Did anyone catch the couple of comments from Les Kiss in the same interview? Impressive, measured, calm.

'You don't go back': Deans distances himself from Wallabies return as he echoes Waugh's comments on Jones era

cs, zoom can be a PITA, I can attest to that also.
But, is it really a stumbling block or a reason to say no to the Head Coach gig?

Exclusive: Path clear for McKellar to return as Wallabies coach despite Leicester job, Cheika's update on future

Why won’t McKellar do a zoom? Why must they “pick up a phone”? He won’t interview? What a strange thing to put in a report.

I was just using Lynagh as an example. There’s a handful of young talent that could/should be developed.

Why the Wallabies shouldn't miss out on the next Joey and try to lure Cleary for 2027 World Cup

Spend the money on developing who we have. As an example, Lynagh is not even 21, has the pedigree and has a very good skill set.

Yep. Brilliant. Well said.

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Too little, too late.

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Really, who from Channel 9 will get the gig?

Fittler's abrupt resignation leaves Blues in state of disrepair with no coach keen to take on poisoned chalice

Isn’t this as simple as looking at the Return on Investment?
ROI on a 27 year old League player or invest in multiple under 20 current Union players both make and female.
These guys s$@t me to tears.

Besieged Wallabies throw lucrative deal at Crichton in bid to lure Roosters star back to rugby - with a Super twist

This has to be a poorly timed joke.

Besieged Wallabies throw lucrative deal at Crichton in bid to lure Roosters star back to rugby - with a Super twist

I feel for some of the players. They were selected ahead of their time or above their station. Guys that are 22 or 23 now may never recover from this. But, if left to develop and mature, they could have been very good international players.
I feel like EJ has potentially destroyed some careers.

'Complete dismantling': Eddie apologises for World Cup debacle, Hoops calls out moment that summed it up

At least the inconsistency in selection is consistent.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Gordon benched as Eddie banks on Ben Donaldson, star returns for do-or-die RWC clash

Missed my point Footy Franks. Assistant coaches of the Wallabies at the moment are not experienced at the elite, Shute or Hospital cup level or even at subbies or country rugby level.
They have no experience at all in Rugby Union. What can an ex NRL prop tell the Wallaby backline about putting plays on to include your loose forwards in prep for multi phases of play?
He can’t tell them anything. He shouldn’t be there. He shouldn’t be getting paid for his expertise when he doesn’t have any.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Return of the 'Woeful Wallabies' after 'coaching failure in heat of battle' - and how high can the Fijians fly?

I’ll support the team as I have for the last 40 years.
I have trouble with every aspiring playing being handed a Wallaby kit without deserving it.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Return of the 'Woeful Wallabies' after 'coaching failure in heat of battle' - and how high can the Fijians fly?

Nongoor is not up to test match class, in SR he got dominated, how does he get on the Wallaby team?

SPIRO ZAVOS: Return of the 'Woeful Wallabies' after 'coaching failure in heat of battle' - and how high can the Fijians fly?

Sorry, Which coaches? The ex NRL prop who is looking after the wallaby backs or the ex NRL winger who is looking after the Wallaby forwards……they played Shute Shield?
Puhleeze.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Return of the 'Woeful Wallabies' after 'coaching failure in heat of battle' - and how high can the Fijians fly?

My struggle is that an ex RL Prop is now an attack coach in RU. He has never played Union.
He has no natural feel for the game or the nuances involved in back play.
He may have “book smarts” about the game, he may be an incredible communicator but geez it seems a long bow.
I hope I’m wrong.

From painting to the World Cup: Why NRL coach didn't run from Eddie's call - and how he's adding to the Wallabies

Correct me if I am wrong….and I often am, but I don’t recall any racial overtones when SBW first left the game?

NRL News: Sharpe and Badger appointed in NRL first, Agent brands NRL 'racist game' over Latrell text, Tohu in finals doubt

Agreed.

'It has been impossible': When it comes to his 'secondary' job Eddie Everywhere has been more like the invisible man

I’ll put my point another way.
EJ cannot be held responsible for every thing that goes wrong in the game. The Wallaroos have a semi professional coach. Who appointed him? Why not upgrade his contract and make him full time?
I’m a Union man, love the game.
I get sick of the pot shots though.

'It has been impossible': When it comes to his 'secondary' job Eddie Everywhere has been more like the invisible man

It seems that every time there is a story about the Wallabies, it’s about EJ. I’d love to have a review, report or insight into say….a player?

'It has been impossible': When it comes to his 'secondary' job Eddie Everywhere has been more like the invisible man

Just having pot shots at EJ for the sake of it now? Seems much more like an RA issue than an EJ issue.

C’mon. Broncs by 6…..

NRLW Round 5 Preview: Injuries, suspensions causing havoc with tight finals race going down to the wire

Surely does.

Haas rejects Wallabies and Bulldogs to remain in Brisbane - mere minutes after TPJ quits to free up cap space

Panther, that is what the salary cap is about. If the Broncs chose to pay Haas elite money, they need to develop other forwards around Haas. They need to bring good young player in through the backs.
The talent pool is shared.
The competition is evened out.
