The bookies have JD at $1.85 to kick 3 or more. He’ll likely go close.

An open letter to Joe Daniher

Perhaps John. While I don’t necessarily disagree with you, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on probable crowd numbers for each event though? I’d imagine that a Lions GF at the Gabba would draw near capacity on the day. Could the same be said for the Shield final? Most likely get roughly the same total crowd figure, but over the several days of the shield match. Therefore a lot more cost to provide the services etc. The shield final would struggle to fill AB field on a daily basis.

2021 AFL Women's finals series: Week 2 preview

No. It was your second statement.
Go ahead and put 10c on your top 8 prediction. You’ll be a millionaire by spring. 😂 😂

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 3

Ol’ Jplane dropped a few balls in his brief and failed NFL career.. he better hope his hands haven’t left him altogether.. particularly in the big house lockeroom. In for some nasty surprises I’d reckon!

Jarryd Hayne facing jail term after being found guilty of sexual assault

Izzy in the red V.. Wow.
I’m surprised the pies haven’t pursued him to have a go at it down south.

Israel Folau is reportedly on the verge of an NRL comeback

The bigger news is the potential signing of Folau for two years. Drags are on a headline grab at present!

McInnes to leave Dragons for NRL rivals

Gotta say it’s a wise move bailing out of the dragons set up. Ballsy given the destination, but wise.

McInnes to leave Dragons for NRL rivals

I think the old dog has one last trick up his sleeve. And with a home ground advantage of sorts, an obvious positivity and irrepressible wave of momentum behind them, I can see the underdog Bucs overwhelming the fancied. But not by more than a field goal. Should be a belter.

Who will win Super Bowl LV?

I’m not sure Ed possesses one grain of humility in his trait locker Kevo.
In fact I’m convinced he doesn’t.

Eddie McGuire's trainwreck of a spin job only reinforces damning Collingwood report

Well done to India. Totally schooled Oz in so many facets of the game. The deepest cut for mine in this loss, is the Gabba record being stymied. Something this team of Baggy Green wearers should be ashamed of really.

Rishabh Pant masterclass guides India to incredible fourth Test win at the Gabba

Nah.. he truly was.
As far as transcending one’s sport, he was the greatest at that too!

Diego: A genius unbound

Ali will always be the greatest.
Fed doesn’t belong in that company imo. Bolt would be right up there with the big guns. Right up there.
Which begs the question.. should the new fastest man on the planet JAC get a mention?!

Diego: A genius unbound

Love what the guy did for Napoli. Sadly the nose candy got the better of him. Hopefully his torment can be a lesson for future stars.

Tributes pour in for Diego Maradona after football legend's death

Well he is known for his low blows..

'S--t, who cares?' Paul Gallen says there's no pressure on him at all ahead of fight with Mark Hunt

On the contrary.. I think two heads would confuse Gal.

'S--t, who cares?' Paul Gallen says there's no pressure on him at all ahead of fight with Mark Hunt

I personally don’t see anyone surpassing Smiths achievements in the game. At least not for sometime anyway, perhaps even a lifetime.
Having said that.. I’d love if Harry did!

All hail the new kings of Melbourne

Carlos.. you should know better.. Argentinas population is largely made up of European blood. Spanish blood accounting for much of what courses though your veins. How many indigenous Argies play for the Pumas? Probably none, ever.
At what point in time did it become OK, for Europeans to turn around and say to eachother.. we’re argies now?

Wallabies record second draw of the year as Argentina clash ends all square

The question is Richie.. how and why were the blues not up for it. It’s a decider. At probably the best rugby stadium in the country. Full of fans baying for blood. How can you not rise to that occasion?

NSW relapses: We don't understand Origin again

It might be worth you having a read about what Chris Hoy and his teammates think of Steve Peters. Hoy knows a shedload full of pedals more about it than I do.
Sure, all the training, money, facilities etc does help.. but tapping into the scone.. that’s a legitimate and proven performance enhancer when handled right. I’d say it’s a pretty widely accepted notion and long practiced too.
Freddy needs Steve.

NSW relapses: We don't understand Origin again

Some insightful sport related commentary from the Seinfeld set there… with a twist of zealotry. Too cute the irony. ????

NSW relapses: We don't understand Origin again

That quote is scarily true.. and across all aspects of life too. ‘I want’ motivates the mind and body to go and get. ‘I expect’ lulls the mind and body to sit back and wait.
Maybe Freddy needs to employ that sports shrink the British cycling team have employed for the past few Olympic cycles. He extracts those tiny percentages through rewiring the brain. Maybe a tougher task with some footy players though.. as grey matter isn’t always their strong suit!!

NSW relapses: We don't understand Origin again

Agree Nelson. Bennett did a stellar job on the whole. His zen like calm under pressure seems to have rubbed off on many of those he’s coached. A true master at blending youth and experience as you’ve suggested.
There was a fair whack of talent unavailable to him as well, which makes Fittlers job next year all the more challenging. He seriously missed a trick this year, and that may well come back to haunt him. Just like Harry will for years to come!

Maroons topple the Blues in the Suncorp fortress once again

Freddy has some soul searching to do following this series. He needs to change something in his selection process. Blues were extremely fortunate not to be embarrassed in Brisbane. Their defence for the most part and Vals hands kept them within sight, but it was a pretty comprehensive win across the park.
By the sounds of it, the crowd also played their part in lifting the Maroons. How good was it to see a near capacity stadium!

Maroons topple the Blues in the Suncorp fortress once again

Glad you’ve muddled your way through it Sporacle

Jai Arrow: "I'm not a grubby player"

Don’t get your knickers in a twist Andy. We can’t all agree in this space. Life goes on. Teddy lives to fight another day. Next year perhaps.
