I understand what you are saying but you are wrong. Additionally this article is only in reference to Australia and England so I have no idea why you are rambling on about teams that are not in these two countries.
How would A-League clubs fare in England?
I defiantly think he would add value to a 23 man squad but whether or not he is a starting player is another question.
Who would win in a Socceroos generation battle?
Thank you Sportsnut, I am a huge fan of Milligan but to put him in either side would be unfair on the point of the article.
Who would win in a Socceroos generation battle?
Yes the player missing on the left wing is Tommy oar. Players like Tim Cahill only had 18 caps before the 2006 world cup so a majority of his caps were in the Asian confederation and more then half or Schwarzars caps are in the last 8 years.
Who would win in a Socceroos generation battle?
I disagree with most of what you are saying but yes indeed your point in regards to Ferdinand is a good one.
Which EPL stars should we have in the A-League?
Yes premy they are all possibilities but the point of the article was extracting EPL players..
Which EPL stars should we have in the A-League?
Admittedly most of these players are not as technically gifted as Ono or ADP but you have no idea about football if you don’t think that these players would not benefit any A-League club.
Which EPL stars should we have in the A-League?
Yes signing Totti and Ronaldinho would be great but I didn’t include them in this article as to my knowledge neither have more then 50 games in the Premier League
Which EPL stars should we have in the A-League?
Franchise FC you are correct however when a goalkeeper has so many shots against him it is easy for him to look good. The point remains that Ryan Gelekivic are both getting game time.
Predicting Ange's new 'Roos
You know nothing about football team if you think Manchester city will come 6th.
Manchester United can still win the Premier League
How can you say “the 6th best squad under Moyes” if they would be the same squad at this point of time with any manager.
Manchester United can still win the Premier League
How about you get off my case. If that is the only thing you got out of the article then maybe you should go back to Sesame Street.
Being a bad sport is no fun
fadida every comment you write pisses me off, honestly Ferguson would not come out of retirement even if Moyes was shot.
Manchester United can still win the Premier League
My sincere apologies, like I said I do not have any idea about netball and I was just going off the top of my head but yes indeed you are correct.
Being a bad sport is no fun
I am acknowledging them but it seems they have not red the article.
In defence of Holger Osieck
Yes we WERE ranked in the 20s and 30s but that was largely based on the Asian Cup run. Japan have better players then the Socceroos across the park and football supporters in Australia do not seem to be recognising that.
In defence of Holger Osieck
Well you are a footballing expert. Out of that whole 800 odd word article all you managed to comment on is whether a goal was a header or a volley. Brilliant.
In defence of Holger Osieck
We had better players then. In 2005 we had the likes of Kewell, Neil, Emerton, Schwarzer etc at the top of their game. Part of the reason we are not as good today is that we still almost have to rely on these aged players.
Darn right I will use the “you’re either with us or against us” argument because it is justified. If you are not on board the take a hike.
If the players in your eyes under preformed against sides that as you say are less superior how is that entirely the coaches fault?
I don’t see my self as a footballing expert but I am willing to back what I believe. Type in “fadida the roar” and all you get is some commenting on peoples articles.
So many people have criticised Osieck for not trying different players and when he has everyone has had a go at him.
In defence of Holger Osieck
People forget that being in a World Cup was almost impossible a decade ago. If you are such an expert how come you are not in line to coach the Socceroos?
Australian players are good but they are not GREAT meaning that qualification isn’t always going to be comfortable.
Your are a blight on Australian football and I would cringe to imagine you cheering on the Socceroos the next years World Cup..
In defence of Holger Osieck
If you take away the 17 goals scored against Chinese Taipai and Guam NOT Hong Kong the Socceroos still averaged more goals for the against in the last 4 years.
In defence of Holger Osieck
Brisbane Roar would win the SPL no doubt.
