I wish Hook the best. It was never going to be an easy task with that evolving roster and bringing the young guns through. The team has played with heart this year, which suggests the team is motivated. The problem is that the skill level has been lacking and the game plan can be improved.
Sullivan is a superstar. Sloan could be a superstar but first he needs to learn how to catch and tackle.

Sullivan was our best player and is our big hope for the future. He has superstar written all over him. He looks more bulked up than ever and his speed is still incredible. Hopefully he stays humble and focused and goes on to realize his full potential.

Amone has been poor so far, but the Dragons should play Sullivan and Amone together before they let Amone go. Amone and Hunt are not a good combo, but Sullivan and Amone may be.

Dropping Lomax is the right call. Assume Max Feagai will replace him. Would like to see Sullivan in the team again asap. When Sua and Frank Molo return the team will be looking better and winning the games it has been losing.

The two players who I find the most disappointing are Lomax and Suli. They are both on top dollar. Neither ever makes a break. Furthermore, neither passes the ball to their winger. Ravalawa and Feagai only see the ball on kick returns. If Lomax does pass, whether it is a flick or a conventional pass, he has awful passing skills. His defence is also poor. I would be trading out of both Lomax and Suli and bringing Max Feagai in to the team to see what he can do. Unfortunately, both Sullivan and Sloane are not yet NRL ready. They both make a number of errors per game, which is to be expected. They should and will persist with both, but they should also bring Amone back into the team. Hunt should start the game at hooker, then could switch to lock when opposition teams get tired and Liddle comes on. Sullivan and Amone should be the halves at this stage to prepare for the future.

That is some error in judgement. My estimation of Craig Young has plummeted. He has done his reputation irreparable damage. He must resign.

In fact, without the illegal play Ravalawa probably scores, so why no penalty try? Because it’s the Dragons is probably the correct answer.
