He knows what he’s up against in Auckland having not won there in years.

'Doesn't count for anything': Bernie gets serious with Brumbies as race for top two finish heats up

Good on the Wallabies coaching staff, I can see why the Reds may struggle too like the Rebels had Joey taken their forwards coach Zane.

CONFIRMED: Wallabies land final piece of coaching puzzle as ex-Lion signs on ahead of showpiece event

My prediction for the finals: Drua-Brumbies

Super Rugby W has been the most competitive to date but can anyone stop the in-form Tahs in the semifinals?

I can see why the AU scouts have been overlooking prospects like him be it the schoolboys or the average Tahs, at least the inaugural and long overdue TRC U20s will help keep more talented players at home instead of moving abroad.

Best of luck to Dolly on joining the Force despite the team itself being a mixture of foreign players and former Wallabies.

Aussie-born England capped rake Nic Dolly signs with Force ... and he'll soon be eligible for the Wallabies

Sounds like an All Blacks dilemma here on the halves

The forgotten leader Razor must pick for the All Blacks - and why it could change who wears the prized No.10 jersey

Ironic that it took potential liquidation that’s now averted with a “sponsor” to motivate the Rebels to do better this season, this one is a gimmie for the Melbourne boys so no excuses here.

ANALYSIS: Rebels rely on brute force over defensive integrity - but there's a sweet spot they can expose in finals chase

Reverting to the old laws might help since there’s too many laws implemented already by WR and pushed by RA itself ironically.

Rugby is losing the long-term battle: What World Rugby must learn from Australia before it's too late

And yet the Tahs ironically have old boys in charge of RA itself, no wonder snubbing Twiggy is coming back to bite them.

Anyways the Brumbies showing why they and the Reds have most of the best Wallabies compared to the Sydney boys.

Brumbies make it 12 straight against Tahs as Bell hobbles off in worrying sign for Wallabies

From wasting an opportunity by snubbing Twiggy who could’ve established grassroots development in WA just to entertain the Rebels who are now steady with help from a consortium to this, I can see why RA still seems out of touch from the reality on the ground regardless of the new appointees.

The thing is (according to them), that the referee Damon Murphy and Fiji rugby teams have had a complicated relationship right from the 7s which explains why they’re crying foul over it.

At least there’s a few of them that says otherwise that Lomani should’ve kept his cool regardless of what’s happening during the game.

'Insane and total stupidity': Drua have two SENT OFF as Rebels score 33 unanswered points to win again

Not bad from Hoops on debut

'I was bloody nervous': Hooper stars on Aussie sevens debut, women on track in HK despite red card

The Western Farce sure need alot of soul searching after getting pumped, I hope Twiggy has literally pumped plenty of money into the grassroots upwards in Perth.

'Went straight through us': Blues put 50 on Force as scrum issues return

To be honest, historically Fijian rugby teams and Damon Murphy the ref have never gotten along that it often riles up the fans as seen during 7s. ????

There’s even a video meme made about him that goes “I’m blind, I’m deaf, I’m the flipping ref” or something like that made by a disgruntled fan. ????????‍♂️

'Insane and total stupidity': Drua have two SENT OFF as Rebels score 33 unanswered points to win again

It’s a good thing that the Drua, like any other professional outfit, has everything in-house to deal with player welfare and sports mentality.

But seriously they literally lost the plot and the game itself when the halfback and replacement prop were shown red for breaking under the pressure that it won’t surprise me if they’ll be on the sidelines for some time.

Byrne has his hands full dealing with those two as the worst examples of losing the psychological battle.

Cheika would be legit if they’re still intent on showing Coleman the door, don’t know much about his assistant Gilmore but Grey is an interesting candidate as current Junior Wallabies coach.

And I’ve always seen the Tahs as the usual favorite for RA anyways, especially in terms of the guys in charge and the number of players in the Wallabies team.

Rugby Australia kicks off review into Waratahs as pressure mounts on Coleman ahead of Brumbies clash

No wonder RA sums up pretty much everything wrong with Australian rugby ever since the mid-2000s.

'We've got three pay cheques left': Rebels given glimmer of hope - but the clock is still ticking

Tigers been toothless for years so they’re doing what they can to uplift their standards from the ground up and good for them. And the clubs applying for that Vegas stint are definitely quite busy as usual.

NRL News: DCE back 'trick plays' to take down Panthers, 'No ceiling' as Tigers announce bold vision

Storm likely to be doing their own thing as usual regardless of what people think of them.

Storm warning: We’re sleeping on Melbourne again – they might be the biggest threat to the Panthers

At least the Rebels have a lifeline from this consortium with compelling reasons why they should remain in SR, it’s now on RA to decide and I’d be very surprised if they’re still intend on pulling the plug.

And to be fair, being in the community heartlands is better than the CBD and a near half-full AAMI Park.

Well said

'We have to keep the essence of what rugby is about': All Black legend's worrying words of warning

At least I know COVID stuffed the Jags in the following season right when they were being so competitive in 2019. From what I could gather about the Sunwolves, South Africa pushed for them to be kicked out for the most part when the Bulls, Stormers, Sharks, and Lions were part of SR citing logistics reasons despite having no issues traveling to Australia and NZ.

And I thought the new laws were a problem, but anyways NPC was literally the holy grail of NZ rugby where All Blacks were also released to play in it like back in the day compared to now. On the other hand Australian resurgence is a good thing and long overdue but obviously more needs to be done for the sake of the game such as taking Super Round to the original strongholds in ACT, NSW, and QLD instead of Melbourne. RA may also want to think about the fanfare in addition to better advertising and marketing with affordable prices on merch, food, and tickets.
Getting Japan and Argentina involved again would be ideal like a “Champions Cup” between SR and L1 with even better news that the Jaguares are coming back in 2026 if not earlier. The US market too is an interesting venture if Kanaloa Hawaii was reconsidered due to similar principles as the Drua which unfortunately was shot down by NZRU preferring that they merge with Moana Pasifika currently struggling as a nomadic team.

I wouldn’t really care much about the Rebels-Reds but the other two games are very interesting to me with finals spots up for grabs.
Tahs likely to upend the Force while the Drua women will look to win in chilly Canberra against the hosts after a hard fought win at home last week over the ladies from Perth.
I still think Super W and Aupiki should combine for a proper trans-tasman women’s comp even if the four kiwi sides put on masterclass performances against the AU sides providing harsh lessons while they’re at it. It’s no wonder the Tahs ladies are so good going to NZ for warm-up matches which helped them win Super W for years before the Fijiana Drua came along and dethroned them.

Super Rugby Women’s Week Four teams: Top of the table clash in WA, Brumbies aim to lock up finals, Rebels and Reds play for season

Indeed, I thought they were alright under Coleman despite losing games they should’ve won so here’s an opportunity against the wild horseys if they can in this “Wallabies trials.”

Super Rugby teams round 7: Bell returns but Tahs hooker gone for season, Jack back for Brums, Rebels' Leota blow

Four games no problem with the byes coming in, my picks would be the Force, Drua, Chiefs, and Brumbies.

Anyways, the Drua looking for their first away win of the season would be very interesting especially against a Rebels outfit that’s been given a lifeline to exist for more seasons with the PE thing sorted out by a former Qantas official despite “final stages” of sealing the deal.

At least that PE thing should be motivation for the Rebels not to slip up right when they’re in contention for the playoffs like previous seasons.
