What I don’t understand is how under Rennie after those 5 wins, Kerevi and hooper get nominated for world player of the year, Kellaway rookie of the year and Quade comes back into every news articles top 10-20 players of the year/all time, korobetie everyone’s number one winger in the world….. and somehow they all look like they are the worst players, they’re past it, they’re not the future, they’re a shadow of their former self. All this happened only once jones took over and now our best players look like the worst on field.

The problem is a lot of us are die hard rugby fans. We live and breathe it and we have had to sit through 8 years of absolute trash. To then get to another World Cup and make the worlds dumbest coaching, player selections, game plan tactics and then just sacrifice it all to “build for next World Cup” and not even make it out of the pool stages it’s absolutely unacceptable sorry it’s pathetic

It’s actually a pretty near strength side which is surprising. Obviously Eddie’s pet vunivalu getting another Chance so good luck to him hopefully he can show something. Good to see Isaac have a go over white and although I would like Pone to have more game time the others need it more and we have to play Bell with no slipper. I saw rugby Column posted that Hooper was not chosen due to his “arrogance” and “toxic personality” but looks like it has since been taken down. Hard to believe a guy chosen captain by 5 coaches and is applauded by everyone would be like this? Lots of S#!t talking about Quade and Hooper since they were dropped. Hard to know what’s true but again we can see Eddie and Hamish constantly contradicting themselves to save face. Just because you played 30 mins of good rugby once doesn’t mean anything we know we can’t back games up and we still loss. Writings on the wall. In the end the guys who were left out of the squad might have their stocks rise by not being selected in the end

I like the “we chose the old guard to be loyal to them and decided to play a zero possession game. And when we lost because who would ever play well with 2% possession we dumped them and decided to go with youth, but also pick old heads and players who are injured and couldn’t compete at super level but yea we definitely will win the World Cup all it takes is some momentum and good vibes”
