What a crock, Buckley should have been stood down like Wayne Bennett has. McKenna and Sidebottom were at different times, there was a lot more information and rules in place when Sidebottom got done and he got picked up by the cops. McKenna was actually very unfortunate as the COVID laws said it was ok to visit open homes and family, he visited his Australian host family but they aren’t blood relatives so he got 2 weeks. To even compare McKenna and Sidebottom is embarrassing for the author really. And with the boots saga it has since come out that a lot of players in the league have been wearing them including no doubt some Collingwood players so if you are going to punish this young bloke then you have to punish every other player that has been wearing them including some of your own players. If your club officials, president and players stopped doing stupid things then there wouldn’t be any issues or ammunition for the journo’s. Typical attitude tho, it was someone else’s fault

Collingwood again on the wrong side of the AFL and its minions

They’ve called these all year, it’s about the only thing the umps have been consistent with

'No, no, no!' Did this stunning late umpiring call rob the Pies?

I’m not sure how his comments can be “misconstrued as per usual”, didn’t he say the words or is he like Agro and has got someone’s hand up his clacker that talks for him? He’s actually embarrassing the AFL brand a bit with his comments

Eddie McGuire stands by comments he made before Nathan Buckley's COVID breach

Not following you around, just calling out your hypocritical ways as usual ie. your name calling whinge but don’t like it when you get called out.

2020 must be Nathan Buckley's last year as Collingwood coach

Sorry I will refrain that “champ”, final 2 years were 2 grand finals. How can you call someone “spent” when his final 2 years at a club were grand finals and then Nathan took over and they went missing for 7 years. Believe it or not i do know that he coached Carlton and I also know that he didn’t have anywhere near the talent on the list that he left Nathan.

2020 must be Nathan Buckley's last year as Collingwood coach

A bit like your alter ego George who only appears when you need back up. There doesn’t need to be a poll to know this, it’s as obvious as Malthouse would have got at least another flag out of the Collingwood list if he stayed on.

2020 must be Nathan Buckley's last year as Collingwood coach

Why wouldn’t I? It’s pretty obvious Mick had them playing for him. 2 grand finals in 2 years says a lot.

The flag was actually raised publicly by a journalist Birdman, not the club or player.

Just say it: Clarko was out of line

Sounds like it’s Hawthorn’s DNA too Birdman after what your own saviour Don Scott has been saying. Carlton at least owned up to it.

Just say it: Clarko was out of line

Bullwinkle? Peter are you name calling? Aren’t you the same Peter who carried on like a pork chop a few weeks ago about name calling other posters? Any wonder you’re the most disrespected person on this site.

2020 must be Nathan Buckley's last year as Collingwood coach

If Malthouse coaches Collingwood til 2015 they would have won at least 2 more flags, absolutely no doubt about it. The players played for him

If the pies are serious then they need to flog Freo by 15 goals next week after Freo’ s effort last night.

Buckley exposes Pies’ “soft underbelly”

The question has to be asked tho, is it bad luck or bad management?

Collingwood 2020 versus Collingwood 2018: A devolution

It’s the same injury story year after year tho. There is obviously something wrong with either their players, facilities or fitness team which Eddie said once “is the best money can buy”. Collingwood supporters should be furious and demand answers to why these injuries happen every year. I know I would be pissed off if it kept happening at my club every year especially if the club was in the premiership window like Collingwood have been.

Collingwood 2020 versus Collingwood 2018: A devolution

The Hawks will be back where they were in the mid to late 90’s if Clarkson keeps mouthing off at other clubs, sponsors won’t want to go near them.

Six talking points from AFL Round 8

Papley was just rubbing Mitchell’s nose in something he said to Papley a minute earlier.

Clarko takes massive swipe at Tom Papley in post-match presser... and Horse Longmire isn't happy

Could play with 10 players each and the defensive coaches would still find a way to make it congested.

Has Nathan Buckley uncovered a solution to congestion?

If a side doesn’t score more than 45 points in a game then they lose 2 premiership points and if a team scores over 100 points in a game then they get an extra 2 premiership points. Watch the game open up then. It will be coached how it should be coached if this was the case instead of the defensive crap they’re coaching.

How to decongest the AFL

He definitely promises more than he shows, if he turned into a 15 possession player then he’d be a matchwinner because by all reports he’s got a good footy brain but 6-8 touches most games gives the team nothing.

Why Carlton are a finals team

Macca I agree. McGovern is off contract this year so he’s either up for a massive drop in pay, has to show more consistently or ask for another trade. Big forwards who compete aren’t really our weakest point at the minute especially with Curnow to come back next year so McGovern has a lot of work to do.

Why Carlton are a finals team

McKay could be anything if he gets a good run at it injury wise. We all have seen what Curnow can do when he’s up and running, these 2 are out future forward line, McGovern needs to do more as the 3rd string forward but he’s showing glimpses but needs to show more consistently. Casboult has to be in the side every week as he gives us so many different options. If we have a fully fit list then McKay, Curnow and Casboult are our forwards with maybe McGovern coming off the bench to play lead up high half forward.

Why Carlton are a finals team

Port are actually out of bed at 4.30 for a for a 6am flight I read somewhere yesterday, would have to be hard on the body all that sitting down you would think. I hope not for Ports sake but wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a few hammy’s go at some stage.

Why Port can overpower the burgeoning Carlton

If you don’t barrack for Collingwood then dare talk about Collingwood on a Collingwood post though, it’s not your right and you wouldn’t be as informed as Pete or George.

Why Port can overpower the burgeoning Carlton

Alias? Kane is actually my name, is yours Pete or George? Tell me once where I have written someone’s name in the libellous claims I am supposedly making. Who am I making these claims against?

Giant concedes 50m penalty with the dumbest act of 2020

Calm down Pete, it’s not as though he sexually assaulted someone. Oops sorry, sexual assault is actually embraced by some clubs.
