I’m OK with Bennett, but, he has to toss it in, at some stage. Most of the others should quietly fade into the wilderness imo, & the quicker the better for our game.

With Fitzgibbon at the helm surely the only way is up for Cronulla in 2022?

Going off track – I really hope that Fitzgibbon is a successful coach. I can’t see any point in staying on the same old coaching roundabout & expecting different results over & over again. Sure, other assistant coaches have failed, in the big time, but, that, to me, doesn’t meant that none of them will succeed.
Where else are new & different coaches going to come from? No-one seem prepared to even try those from lower grade competitions.
There has to be Robinsons, Bellamys etc out there waiting for there opportunity.

In that case, they may well need that sombrero.

Eels hit out at media as RCG re-signs

If nothing else, he should be fast, Phil.

NRL Transfers: Storm sign Olympic Games silver medallist, Ikuvalu leaves Roosters

I loved the early days fighting to be accepted & recognised; slowly developing into the team we are today. While AAMI Park is great, I’ll always hold our days at the freezing cold, cramped, uncomfortable, undersized Graveyard very dear.

Club culture: What is it, and is it unique?

All good, Dionysus. I guess you never went to the toilet or tried to buy food, at half-time, at the old Graveyard (Olympic Park). We weren’t all that polite back then.
Pretty much agree with the rest. I’m not a fan of booing, either, except for the body you mentioned. Cheers.

Club culture: What is it, and is it unique?

Never a truer words said, GB.

Club culture: What is it, and is it unique?

A nice, idealistic summary, Dionysus, typed with your purple lenses in place & tongue in cheek. Just quietly, most of it is true.

Club culture: What is it, and is it unique?

Really well said! Thankyou.

That’s top of the list.

The greatest grand finalists of the 2000s

Topic the list John’s & Filter, for me.

The greatest grand finalists of the 2000s

It would be so interesting. There are a lot of ego in that team.

The greatest grand finalists of the 2000s

Can’t argue with that team, Tony, would be great to watch if they were able to combine effectively. Who would they play though?

The greatest grand finalists of the 2000s

Perhaps you could write it, Take 6.

Phil Gould: The man or the myth?

Thanks Tony.

It’s time to take a good, hard look at the Dragons’ recruitment for 2022

Not enough knowledge or confidence, Tony. I’m content to add my two cents worth occasionally.

It’s time to take a good, hard look at the Dragons’ recruitment for 2022

Only for a Dragons fan, Paul.

It’s time to take a good, hard look at the Dragons’ recruitment for 2022

Thanks Tony. I do understand frustration & the need to see any under performing team improve, but, it’s time to widen horizons, for a while, I think.
Looking forward to your next post.

It’s time to take a good, hard look at the Dragons’ recruitment for 2022

I think that’s a pretty honest assessment of your team & it’s chances next season, Tony. If you are right, it’s an improvement – good luck.
I’m hoping for some articles on clubs other than the Dragons now, please.

You have just contradicted yourself, Hairy. I’m not going to waste time pointing out your mistakes, but, if you want to be taken seriously here, read what you’ve written & check that it’s accurate before you post.

The ‘One’ player who could change everything for each NRL side

I’ll bet we weren’t the only ones caught, Glory B. Click……click……click……

The ‘One’ player who could change everything for each NRL side

I bit on reading the headline, too, Glory Bound.

The ‘One’ player who could change everything for each NRL side

Really Hairy? Go back & look at that team, then take note of the players we lost. Greg Inglis was just one of them, I seen to recall. Please be sure of your facts before you make sweeping statements.

The ‘One’ player who could change everything for each NRL side

God forbid!

The ‘One’ player who could change everything for each NRL side

One “minor” indiscretion, maybe, another chance, but, multiple breaches? There has to be a line in the sand sometime.
