Well, he has made the All Australian team twice before and his form t this stage would put him into this season’s calculations.
Even now he is a firm Brownlow contender.
Still on only 24 and an inspiring leader of Port

Footy Fix: Does the Essendon Edge not apply to Connor Rozee or something?

I guess time will tell how they use…or not use …Parker
But I still see him as a plus

'Disproportionate reaction': Forget the doomsayers - Sydney's shock loss to Richmond means absolutely nothing

Jackjumpers win will live with the majority of Tasmanians for a long time . I guess because of the games promotion amongst all children and how it was accepted by all genders and had the support of politicians …probably expect them to jump on
Now there is not enough courts to accommodate all age groups in playing.
But saying that I loved being at the game where we knocked off the Vic’s
And to have Ponting up there with Tendulka and Kallis etc
Hopefully our AFL team will hit the ground running as well

JackJumpers' NBL title was special - but where does it sit among Tasmania’s top ten sporting moments?

As Christo said ..Adams is in this week.
And Parker and Papley would be great compliments to the talls
What a pair to contain
Again mho

'Disproportionate reaction': Forget the doomsayers - Sydney's shock loss to Richmond means absolutely nothing

It’s been a great start for Heeney
Truly the x factor

'Disproportionate reaction': Forget the doomsayers - Sydney's shock loss to Richmond means absolutely nothing

Dem, you would think with Mills on ball or half back and Parker on ball or half forward and Adams coming off the bench that they will help Heeney even more so
His form is so good.
I can see them as a strong contender…in mho

For the life of me MMike I don’t understand why the Crows , and other teams, just drag off the nearest player to get their best player back onto the ground
They can reset interchange after Dawson gets back on
Never thought I’d hear Brian Taylor say the same thing.. didn’t think he was smart enough
Bit unkind there 😂

Footy Fix: One key change gave the Crows a sniff of all time comeback - so why on earth did they abandon it?

A weak defence Don? Carlton’s defence is as good as any other team..if not the best
Not saying they will beat Freo but Carlton’s Weitering and McGovern will match most in the air
Saad, Williams and Newman mop up very effectively
Saying that it is the one game I’m looking fwd to.
And if it’s a battle of the back lines then the coaching moves will be interesting

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Gather Round: Footy heads to Adelaide - but who will leave victorious?

Rowdy, do the Crows have a team in the local comp which their players use when not selected for the Crows
If so , then I would think that team and Port could get better opposition each week to improve their reserves in the VFL
But only a thought

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Gather Round: Footy heads to Adelaide - but who will leave victorious?

Roger, you could say just send in your dumbest player who won’t be missed if suspended but when your captain does it it’s beggars belief.
One would have thought Webster’s 8 weeks would put every player on notice to not do these head high knocks
This week will be interesting to see if the trend continues

AFL News: Tribunal verdict in for Tiger over Swan hit, Cats in the clear over Hawkins' phone use

That’s a late one Matth but never the less…I was talking more about adding youth to the squad …not past results.
Just looking to the future. Like when about 6 of them retire at once we are not exposing anyone …Bartlett excepted… to pressure cricket
But all good mate…just my humble

Forgotten opener, WA veterans snubbed in central contract shake-up as CA name 23-player list

Enjoyed those comments Wikipedia. Agree with those on Bakern as I have already said on here re punishment
We are of a similar vintage I think when you refer to long kicking, high marking etc ..when the game was more of a spectacle
Anyway, a good read

AFL News: Huge triple blow for Tigers, former greats slam Lions' Vegas story, Saint cops ban

Brought back some memories there Mike re Thomas.
I can still see his free kick tactics

Umpires' anti-Ginnivan bias has reached a new low - it's time for the AFL to step in

To that eagleJack I agree.
This year, more than others, the AFL wants head contact eradicated.
But Ginnivan’s ‘head count’ is becoming ridiculous.
Protect him or educate him

Ben, could we not think of it as a drawn game and just share the points
Or replay the match later

Mass confusion erupts over AFL 'abandoned match' rules after Easter Monday's bizarre lightning-enforced delay

I understood that’s what ScottD meant ..and it’s a fair call.
Why penalise a team who may have only been a point or so behind
Abandoned games should be sharing the points or replayed later

No not sure Frodo…I’ll check with the tribunal 😂

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

A big game 13th. Looking fwd to Piece and Curnow match up.
Plus on ball match ups……..
All over the ground actually

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

But I’d be smiling if my team was 3-0 at the start
Runs are on the board Don … not playing catch up atm

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

WRONG

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

No, not a marking contest. A blatant head knock. Not an over reaction.
He maybe lucky if it’s only a couple of weeks as suggested
Why don’t players learn…perhaps 3 or 4 weeks may get it through to him and others

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

I probably am reading too much into this one Pierro..but I guess I love to see a punt on youth
Bartlett is good news. Deserves his contract.
I look ahead when I see the contracts and think about our ageing warriors and wonder if they will drop out in one hit in a year… or sooner ..and what happens then
Time……

Thats one person who will not be getting my attention Shane……If he only wrote a decent article instead of being provocative
But I guess that’s his job

'Just bulls--t': Lions deny reports of player rift despite crisis meeting as details of wild end-of-season Vegas trip emerge

Shane , I don’t think I could read or listen to Cornes’ click baits any longer
He doesn’t have much of an opinion of people if he expects us to absorb his crap as a fact

'Just bulls--t': Lions deny reports of player rift despite crisis meeting as details of wild end-of-season Vegas trip emerge

I just think Pearce and Taylor are the lynch pins in two very good defence units which makes their work that much easier.
It’s always been , to me, get the backline really strong and organised and the team builds from there
Saying that I’d have either Pearce or Taylor a my key back…two great defenders
Like you said before Don ..Pearce could be the inaugural captain of Tassy and what a good choice it would be

Footy Fix: Freo's skipper is BACK - and he's making the Dockers' defence great again
