Lets face it this was a cowardly act behind the scene while a player was not looking I would want to get the publics attention focused away from an act that if it was done on the street would probably see me in jail. Who knows what was said I hope some idiots comments weren’t a racial comment. Watching live it was impossible to make out what happened. Innocent until proven guilty

Drua 'shocked at racial abuse' as Lomani faces judiciary over Canham blow

At 52.54 and again at 71.01 Lolosio restarts the game after Reds score. Both times he clearly steps over the centre line and then kicks the ball. Clear obvious infringements. As a referee it was the first thing we were taught to look for on a kick off. There is no obstruction of view and it is a simple rule to enforce. Why are players continually getting away with this infringement?

ANALYSIS: Unbeaten Brumbies hang on against Reds as O'Connor sends timely reminder to Wallabies

It is impossible to understand the thinking of Dave Rennie in his Wallabies squad selections. Supposedly it was based on form. Having watched every fixture this year it is not possible to select 15 Brumbies and 10 Waratahs. This is some sort of absurd bias. I don’t know what he is thinking. If he believes 10 Waratahs and 15 Brumbies are better than a number of current Reds form players then he is not trying to assemble the best possible team. If he believes the potential of those peripheral players deserves a place in the squad then somebody is whispering in his ear. There are two form teams one has almost double the representation of the other what is going on? The third team which is always over represented has more players in the squad than the current Australian champions. Let’s be real this is this is not based on reality.

Possibles outmuscle the probables and show that they deserve more respect ahead of Wallabies selection

It is impossible to agree with the White move to start. He has been great as a sub but Saturday’s performance was just on par. When McDermott came on the run of SA came to an end. He has been a constant threat to oppositions and that includes the AB’s. There is no slide defence with MCDERMOTT on because if you leave a hole he will run into it. I am uncertain why commentators are continually running him down. He has been a breath of fresh air and with White as back up one of the major reason for the rise of the Wallabies

The Wrap: Wallabies rocket ahead while the Springboks are lost in space

As the rules stand I agree entirely every team should push the boundaries, if you are not going to be penalized then teams should take the advantages this gives you. England played the rules to the max as they should have because they knew they would not be penalized. New Zealand have done it for years and not been penalized other teams are now watching and pushing the boundaries of the rules. This will only stop for all teams if the referees consistently penalize these offences.

It's time for a rule change

But they do it all the time and are rarely penalized

It's time for a rule change

I wasn’t really trying to have a swipe at England it was just a general observation from a number of games. England were fresh in my mind and I saw it as an opportunity to point out what I feel is an unfair advantage. If you are offside you should not be able to play the ball, or interfere with the play.

It's time for a rule change

Unfortunately if general play has passed you by and you are moving back to an onside position more often than not you are moving through the opposition line. As happens all the time the play has gone on and not expecting an opposition player in their own line the attacking team passes the ball through players hands. If you are in the line you can grab the ball from an offside position. The rules say you must be making an attempt to get back onside. However if you slowly go back onside you will be caught in the opposition line and can then play the ball. It just allows players to lurk offside to interfere with the opposition. My argument is this should be illegal. Having refereed for a number of years I always found it unfathomable as to why an offside player could play the ball and not be penalized.

It's time for a rule change

Having refereed for a number of years you pay it as you see it. No amount of criticism will change your mind and often gets your back up and you become more critical of those complaining. It is a difficult job and everyone makes mistakes. It can effect the outcome but that is the game you can’t play without a referee. The game was not lost because of any referee’s decision. It was lost because of 2 major reasons. Both were decision making calls. Cheika decided that his mates should start and that he should show loyalty to those mates. This is seen over and again in Australian rugby. Junior players not given an opportunity because they did not go to the right school or had no connections. Then a mindset that you must stick to those players you have chosen. There was no justification for Foley and Adam Ashley Cooper being in the squad let alone start. Both in patches have had solid careers. There are much better alternatives but they have been denied the opportunity because of Cheika’s mindset, look after the boys he has relied upon in the past. Cheika is a talented coach his record speaks of that but of late his decision making has become clouded at best. The second poor decision and one that certainly lost Australia the game was Hooper’s. Wales had just given away 3 penalties near to their own try line. Any referee would be looking at a yellow card on a fourth. Momentum was all in Australia’s favour. A kick to touch 5 meters out would have kept up pressure on Wales and the referee if another penalty was awarded. There was 14 minutes to go to if things didn’t go right still plenty of time to recover. But the easy option was taken. Penalty goal. All the pressure went off Wales and Australian did not get momentum back and the game was lost.

Wales withstand Wallabies' second-half fightback

If you go back to the line out the ball was caught in front of the five meter line and this play should never have happened. It should have been Australian ball. I am not certain what the complaint is against Hodge. His clear intent was to tackle the player his arms come up to complete the tackle but the sheer size of the opposition player sent him flying. There have been at least 4 other tackles in other games that have been much worse, the latest in the Ireland Scotland game. This seems to be a beat up.

Reece Hodge cited for high tackle

For to long Genia has kicked the ball away and his slow delivery from the back of the breakdown has been frustrating to watch. It was a breathe of fresh air to see the Wallabies retain possession under Nick White’s direction. It gave both the forwards and backs an opportunity to show just what they can achieve when the opposition had so little time to react. He got in at the back of the rucks quickly and left the All blacks second guessing what was to come next. It gave the outside backs some much needed one on one ball and the Wallabies showed what they were capable of doing. As good a player as Genia has been it would be a step backward to start him again. In the short time he was on he kicked the ball away twice and gave possession back. It is hard to build momentum when you kick the ball away and have to immediately defend. I cant remember when the Wallabies played such an attacking game. I hope they build on what is obviously the right game style and give us fans something to cheer about.

All Blacks only see the red in a Wallabies bolt from the blue

Wow to all the haters of David Warner you certainly want to throw him under the bus. It would appear you all know him personally and he deserves all he gets. But wait he is no more guilty than the Smith or Bancroft in fact Smith is the captain and if there was a problem should have sorted it out. If Warner gets a life ban from leadership duties then so should Smith. In fact in the interest of justice he should have appealed and had the whole thing thrown out. Precedent is followed in the courts and if such minor penalties are handed to others then he would have been given a reduced penalty. Why is Warner more to blame than the others. Just because Smith appears to have more fans doesn’t make it either right or fair for Warner to shoulder all the blame. Warner is being treated differently and that is down right unfair

Time for Cricket Australia to end the Smith, Warner and Bancroft bans

No Moore should be replaced. The problem is the soft and obvious penalties he gives away. These penalties are demoralizing and put the team on the back foot. He has been a tremendous player but he should now retire.

The extent of the turnaround is what makes Bledisloe 2 loss sting so much

The first thing the Wallabies must change is there attitude. Whining and complaining about everything is just not a way to succeed. Stephen Moore has been a great player but his massive attitude change constantly complaining to the referee seems to have developed a team attitude of being deserving of more. Moore must go, that is a complete given. A captain must not only lead from the front but with an upbeat attitude that all can relate to, including the referee. The line out must be addressed ball cannot be thrown away so consistently. Surely they can go back to basics in the line out, throw to 2 or 4 jump high bring the ball to ground, All the movement in the line out is not working 5 man line outs except for set piece close to the try line.

Then wrap and hold in the tackle, the tackling skills have been sadly lacking. Back to basics, wrap and hold bring to ground.

Then we can look at bringing some of the developing players into the team and look to build a team for the future. AI few test matches at the higher intensity will build confidence. I feel we are defeated before we even walk onto the field.

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for the Springboks?

There is plenty of depth in Queensland if only the QRU would do something about it. Two years ago my son played in the State Championships. There were some outstanding young players all of whom are now lost to union. It would appear the criteria to be selected is if you are at a rugby school you get selected. All those playing club rugby are basically ignored. As a result two years later five players have been signed to NRL teams. If rugby officials scouted those at club level and kept them in the game then the pool would grow substantially. If all games at under 14 level and above were scouted on a regular basis then potential players could be identified and scholarships offered to develop those players. Problem solved, but there appears no will or interest to create a larger pool of suitable players. The easy option of looking at the rugby schools only where money is no concern, leaves all those who cannot afford to pay to play at the higher levels out of the game Or worse switching codes.

Has Australian rugby reached a tipping point?

Stephen Moore seems to be a likable captain however he seems to repeat the same things. You have to wonder when the referee repeatedly asks the captain to have a word to the players, why the captain doesn’t call all the players together and lay down the law. At the very worst the referee will see you are serious about addressing a particular issue he has concerns about. The other problem I have with approaching the referee is to often they are approached for no particular reason. If I have a problem with an issue that is occurring for example the head roll tackles I would be repeatedly pointing them out. When times get tough on the field the captain should be setting the direction of the play. The repeated bashing into the brick wall is not working the captain should call for a change in playing style. They train for many varied plays but Saturdays game plan was all about trying to bash down a brick wall and when that didn’t work no one appeared to have an alternative. Rugby is supposed to be the thinking man’s game, it would appear Australia is subscribing to a Rugby League bash and crash mentality. Time for a captains call and change game style. The reality is that Australia has the players to win test matches, with a little imagination and on field direction they will.

When it comes to the Wallabies, it's the hope that gets you

The jury has returned, guilty of being not up to the task of coaching what was an elite AFL club

Lock it in: Bucks and Eddie, it's time to go

Football is a business. When you have an inept CEO you replace them with someone who will return your company to profit. In the AFL world success is measured on the field. By this measure BIuckley should have been replace two years ago. Collingwood are slow, play a rigid game strategy, that is easy to counter and appear to be unable to think outside the box. There is no way forward and sadly Collingwood will continue to languish at the bottom of the ladder.

Lock it in: Bucks and Eddie, it's time to go

Love Collingwood, loved Bucks as a player but they look inept. Can’t hit a target and worse no targets are being offered. School boy teams look better. There appears to be no systems in place to move the ball or if there is it is not being implemented. We were supposed to be team building but it appears we are team decimating. The Qld Reds coach a great bloke but not a great coach fell on his sword and almost immediately the team improved. No extra players just an attitude change. At the present time ego appears to be more important than the club. Time for change one way or another

Will Nathan Buckley see out the 2016 campaign as Collingwood coach?
