Just shows how stupid Fyfe was playing last week, he is starting to miss a few games through hamstrings. Weber should have gone years ago, just look at his record.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 7

No excuses but if the Eagles can’t beat Freo with out there best three key tall defenders, Pearce, Hamling and Logue. Chuck in Hogan and Fyfe who are pretty handy it would have to be a huge embarrassment if they don’t win by five goals. In saying that Freo could cause a huge upset because the eagles are on a downward trend.

I thought Fyfe rushed playing last week, he says his hamstring is not right yet. Is he playing ducks and drakes ?

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Colyer has not played as a mid. Purely a forward. Longmuir has said he won’t play players out of position, Blakely failed in defence under Lyon and was dropped last year.

Very true, I reckon you really nailed him this time.

Love to see you write a article later in the year on the Lyon era at Freo. I have had 4 articles rejected sadly and I give up. Even wrote one on the Roar footy team of 2018 you and Josh in the back pockets you might remember. Dumbfounded why they wouldn’t print it.

The doggies backline is very ordinary to say the least !

The last time Carlton were in the top eight

Carlton have absolutely no chance of making the eight. They are unlikely to play in Melbourne for a long time just for starters .There performance against St Kilda was dismal at best, even a undermanned Freo team who lost two in the first half accounted for them. They won’t win a game in a hub in Perth. But you have to hope of course. There still the Carlton of old and the heat will arrive for Teague sooner than later.

The last time Carlton were in the top eight

We were discussing Lyon not Freo supporters. It is about members as well 83% of club members supported Ross getting the sack. The president and club Legends Bell, Mann, O’reilly, McManus, Haselby and others were all in favour of moving him on. It is clearly not just about supporters.

Really miss the Cat and our little chats ! He wasn’t much into fairness, he thought the Cats got a raw deal with the fixtures.

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Like wise Dalgety Carrington down Freo way disappeared, although it did appear to be a Don Freo version. Maybe he can shed a light for us, they were really buddies.

When it comes to Lyon you are in a very, very small minority who thought he was doing a good job. After the renovation he introduced failed immensely and being a boring defensive coach who prided himself in defence conceded 23 unanswered goals against Geelong was inexcusable. He should have been sacked way before but of course it would have come at a cost him being wrongfully contracted.Move on Don the big black cloud above Freo has gone and the ghost has gone.

Love to see Blakely in as well, he will get his chance he did not help his cause it is nothing to do with Longmuir, it dates back to the Lyon / Neale issue.

Gee really Liam is that you AD, I only just found out going into the photo. Better looking than I imagined.

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Well said 13th as a young fella as Don called you in nappies your knowledge of the Freo footy club and game day reports leave him for dead, you call it as you see it and you were onto Lyon a long time ago and we even got young AD to see it eventually.

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Your right Liam, Lyon was frustrating to listen to. Absolutely Arrogant and simply a bloody know all. Longmuir is refreshing and honest and down to earth.Lyon put the club back years and was rightly Sacked !

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Good point Parkside ! Good on ballers can read the opposition’s ruck taps. That is exactly what great players especially Dangerfield, Selwood, Cotchin and Shuey did for years when Sandilands was playing. Ruck taps are irrelevant most of the time.

Six talking points from AFL Round 6

Just because players wives have children or are pregnant I can’t see any harm it will do there husbands in a hub.

Hawkins and Riewoldt admit they’re uneasy about hubs

Try again, just over 100 have died with Covid in there system. Not all of course but most AFL players have had a charmed life, a couple of weeks in a hub won’t do any harm.

Hawkins and Riewoldt admit they’re uneasy about hubs

I don’t know what the pandemic has got to do with it. It has killa touch over 100 people over Sixty

Summed it up perfectly Scott.

Personally i couldn’t care less but I agree with Caro a tiger fan like you and I agree with her not you.

I thought Jack was going ? Cotchin is he going ? if not what’s his excuse.
