I clocked that after watching his post match interviews. Tall fella. Great run on debut.

'Heartbreaking': Blues sink Reds with post-siren try after rising star scores epic hat-trick

If they’ve given up on trying to make him a rugby player why is he on the field every week? The coaches aren’t going to root you, soap.

'Heartbreaking': Blues sink Reds with post-siren try after rising star scores epic hat-trick

Seems like a regrettable contract is having a say in his career path and coaches are given new headaches with him every week. 👍

Grealy and Ryan would be small wingers but there’s no point having a big winger that can’t defend due to both poor effort and being out of position.

Wins would be nice but beating the chiefs and pushing the blues and canes is more than what I expected from a young and injury ridden team this year. I hope they keep getting better under kiss.

Hopefully they can have a full squad come finals and pull off an upset if they make it.

I think reds fans have suffered enough of Suli. I reckon if I put up a GoFundMe to pay out his contract we’d reach the goal in two minutes.

Others didn’t score a try and pilfer, he did. He also won scrum penalties – the main job of a prop.

Hopefully someone will get a message to Taniela that when he signs contracts and accept money he should predict if he’s going to have severe injuries that will impact his mobility and fitness level. Because apparently his mobility issues are a personal choice from an “overweight overpaid bum” and not the result of injury.

'He'd been flogged to death': Rebels GM's scathing Tupou claim as Wallaby battles to reignite his fire

“Personally I can’t stand that overpaid and overweight bum playing for rebs even. He should go os for advanced weight loss programs.” – Guess, professional dullard on The Roar.

Guess, can you tell me what how much cardio is involved in recovery of hamstring and Achilles injuries? Can you tell me if the focus for a set piece specialist would be increased strength during that time? How would their athletic ability be around the park if managing coming back from those injuries?

A try, two scrum penalties and a pilfer. But he wasn’t involved in every phase of defence so he’s a “bum”. Nice one, Guess. Keep it coming.

Pretty sure you mentioned him going to overseas “advanced weight loss programs” and called him a bum recently ya big online bully. So tough. So cool.

What weight was he when he was injured and what is it now?

What was the recommended focus during recovering from recurring hamstring and achilles injuries (not Hiit classes I’m guessing)?

If upper body training was part of it has this added to the weight?

If strength training was part of it what was the recommended diet while cardio was limited to probably bike and swimming?

If they are managing his fitness too does that include his effort areas on the field?

Was he put straight back into super rugby with no time for conditioning elements of fitness that were paused during recovery?

People focusing on his weight and using terms like fat or talking about “KFC” and then putting their hands up like their the victim when people call them out for being a**holes is exactly what a troll is. Provoke provoke provoke “oh I’m the victim of everyone’s reactions”. There’s still time for you to be a decent person, James.

Looking forward to you listing the BMI of every player throughout the season. Cracking commentary.

Well there are lots of deros in the comments focusing on what he didn’t do so I thought I’d add some balance.

But congratulations on not mentioning his weight for the first time in a while. You may be classified as not a POS soon.

“for an action not dissimilar to Cane’s”. Lol.

I hear that if enough people write comments and columns about this event, the result of the world cup final will change. Lowering height, not forceful, clips the player but apparently is “not dissimilar” to a full shoulder of an upright tackler to the head of the ball carrier.

The little village and their perception game continues.

There are only two ways rugby can go from here - and there's no middle ground between physicality and safety

Taniela recruited from an Auckland high school, lives with the reds coach as a kid who is then axed, then flogged by Thorn, moves to Melbourne and RA try to shut the club down, is called fat and lazy by m0rons.

A try, two scrum penalties and a pilfer in his cameo on the weekend while still coming back from injury. Get some perspective, guys.

The Ewen Mackenzie coup was a while ago, have RA matured in way that hiring Cheika won’t disrupt the national coach too?

Let’s say Cheika comes in and does well next year, Schmidt has a Luke warm year and is only on a two year contract. Are RA able to pick and stick and see that it’s better to have an accomplished guy like Schmidt see it through? Or will it be deja coup and another Randwick second coming much like Eddie’s return.

Why is it not ok for the tahs just to have some rebuilding years? They need league players. They need Cheika. Someone hit the alarm, the tahs aren’t playing well.

The comments on this one should be rational and free from bias.

Well there seems to be a lot of sinners who should be in jail and aren’t. Protected by the paedo racket.

Can you use the phrase “It is alleged” before you write what God thinks or does. Stating it without that suggests an arrogance that you can claim things to be true without evidence. Your beliefs are not the world’s facts.

TWAS, I think gamechanger is conditioned to the point of severe confirmation bias. He can’t upset the boogey monster, so his anxiety is channeled into some type of smug intellectual and moral superiority.

Trying to get people like that to admit it’s bad for sport celebrities to encourage hate towards an at danger minority is like try to convince certain Americans they need law reform after school shootings. There’s just no getting through to them.

The Christian Brothers and Alan Jones use this get out of jail free card, don’t they? To repent their “sins”.
Since we’re sharing fairytale spells, do you know what happens when you spin around in front of a mirror and say candy man?

And with this post GC, you are deemed a cooker.

Most people don’t need statistics to see what is morally right and wrong in modern times.

But I do wish god botherers would put some of their moral energy into paedos in the church. You lot are always awful quiet about that.

If Tom Brady joined the Westboro Baptist Church and preached, I’m sure he would’ve kept all his contracts. They tend to focus on the thing Folau is hung up about.

After all, business contracts are definitely all about freedom of religion – the most important freedom in modern times, right?

Cost of living crisis? Talk to the burning bush.

Teenage sui-cide rates? Footy player’s screenshots on social media will fix that.

Domestic violence? Have you read the gangbusters bit on stoning?

It’s a shame the all important screenshots of the prophet Israel aren’t there to save us from all these things anymore. We need more freedom to spout thousands of year old garbage to solve all these issues.

You think Epstein’s island was bad, let me show you Vatican city.

Yeah all half backs get hammered in commentary in this country because none of them are Aaron Smith.

Talking down reds players and talking up others is standard trope on this site. Not sure why some fans can’t look at a team that can do things like beat the chiefs two years in a row and once away and go “they must be doing something right”. Thrashed the tahs and revs, beat the chiefs, drew with the canes in regular time.

The only game they’ve played poorly is the force and they were close to a come back on that one too.

Apparently playing well as a team with confidence isn’t good preparation for a Wallabies spot. What’s better is talking about the potential of individuals in teams that are playing like dirt.

But hey, that’s the Australian rugby public for you.

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

1 point in it and people are dodging and weaving in the comments on who the Wallabies should be.

Schmidt is about effort players. He won’t be looking at single games and it won’t matter if they’ve had a howler. Nearly every potential Wallabies player has had a shocking game in recent memory.

Schmidt will probably look at everyone’s best performance. He’ll opt for skill, balance and effort. Then it’ll be upto him to create a system to bring 100% effort out every time.

These comment threads where people are like “the guy that isn’t on my team is bad because of that one thing he did, therefore he is not a wallaby and the person who should be is the guy who plays on my team” are some primary school level utter nonsense.

There are good players in these teams, so what’s the problem?

Is it the coaches?

Have RA killed the morale of both dressing rooms with wanting the rebels gone and forcing Mark N and Perese to look elsewhere with their signings?

All of the above?
