This article is about increasing appreciation and recognition of reporting symptoms and complying with health advice so that we can get on with the games that we love. Parents play an important role in recognising concussions, and enforcing management guidelines and return to sport protocols for better health outcomes. More needs to be done to better equip parents in making decisions about their child’s participation in contact sports.
