Why would anybody want to take a leaf out of the spring boks book. They beat a 14 man All Blacks team in the final by only one point, I would certainly not be over exuberant I would certainly not think that was an amazing feat and I would certainly not be over proud of that fact. At the end of the day a couple of very dodgy decisions and some mist what would normally be easy kicks gave them that when on a platter. Not the way I would ascribe my rugby team to want to play

Scrap the Giteau Law: Rugby Australia should look to Rassie's 'Boks RWC recipe if it wants to re-join the big boys' table

Massive problems, to me the first thing they need to do when they get that structural problem sorted out is promotion you never see rugby union promoted on TV free to air always AFL rugby league netball cricket to its eyeballs… Wonder why very minor percentage takes any interest in it at all. even the news channels continually promoting NRL AFL hard to grow when hardly anybody knows you are there.

'Previous chairman can not be a scapegoat': First salvo fired in bid to spill the Rugby Australia board

And that would definitely be the death now for Super Rugby

'It's time we grew up': The jarring hypocrisy that proves All Blacks are getting key call all wrong

In a nutshell Don

Nothing against Christie but I tend to agree at least with roygard on the park his running game puts the defence and a lot of indecisive moments allowing the fly half a bit more time something any decent fly half needs, definitely think McKenzie’s looking better this year although he does need space

Super Rugby competition I’m watching at the moment I’m seeing some pretty damn good rugby, for something that keeps copping such a hiding I think it’s doing pretty well, ABS coming out of that losing a World cup final with only 14 men by a mere one penalty kick stacks up pretty solidly when they all came from Super Rugby.

Agreed definitely not the Wallabies, that would be a far more intense microscope, accompanied by an exponentially larger flac potential. IMO Japan would be the best option. Wish him all the luck.

'That's one of the options': Foster admits Test coaching return possible as he reacts to Wallabies link

I believe a lot of the abuse towards TMo was on the fact that the penalty against Ardie was not overturned whereas the try after the knock on was. Every team has had its complaints re the tmos and most with good reason, still it comes down to human frailty, unfortunately Perfection can be only found in Mr hindsight.

'Just a game, k---heads': Why world's top rugby ref has decided to give the game away

One area where rugby league is more organised the coaches cop big monetary fines if they abuse the refs and officials, either on field or in post match pressers.

'Just a game, k---heads': Why world's top rugby ref has decided to give the game away

Yes they do bliksem and unfortunately they are breeding.

'Just a game, k---heads': Why world's top rugby ref has decided to give the game away

Such a shame two of the best have now retired, very unfortunate the over obscene vitriolic attitude of some who unfortunately seem to have the loudest voice. Don’t blame him for retiring nobody wants to have cop that s*** for themselves
and certainly not for their family, and sure as hell shouldn’t have to. There is no low low enough for that. Tmo’s power definitely needs to be restricted to dangerous actions at the very least. And be there to observe and add best possible scrutinization when requested by the referee.

I think you have to try harder Paolo under the circumstances it’s a big mountain to climb

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

Disagree if the finals aren’t entertaining what’s the point of watching them, then where does all the future revenue come from to support the game. Yep sport is about winning but it’s also about entertainment

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

My thoughts exactly expo, especially in the instances of an accidental penalty. I can’t understand though the 3 points necessary for punishment for illegal foul play, definitely one point only for field goals. Bloody ridiculous that games can be won by playing kickfests. Then it just becomes a game of boring force backs. Rather watch ball in hand rugby any day. Is that after all not what World Rugby is trying to achieve, a better entertainment spectacle.

Same, didn’t walk out but was sh#####g my pants waiting for a penalty against ABs. Definitely a lot easier and more enjoyable to watch second time

RWC News: 'Take some gas out of that bomb' - ABs' response to Bok weapon who's 'some human', twist in Bongi slur saga

The only reason the English South Africa game was edge of your seat entertainment was because it was so close, and obviously detrimental as to who went thru to the final. Was certainly not due to the quality of play. As an abs fan my interest was to see who we were playing in that final. The Ireland All Blacks game was by far a better rugby spectacle, multiple double digit phase play, making for a much more exciting game with plenty of tries. That is the game of rugby I would by far prefer to watch. Sad to see cynical play, milking penalties, errant water boys, with endless stoppages. The aforementioned definitely need to be culled, refs need to be a little bit more liberal with scrums,if they see the ball coming out or close to it play needs to continue, obviously taking into consideration safety of the players. Looking forward to a fantastic final with hopefully minimal disruptions.

Rugby’s descent into cynical play: Why neutral fans should back the All Blacks for the good of the game

Definitely sounds like a misunderstanding when you look at the Africaans language, the comment also makes perfect sense in that situation.

England's Curry accused Bongi Mbonambi of vile racial insult - but Boks fans have alternative explanation

They definitely did Frank, also added one hell of a lot more speculation and excitement to the whole cup, and both certainly could have gone through. Made for probably the best World cup spectacle yet

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

I just hope you’re not backing the abs now Ken, just going by what happened to your last four pics

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Generally happens when the score blows out, and the game goes beyond salvage.

All Blacks' alpha flex that summed up massive gulf as Argies 'humiliated' in 'embarrassingly bad' RWC semi

Nice to have that clarification Harry, that comment did seem a bit out of left field to me.

I hear you JN, I guess the ref only gets abused when it doesn’t help you’re team. It’s a no win situation. I think under the pressure cauldron atmosphere of both games both refs did a, as someone put it, a very brave job.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

I agree I believe they did that pre- a Welsh game and copped s*** load of negative publicity for it. But yeah I think it’s a great spectacle, if the Irish or English don’t want it fine. Maybe just don’t make them watch it. Was great to see the French response for it.Go the abs and go the Haka.
