I think the ‘sombrero’ is maybe more proven by the replacement they get for him.

Manu’s move shows that the Roosters' sombrero doesn’t exist – and that his departure is their call

Hahaha.

Manu tells Roosters he's leaving for lucrative rugby deal - but club lock down replacement

I live in hope.

Can you remember your team’s last victory lap - and what’s the likelihood of them winning Grand Final anytime soon?

Like Lee Majors, I loved Farah. Great hair has always been a magnet for me. Didn’t end up with that though. Lol

Team of the Month: a February-born World Cricket XI

Ha. Very good hair.

I had massive crush one doing uni. It didn’t work out. Way, way above my ranking. Lol

Hi astro. I’m with you. ‘…a heavily imbalanced one…’. It what they have trouble with a long, long time. A few other teams can attract a ‘talent’ for a cheaper market price. The eels have trouble attracting a player, met alone a talent.

Parra v the salary cap: The Eels have kept their stars, but has it thrown the whole team out of kilter?

And it doesn’t matter either if less people view it on pay tv then would watch on free to air

Gabba goodwill quickly fading as 'embarrassing' Windies set woeful new record in Canberra capitulation

I’m guessing Rodney Hogg didn’t comment before the last ODI game

If only my eels could buy him.

'It's an option': Manu serious about potential rugby switch as Roosters star closes in on huge contract call

Don’t really need another in nsw

No.

Green makes most of promotion but questions remain over best spot as Bartlett's burst propels Aussies to victory

There is not much ‘defensive’ anymore

Trust the lower order or farm the strike? Smith follows Waugh path but tail ends poorly after his crucial late error

I just think how it is nowadays. The mind set is that, not blocking, you got to dominate. It was a great ball, but that’s how ahead goes, hard. They want most every player to do that rather then ‘plod’. Remember players saying they’d get in trouble for slogging it in the nets, might have been Jones with coach Simpson getting up him. Nowadays, it would prob be a complete 180. Blocking in the nets the coach would say ‘cut that out or you’ll be dropped’. Lol

‘Intent’. ‘Putting pressure on the bowler and fielding side’

Yeah, in the past, 40 years plus ago I’d think 20 can give you a good guess. But for the modern age I don’t think so

Legacy on the line: Smith competing with all-time greats, and Voges, as he takes opening gamble in final phase of career

Great, great work there All day. It why it interesting looking a bit deeper

Cricket can’t solve Australia Day conundrum - it’s not up to sports to make tough decisions for governments

Hi JGK. Like with odi’s I think t20 may help the batting skills to get a massive score. Lots of luck and everything else, but if someone gets on a role

Plenty of Test cricket's records look safe, but which ones can still be broken?

I read about that, I thought clueless commentators.

And it shouldn’t be acting like ‘all’ arranged marriages are bad.

Australia play nearly half their Tests against England and India - to save the game, that needs to change

Hi Christo. I agree the schedule doesn’t help. But it goes further then that. Some have said it on here before and some disagreed, it being an ‘international’ game Australia can’t just hog the summer season or expect to only getting the top, stronger nations to come here during ‘our’ summer then complain a ‘weaker’ team is coming here. (I’m sure even the West Indies would love have Xmas and New Years home tests. For the ‘best for cricket’ schedule it would need a set one like you mentioned, but then also it would need to include years we wouldn’t have tests on the Xmas and New Years date because other others want to play on them at home. Maybe we’d only get it biannually and then bbl on it the alternate years. It’s tough to do because the icc hasn’t really got power over the international boards and those boards all look after themselves first. The icc don’t really rock that boat that much (particularly with India). I think a good schedule for everybody is possible, you won’t get everything you won’t but it’s be better. I dream of it.

Test Mortem: Adelaide shafted by schedule but pitch not up to scratch, Smith-Green jury still out, SOS to ICC for Windies

Regularly replaced top performers with another top performer. I wish they were my team. Lol

Legitimate titles or not, who makes the Melbourne Storm’s greatest ever team of grand final winners?

The storm have had some really great players
