I actually think the Brumbies look even better this then they did last its just something has clicked for this Reds team this year should be another cracking game, that is if the Brumbies can even make the final. 😛

Get your questions in for Issue 8 of Coach's Corner

Hi Nic, with the TT going ahead can you do a breakdown of the top teams from each side of the Tasman and give us your thoughts on who will be the team most likely to succeed?

His tackle on Samu aside, his defence doesn’t seem up to standard.

Hodge done for Super Rugby season after injuring knee

Is there no rule about protecting the planted leg of a kicker?

Maybe whoever has been working with Petaia’s mental strength should help with Maddox next. Maddox without the yips is absolutely who I would want at 15 but he is playing so poorly this year can’t catch a high ball to save himself.

Hodge done for Super Rugby season after injuring knee

Adam Ashley-Cooper made a fine and in the end extended Wallaby career from being a utility. Hodge will be around for awhile yet.

Reds only have the Force match left in the regular season have already played the Tahs twice.

Hooper is a shit Captain, but to be fair I don’t think it would’ve matter who held the title during that time they would have come away with a very similar W/L record as the team can only play the dumb tactics they have been given.

The Reds can beat the Crusaders

Hodge brings utility cover to the bench for a few positions which means Rennie could carry a bench specialist back like Noah or god forbid they try and cap Vunivalu. I think we can cover whatever strength Hodge brought with those already in the team, Nick White has a thumping boot and is a pretty decent long range goal kicker. We are pretty lucky in the fact that the backline likely to get selected can play multiple positions each so should be able to cover injuries whilst blooding in Noah.

Hard luck not sure he would be in the run on side but he would’ve factored into the 23.

I must have blinked as I missed that.

Brad Thorn says the 'Lomu rule' applies to Jordan Petaia

Fa’amausili was schooled on Friday in the scrum I don’t think he is anywhere near test standard yet, it’s not like he is bossing anyone at Super level.

Brad Thorn says the 'Lomu rule' applies to Jordan Petaia

He needs to string a couple of games together like this one and he is back in wallabies contention.

Shute Shield pfft the Hospital Cup teams would smash those pretenders. Also I thought the Waratahs had the bye this week.

Force head home with Super Rugby finals in sight

Looking at the run home both the Rebels and Force play the Tahs and either the Brums or Reds. You would think the Rebels are still in the box seat with their bonus point so the Force are going to have to pick up atleast a bonus point win and bonus point loss just to be in the running. If the Tahs play like they did last week vs Rebels its not gimme win.

Why not they did it for Folau?

Coach's Corner Issue 7: What position for Petaia?

Biggest game of the season for the Reds so you don’t rest your key players and there is no way Smith has leap frogged him so you would have to think he is in the naughty chair.

Super Rugby AU Round 8 teams: Liam comes Wright onto the Queensland bench to face Brumbies

Probably has alot to do with Geoff Parling’s involvement in the coaching setup over at the Rebels, but also what you said. 👍

Wallabies get major boost as key second-rower returns to Australia

Is Uru eligible?

Wallabies get major boost as key second-rower returns to Australia

The 6 nations has seen those home nations and France take points of each other to the extent that if the wallabies clean sweep a depleted French team we will rise up to 3rd in the rankings which is a bit rediculous.

Wallabies get major boost as key second-rower returns to Australia

I think of those available he would be the best LO caller we would have with the exception of maybe Rodda.

Wallabies get major boost as key second-rower returns to Australia

Fantastic news with LSL being less than this season Phillip fills the enforcer lock role well, plus we need him calling the LO for the Wallabies.

Wallabies get major boost as key second-rower returns to Australia

I think Uru might start being used as a super sub for HW@8 or LSL@5 depending on team requirements.

Good luck with that you would be better off chasing Tizzano

I don’t think JP is a defensive liability in any position if anything it is now his strongest assets. He is definitely not the weekest defender at wing for the Reds this weekend.
