Yes!! I’ve been watching Bloke for a couple of years now. Absolutely fantastic content, and one of the shining lights of the online community around the game

Outfoxxed: Addo-Carr stood down from Kangaroos after Knockout brawl, Edwards finally gets rep chance

Seib-Ball has a bit more punch. Not much, but it has some. 😂

ANALYSIS: Manly down Dragons to keep hopes alive in DCE's 300th as Carr blows up deluxe at Bunker

Completely agree Albo. Salmon makes no sense to me, as far as I’m concerned he has no spot and I don’t see him doing much outside of Penrith. Shows in his couple of games of Parra beforehand. Similar feeling on Taaffe, though at least he’s played consistent FB? Just bizarre

NRL News: Dogs could poach Rooster, SOS from the Sharks, Holmes on Tigers humbling

Aware it hasn’t been mentioned in the article yet, but if Salmon and Taaffe, as well as SST to the Dogs is happening, I have to ask just what is going on? In addition to RFM and Sutton leaving. Where is Salmon going to play? Has Taaffe played 7 in 1sts/reserve grade consistently? SST feels weird for the price and length. Just can’t get my head around the club at the moment

NRL Transfer Centre: Roosters centre given immediate release, Souths swoop for Manly prop, Tigers lock down key rookie

Ahh, I see now. Ricky’s mastery of prose flew over my head in this case!

Kings of the jungle: How Panthers can emulate 1980s Eels and ‘90s Broncos to become a modern dynasty

The Dogs have signed Jaeman Salmon? When did this happen?

They’ll only be getting jeers from myself as a ‘Dogs fan. The underdog story is compelling but it’s Parramatta, long may their drought reign 😛

Stuck in neutral? Three reasons to cheer – or jeer – Parramatta in the NRL grand final

I thought I’d seen a comment from you here earlier! Seems the admin are getting touchy now.

If in doubt, sack an assistant coach or two: NRL’s new scapegoats when teams underachieve

Agreed on absolutely needing to win these first two. I hope Creedence Toia gets a crack at some stage this year, he looks like a good, strong outside back that could displace Okunbour

NRL Round 1 team lists Late Mail: TPJ out of Dogs opener, Brimson doubtful for Titans

TPJ’s got some trial form behind him, but Hetherington’s my pick. Probably sending Dearden into space around the 36th minute mark

Schoupp out for Burns is unbelievable to me, let alone that Okunbour is still there. And of course Barrett is sticking to the continually fruitless Averillo at 7 experiment. If our forward pack can hold its discipline (as much as one can hope) we’re still a decent shout, imo

TPJ just never learns it seems, he’s gonna be frustrating to watch all year. Burton looked great and our pack was getting into attacking field position, but lacking the class in the spine to make use of it atm.

NRL Trials: 'What is he thinking?' Brandy fumes as Pangai loses plot in loss to Sharks

My thoughts on the Bulldogs last night;
– None of our halves looked remotely confident in attack. Averillo still isn’t a halfback.
– Dufty looks like a good addition attack-wise, can’t wait to see him and Burton.
– Max King and Josh Cook really put their hands up for the 17. Granted Cook mostly played against second stringers
– TPJ still needs to realise that sometimes, the pass isn’t on

NRL Trials: Reading too much into Newcastle vs Bulldogs, so you don’t have to

If I remember right, he has a fairly strong affinity for France due to his time at Catalans. Seems like he wants the best for the game over there.

Rugby league in France: The two kings

Arcturan, what do you make of Trent Robinson’s involvemnt in French RL of late? Seems to be a step forward on paper.

Rugby league in France: The two kings

It is truly an odd time being an Rugby League fan born well past the 80-90’s. So much context that I’ll never truly be able to capture, the way the league is simply being the norm for me. I do wonder how I would’ve felt as a RL fan if I were alive in through the those decades in particular. I love the name ‘Jets’ in for sports in general, but logically Newtown won’t rise to the top ever again, and with Redcliffe winning the Brisbane expansion, likely never will.

What can we learn from the demise of the Newtown Jets?

Ah, just remembered hearing the ‘business of taking souls’ on there not long ago, just a funny coincidence. Pretty quality poddy though, run by Denan Kemp (if you can recall the name).

Do you happen to listen to Bloke in a Bar AJ?

I have, in fact seen the footage. How on earth, besides incredible bias, can you say that wasn’t shoulder contact.

Another crazy chapter in the Book of Feuds as Mitchell's moment of madness stuns Manu

Get your Red and Green glasses off. How can you honestly look at the footage and say he connected with the chest, deadset

Wheres’s that Billy Brittain guy at? Injured? Have a small feeling he’d do better than McGuire.

NRL Round 23 teams: Big ins for Panthers and Bunnies, surprise returns for Raiders and Sea Eagles

Loved watching El Magic growing up, felt like there was never a player quite like him. The things I’d do to have players of his ilk set the benchmark at Canterbury again!

The NRL all-star team of one-club stalwarts

Anyhow. I’d say we’re at an impasse, a point where we’re simply going to reiterate points over and over again. (Much like I’ve had to considering you always miss it). Goodnight.

The World Cup can save us from an annus mediocre - if we let it

It was a success in terms of revenue and attendance, both highly increased from the previous outing. And in case you didn’t know, those two are rather large factors in the growth and influence of any particular sport. And see, now you’re dramatizing. There were natives in each of those sides, plus players who were available through what’d ya know, the brilliant heritage system. And hey, one of the effects was an excellent revamp of said system, which will ultimately increase the quality of this year’s comp.
