He should get rid of slipper then

Wallabies winners and losers: Eddie's ruthless RWC squad is full of double standards - but we had been warned

Donaldson probably has to be number 23, no other flyhalf backup if Carter goes down

Wallabies winners and losers: Eddie's ruthless RWC squad is full of double standards - but we had been warned

This is insane. Sounds like jones has given up. We waited 4 years for this World Cup and we decide to go with donaldson and vunivalu who jones didn’t even have the balls to play (donaldson) and vunivalu who clearly has a clause in his contrt. Pathetic. Could be our worst World Cup performance to date. Can’t wait for him to announce ker Barlow LOL!

Exclusive: Quade, Hooper to miss World Cup selection as Jorgensen rockets into squad

You lost me at Vunivalu

Exclusive: Quade, Hooper to miss World Cup selection as Jorgensen rockets into squad

Last weekend was really Fraser’s first good game at test level. Hooper until this year has been getting ratings of 7-8 every game and a 7 we usually think is a bad game for him. A lot of players are scoring 5s at the moment. Also considering how much he has given this country we should take him. Steve smith has some bad days but you don’t doubt he can do something when needed. What a sad end though if the injury keeps him out… but that’s sport

'I'd be picking him': Wallabies legend backs Hoops for RWC but reckons it's a '50-50' call

I think he got 1-2 turnovers too

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Tate to captain 'new era' as Eddie changes back-row, calls up rookie prop after Thor blow

At least he made all his throws on the weekend

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Tate to captain 'new era' as Eddie changes back-row, calls up rookie prop after Thor blow

Let’s be honest. With the performances of all the Australia super rugby sides this year, a World Cup year… how did we expect the wallabies to perform ?

'Keep putting him in those positions': Committing to Carter, Taniela teaser and Eddie's 10 RWC head-scratchers

Happy to see what this team can do. Want to see Tom do well but he looked so underdone against SA. I also think we look better with Matt Philip in the team

'Butch defence, Larkham glide': What Eddie sees in Test rookie as Wallabies make SEVEN changes

I have not understood the hype around Gleeson but happy for him to have game time if they think he is the future

CONFIRMED: 34-man Wallabies squad for Bledisloe series against All Blacks as trio axed in shake-up

Yea unfortunately even against Tonga he was busy but got driven backwards in contact twice or just hits the deck immediately. Maybe the reason he has a lot of post contact meters on the stats is because he Carrie’s the ball the most?

Give some credit to the boys for that loss. Dumb penalty after dumb penalty, mungo brains always gotta retaliate against the push and shove. One lesson learned though, if opposition even brushes past you fall on the floor screaming in pain and get a free penalty. Eddie talks about fixing 3 big things to make the wallabies winners…. How about you just fix the discipline. Two try’s directly from a push by Valentini and a high shot from cooper. How many times would the wallabies have won if they just gave away one less penalty at critical times. Having a ref at training and a team psychologist have made zero difference it’s baffling. You can always count on Tom to push someone after the whistle is blown like he needs more reason for everyone to want him as far away from the wallabies as possible

'Look out': Eddie puts All Blacks on notice despite 'broken car' Wallabies' loss to Argentina

The only reason Porecki gets chosen is because he can throw straight but he is terrible on the park, defensive liability and commits to so many rucks he has no chance of winning or even disrupting, poor clean out technique too

Wallabies CONFIRMED: 10 changes with McReight in for Hoops, Eddie's bench gamble, Rebel's debut and Suli dropped

“Players pick themselves mate” apparently Eddie Jones didn’t watch super rugby. Choosing a Hooker who can’t even make the starting side for Australia’s worst team and vunivalu who not one human things is Upto standard

'Shows how far off mark we are': The side of Suli you never imagined seeing as Wallabies hope to rid 'demons'

It’s hard to be mad at any player with that game strategy. When everyone has a bad game it’s more than the players. Agree with your statement at the end. The best part of the match was watching Tate give about 5 passes in a row straight to Gordon to make some plays and what do you know we scored

'What was with that defensive set up?': Jones-Hodgson combo must get up to speed fast with Fisher absence clear to see

For the first time I have lost any allegiance to any players. Vunivalu gone, dare I say it Hooper (my fav player of the last half a decade post pocock), uelesse gone ( can’t he just do 100 throws and 20 in a row before he can leave training? The dude is good around the park but I just do understand how he still can’t throw straight. Our front row is abysmal couldn’t hold one scrum up.

Valentini 8 Holloway/leota at 6, probably even a Wilkin at 7? I don’t think we are gonna see much more from mcreight than hooper. Tate to start but probably keep cooper and bring Gordon on earlier. Samu at 12 and possibly hodge fullback wright or mark to the wing. Hodge needs to step up though, we get the kicks are hard but it’s the reason you are there and you never make them. Dunno what the answer is at prop but not sure tupou and bell will be the saviours we hope they can be, tupou has been mostly average for the wallabies

Vision as important as selection after physical and mental battering - and it could mean following France's '19 RWC path

Glad we hired an NRL player as a defence coach

REACTION: 'You don't have to be a smart arse, mate' - Eddie blows up at journo after Wallabies shocker

I gotta say it’s mostly the team I was expecting so confidence is back but two curious decision.

1. Why on earth take Tupou and Bell to SA when clearly not fit to play and now you have to bring an emergency prop over.

2. For a kicking dominant play style you’ve chosen two wingers who can’t kick and wright I don’t think is a great kicker either

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Why Jones opted for Hodge at 12 as Suli starts and four debutants named for Boks clash

You want the best Wallabies to go guns blazing for this first game but Man I’m losing confidence about this game in Pretoria by the hour. Already so many key players injured. 22 flash backs

Rugby News: Eddie opts for 'brick s--thouse' as Slips cover, Springbok defends Ireland defection, Barrett ready for 'biff'

If slipper is out who are we looking at for props?? Gibbon, Alaalatoa, Nonggorr and Bell?

Exclusive: Four debutants, Suli to start, skipper in doubt - Eddie springs surprises for Boks opener

Rob Leota 6. Tom Hooper 7. Bobby V 8. Bell Uelese Tupou, Skelton Arnold would be a huge pack

'Itchy feet': Mystery surrounds Wallabies selection as Eddie weighs up risk and reward factor over key props

As much as I want Tom Wright to fulfil his potential, the thought of him at 15 in Pretoria makes my palms start sweating

'Split squad', 'novice Bok 10': Why this is the Wallabies' best chance to 'exhume the Loftus graveyard'

I mean…. You should back your team to beat Moana lol. Australian players just mentally weak in big moments

COMMENT: Eddie has made one huge gamble - and it's not the No.10 call - as he avoids ruthless Hooper decision

I know people rag on hooper as captain but slipper and 7As at captain made literally no difference. We still suck (loss to Italy)
