloke hounded 24/7.

But everyone picks on soccer right !.

Police reportedly detain Melbourne City's Harry Novillo

LOL, seriously !

The A-League is at a crossroads

Not wanting to caste any aspersions on anyone but how do you know what this bloke gets up to ?.

The A-League is at a crossroads

Say what willis !.

The A-League is at a crossroads

Her MUM !, Don may have quite the reputation with the ladies.

Malthouse: I can help banned players

It was all trumped up but in the end trumped nothing.

Melbourne turns out great crowds for a wide range of sports from SOO RL to Bledisloe Cups to world class soccer and cricket and the crowds deserve a decent contest, not the tripe that was served.
