I agree I believe they did that pre- a Welsh game and copped s*** load of negative publicity for it. But yeah I think it’s a great spectacle, if the Irish or English don’t want it fine. Maybe just don’t make them watch it. Was great to see the French response for it.Go the abs and go the Haka.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

I think a lot of people were underestimating the ABS, can’t really blame them on their most recent history, you don’t have to look too far back to when they played with full squads to see it far different team.

While I was for a while concerned I never thought Abs were out of the picture, especially after Jo’burg and mount Smart showing what they were capable of, without the extrenuating factors of yellow cards red card injuries and Susie. A couple of winks at Twickenham certainly had me wondering if there was something more going on. Roll on the Semm’s fingers crossed for the final.

A possible letdown spot: Can the All Blacks overcome the dreaded complacency shadow against Argentina?

Damn right ma man moaman

Good, the Bad, the Eddie: Bok hails AB for 'best display I've ever seen', Kolbe confounds, 'classless' Rieko claim

I thought BOK did a pretty good job. Definitely kept the game flowing especially whilst under a lot of pressure, yes quokka should have been penalized for hands on the ground not sure of BOK had a good visual aspect and should well have been picked up by the touchy, Ebens grab at the ball definitely went backwards though does that make it acceptable.

Next thing that wokusts will want it banned like sweet Caroline. Personally I don’t think it was sung for any other reason than the fact it is usually sung at big rugby games v England, surley English fans wouldn’t be so blatantly racist, sad if I’m wrong.

Good, the Bad, the Eddie: Bok hails AB for 'best display I've ever seen', Kolbe confounds, 'classless' Rieko claim

If you’re gonna give it out you’re going to get it back it’s just unfortunate that these moments reap most of the attention, nicely blown up and capitalised on by journalists and the media.

As you say Geoff there will be two cracking quarterfinals, the other two will be interesting in their own right, and yes obviously the best teams will get to the final. Don’t feel there is anything wrong with the length of the World cup I’m enjoying several weeks of good quality rugby, will be a shame to see it end. Glad the plight of tier 2 and Pacific nations teams has come to the fore, hot contention this year between four teams, who knows next World cup might be six or seven teams. Fantastic for World Rugby.

Parkes Life: The joke's on us - could it be that World Rugby knew what they were doing all along?

Yep apparently a foregone conclusion AA, just hoping it speaks volumes for more motivation for the ABs.

World Cup team of the pool stage: Irish domination, minnows surprise, one Wallaby makes the cut

Trouble is how much money are they going to make from the lions tour, they’ve ve got to do some real quick rebuilding after the fiasco of this world cup, which could have gone alot deeper with better selection and a cohesive team not a team playing like the baa baas. Cos in my mind the poor selection was pretty much the icing on the cake

'Right people in right roles': QRU break silence on RA's reform hopes, back review into Wallabies' RWC flop

Good article in so far as the facets of junior codes organisation wise and cost-effectivness, I’m unsure what’s considered ball in play with league, because when a player is tackled and goes to ground to me the game stops until he gets up and plays the ball.

Rugby union vs rugby league: A footy dad's 'little experiment'

Yeah I thought the quote little old ireland was a bit desperate myself.

'S--t Richie': Ireland embracing 'biggest challenge in rugby' against 'hurting' All Blacks in RWC QF after THAT sledge

Whatever happens with the politics and centralisation there has to be free to air rugby. At the moment all the kids growing up idolising their stars, Thursday night Friday night Saturday night Sunday night, and the only stars they see are either in AFL or rugby league. AFL in all the junior schools offering free caps AFL balls and backpacks. So I needs to be a massive injection of money but that’s where the future is the kids

Time for revolution: A hostile takeover of Australian rugby, led by Twiggy, is the only thing that will save it

I think the abs have to dominate you can’t just match parity, and definitely need to put the jackal on wherever possible, if you don’t all you’re doing is playing a defensive game the opposition knows you’re only defending gives them more time to set up their attack. Defenses are major part but if you’re not going to attack you’re basically giving the opposition free reign to just pick holes wherever and whenever they can and ireland are the goods at doing that. The abs have managed to dominate in the few tests where they’ve had a full squad, no injuries or cards. The likes of frizzell Lomax dGroot Newell Leicester Talea BB at 12 all know how to break the line which puts the defense under massive pressure, also roigard’s ability to data around the ruck scrum probe through the centre keeps the defense nice and close. Should be a cracker of a game.

'S--t Richie': Ireland embracing 'biggest challenge in rugby' against 'hurting' All Blacks in RWC QF after THAT sledge

Fully agree Geoff, way to much unnecessary involvement by tmo, should be questionable tries and danger factor only. All they are managing to do is slow the game down running the spectacle

The Wrap: Wallabies are on their way home - can they please take the TMOs with them?

Yeah damn, that’s a really big call. Devastating

Parkes Life: 'Can't lift, can't throw' - Wallabies' comical ineptitude just part of a strange World Cup trend

Hoping to see more of LF in the Uruguay game and hope Blackadder gets a run, and agree with other comments that defensive line HAS to step up be and more dominant, as much of the set pieces that’s where the games are being controlled at

WORLD VIEW: 'Awake and angry' ABs produce 'total carnage' in 'statement and spectacle' win - but Ireland great reveals flaw

I’m sorry but you can’t claim bragging rights over a team down to 14 men most of the game and 13 at one stage, excuses bollocks, plus injuries, full squad back now, let the games begin, hopefully they won’t be defined by red cards

Mamma Mia! All Blacks almost hit a ton against Italy to make World Cup statement as Smith scores hat-trick

I think you’re getting a bit excited putting England number four

RWC Top 10 power rankings week 3: Irish go top, French drop and see ya later Wallabies

The players are all professionals grown men I don’t think they suddenly gonna drop their pants because the coach may be talking to another country Post World cup, end of the day they’re gonna go out there and try their bloody hardest, they just didn’t seem to have much idea on where to go or what to do when they got there.

RWC News: 'Blink rate goes bizarre' - Human lie detector studies Eddie, Hansen wants Brumbies-Rebels merger, Dupont upbeat

Definitely the coach matters, you got a heap a good players on the field today who all seem lost running around in circles, no flow no organisation definite lack of experience, I’m an abs supporter but definitely feel bad for the Wallabies.

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

Know how you feel Lebowski, as an all-in ABS supporter suffering the frustration of mixed match positions and selections for way too long, good luck!!davej

WORLD VIEW: Wallabies' 'outwitted, outfought, outclassed' as Eddie 'trashes their whole World Cup strategy'

Try explaining it to anyone who knows what the outcome will be

'We'll compare it': Foster suggests inconsistent ruling after de Groot's red card, 24 hours after French star gets off

Yep, the first real challenge for Wallabies, I think Fiji will be fired up after their loss to Wales

Revealed: The bloody ear that has proved a Rugby World Cup headache as Wallabies seek lineout fix

Definitely need to release leceister the beast, and please bring Finau in if frizzell is not ready, ABS need that combative go forward, Scott b can’t do it all on his own.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Skelton a force of nature, All Blacks' strategic error that has put their World Cup in peril
