You talk about “smart Business Decisions”. Surely the smart thing to do here is to include as much of your potential “customers” as possible. By using the Tuggies colors your are alienating almost 90% of the supporter base, whether that is justified or not is irrelevant.

I congratulate you on the success of Tuggeranong. I have no issues with them doing what they need to strive and survive. I do have a problem with some of the actions Tuggeranong have taken since becoming so powerful which has left me with some Angst towards the organisaiton. But at the end of the day I dont want to support Tuggeranong because I do not play for Tuggeranong, They have been my number 1 adversary on the field for over 10 years. their Jersey has made me see red on the field for that whole time. Surely it is not too hard to understand that it is hard to then start to support that Jersey even if it is under a different name. I see this as a chance for the Vikings to regain some respect or “love: for lack of a better word by giving the ACT community a Team that everybody WANTS to support by allowing us to have a neutral Jersey… What is the hang up with Tuggies that they must flaunt their power and have everything their own way?… i could say the same to you get over yourselves and do the right thing for the team and the community. Actually I will commit to trying to help tuggies regain a good reputation if they let us have a neutral Jersey as a show of good faith.

Are you really suggesting that requesting that the UCVs to wear Gold, White and Blue instead of Red and White is going to undermine the whole team..nay the whole COMP!…Come on!

Nothing in return? you have the Name, The Venue and the respect from getting this started, all we are asking for is a different Jersey so we can feel like we are included. Vikings money doesnt give them the right to hijack the team for themselves

I have always said the funding is appreciated and needed, you are correct that no other club could afford to make this happen, which is why it is even more necessary for Vikings to do this and they should see this as Duty not give the money and then expect everyone to walk the Vikings line, but i guess you have the cash so you can do what you want…just dont wonder where the angst and “knife sharpening” comes from.
All we are asking for is a different Jersey from Tuggeranong, is that too much to ask?

Absolutely. I intend bringing the petition to the attention of the UCV Board once it is known who the members are.
