I agree. And to say that BB is the only logical pick for number 10 probably explains why Hamish now writes for the Roar. No reputable Rugby publication would publish this inane nonsense.

The forgotten leader Razor must pick for the All Blacks - and why it could change who wears the prized No.10 jersey

Glad to see the new season hasn’t affected your one eye Jacko. Another post where you can’t bear to mention the Crusaders. You can’t even be negative about Mounga this year.

The Wrap: Opening round of SRP a case of the more things change, the more they stay the same

I have shivered in snowstorms at Brumbies matches in midwinter. Dunedin games are played under a roof and the Crusaders games will be be too in the near future. So at the moment the cold winter games are played in Canberra and Christchurch. We Aussies need to be a little less parochial when it comes to talking about playing in the cold in the South Island in winter.

The Wrap: Opening round of SRP a case of the more things change, the more they stay the same

Hi Geoff, I can now look forward to Monday mornings again with the Wrap my first read of the day. My thoughts on the weekends games are as follows.
Chiefs Crusaders just showed how silly some commentators have been to write these two off because of their player losses since last year.
Blues Drua : Hard to judge how the Blues are going because the Drua looked very poor to me.
Reds Waratahs: The Reds looked good but I think I saw enough potential in the Tahs to suggest it would be foolish to write them off on the evidence of this match.
Hurricanes and Brumbies; Difficult to rate them on these performances as the opposition was so poor.
The Rebels and the Force will have to improve radically if they are to convince RA that they should remain in this competition.
Highlanders Moana Pasifika : Both teams showed enough to strongly suggest that they will improve on their 2023 results.

I think you are confused. Codie Taylor is 32 not 37. Dane Coles is 37 but hardly in his prime as he has retired.

'Whatever was best for the team': The accidental Wallabies captain who gave RA 'everything' for post-RWC review

I’m not sure what you have to do these days to be labelled a star but Franklin surely doesn’t qualify. He was a good super rugby lock forward who made the Maori All Blacks but a star….. not in my books.

I make it 10 wrong and 2 right. Or have I got it wrong.

Wallabies to get new skipper, Bledisloe joy and shock Rugby Championship win: XV fearless predictions for 2024

Yet Mounga was named in the team of the tournament at 10. Obviously you are far more knowledgeable than all those experts. And Dmac only played at 10 against the minnows. You have been pushing this barrow for years Jacko. Time to give it a rest.

Broken promises, sacrificial lambs and a monumental low blow - goodbye, good riddance to 2023 for Wallabies fans

How did your predictions for 2023 pan out Christy. I don’t want to be accused of a wave of negativity but some of these predictions seem to be very pie in the sky.

Wallabies to get new skipper, Bledisloe joy and shock Rugby Championship win: XV fearless predictions for 2024

It’s just surprising it took so long for a number of people to become aware of the sort of person he was .
I note that editorially The Roar was until very recently a strong supporter of him.

COMMENT: 'Best interests of the game'? Hamish's dummy spit proves RA was right to cut him loose

Do some posters on here not know the meaning of great. He is not a great player.

It’s the same old story over and over again. We over praise players who never achieve.

ANALYSIS: McLennan's fatal blind spot, and why his exit leaves Australian rugby in a better place and a worse one

You obviously don’t know the meaning of conflicted. It means you owe a duty to employers who may have conflicting views. ie the players union and Stan. To suggest that the requirements of these two organisations will always be in harmony is fantasy.

ANALYSIS: McLennan's fatal blind spot, and why his exit leaves Australian rugby in a better place and a worse one

It’s always been that it’s all about Hamish. The man is a. Classic narcissist and he was instrumental in hiring another narcissist as a coach.

'What a shame': McLennan GONE as Rugby Australia name World Cup-winner chairman to bookend wild year

Typical dipstick remark from Jacko.
Doesn’t seem to realise that Mounga was named in the team of the RWC tournament.
Still seems to think that BB is the form number 10 in NZ.

'Always knew it would get really ugly': RA chief's strange admission as World Cup budget blow out revealed

I think very unbecoming is too mild an expression Geoff.

It is totally inappropriate and illustrates why there is no future for the game here as long as that narcissist is in charge.

The Wrap: What will the Wallabies' external season review reveal that we don’t already know?

Christy still needs to justify his position !!!!

'Who cares?': Eddie has no regrets about Wallabies disaster but takes swipes at RA and media

The other chairs have seen right through him. My good sources say he is regarded as a total tosser, I can tell you for a fact that none of the 6 nations or NZ will ever vote for him.

'I'm not a quitter': Under-siege RA chair won't follow Jones, blames 'broken system' for chaos

He has definitely been lobbying for the position of Chair of World Rugby next year when Bill Beaumont’s term is up.
He is so arrogant he thinks he is in with a chance.

FAT CHANCE.

'I'm not a quitter': Under-siege RA chair won't follow Jones, blames 'broken system' for chaos

Excellent post Simon.
Personally I can’t understand the rush to appoint a new coach.
Surely we must be dealing with the appalling administration at RA [Hamish I’m looking at you] before we rush into another coach.
Does anyone trust Hamish to make a good choice of a new coach.
And if we are talking about Cheika making inappropriate comments how about the Hamster with Kumbya etc !!!!

Exclusive: Path clear for McKellar to return as Wallabies coach despite Leicester job, Cheika's update on future

I thought he might have matured in that respect but his attacking of referees decisions at the RWC just reinforces the fact that the leopard can’t change his spots.

Exclusive: Path clear for McKellar to return as Wallabies coach despite Leicester job, Cheika's update on future

Not even AI is that stupid.

Wallabies are where the All Blacks were in 2007 - it's time to look in the mirror or risk more embarrassment

Do you think any NZer would want the Wallabies coaching job after the vitriol heaped on Deans and Rennie.

Do you remember Greg Martin’s comment when Eddie was hired

“Dave Rennie had the personality of a chair, and he had results that were the worst by any Wallaby coach … and he was a Kiwi, he didn’t really care, he was just taking a payslip mate, that’s the bottom line,”

Why would any self respecting person want to subject themselves to media comments such as that.
