He’s just promoting his wife’s podcast, and very successfully I might add. I’d never heard of it til now!

Finlayson's wife blasts 'incredibly embarrassing' reporting on husband's response to homophobic slur ban

Unless you’ve got a dictator government that doesn’t need to worry about election cycles, social media can’t be adequately controlled.
Either put up with the abuse or get off. They’re the only two options.

Social media trolling of our sportspeople has its newest victim - but Sonja Hood won't be the last unless we take a stand

Players are losing the skill of situational awareness and body positioning because they’re trusting the rules that no matter what they do, the head will be protected.

'Going to have a nice holiday': Papley whacks Don's Swan bump, blasts Bombers' 'facade' in explosive interview

Regardless, not looking as whats comming as he ran with the flight of the ball into a big leading forward is asking for trouble. Self preservation needs to be considered in such a circumstance. As dirty Harry says…..”you’ve gotta ask yourself a question: “Do I feel lucky?”

Cunningham was the one who decided it was a good idea run with the flight of the ball into the path of a leading giant at full speed.

Where’s the responsibility for the kamikaze reckless defender running with the flight of the ball into the leading player’s path?

Wright had 3 options..1. Deviate off his path and he criticised for being weak. 2. Leave himself exposed for the mark and injury..3. Brace for impact.

If Maynard, Cripps and Cotchin get nothing then how can SPP get 4 weeks for less? Oh I know, he doesn’t play for a big VFL club.

'Ignores everything the AFL is asking': Port defend Powell-Pepper as ban looms for brutal hit which concussed Crow

Maynard, cotchin and cripps get let off for worse. You watch the corrupt vfl make an example of an interstate player though.

How can it be argued that its not still the vfl?

Month off for SPP, another Superdraft loading? Seven things we learned from AFL trial matches

So many of you dump on our English ancestory and colonisation of Australia yet none of you would be here without it. None of you would live in the best safest country in the world without it.
How do you sleep at night being so conflicted and full of guilt for living your best life in a country who’s heritage you clearly hate?
How can you unashamedly take all the privilege, wealth and opportunity that colonisation has ultimately given you whilst at the same time dumping on it? It’s like a rich kid accepting all the money your parents give you whilst at the same time telling them how much you hate them.

'Choose a better date': Cummins wants Australia Day moved as CA chief sledged for 'bizarre' trainwreck interview

Hahaha you clown, the left are the least tolerant of anything in society and want everything they disagree with to be cancelled.

Pat Cummins is a massive hypocrite. He goes on about climate change but then flys first class everywhere. First class has a carbon footprint 7 times larger than economy class. He drives a range rover, one of the most polluting cars on the planet. Pats carbon footprint would be 10 times of a rank and file person yet there he is lecturing us like a true elite….’do as I say not as I do’. Why does he never say anything about India’s human rights record or India being a massive polluter? Oh that’s right, he’d lose his lucrative IPL contract. I respect pat for having the fortitude to speak his mind but I don’t have to agree with him.

How about schedule the BBL so that all the best players are here for the full season? Year after year the finals are a massive anti-climax because all the best players are gone by the time finals start. What other professional sport in the world has its finals with all the worst players?

Five simple ways to make the Big Bash 10 times better

If Eddie is the problem the last 10 months, who’s been the problem the previous 19 years?

'Completely unfair': Eddie sledge that angered Waugh, new coaching contenders emerge to rebuild Wallabies

Ah well what can you expect from a sport run by entitled private school elites that will always put their own hubris ahead of the greater good for rugby.

Read it and weep: Eddie made Wallabies fans 'eat s--t' for 10 months - here's every bit of BS he uttered

As someone from South Australia I’ve often posted that I don’t understand why Rugby Australia and the Wallabies are always such an incompetent basket case. It’s one failure, one disaster after a another. Never received an answer on this website as to why.

Eddie's Wallabies future on tenterhooks amid coaching changes, key ally departs as Waugh returns home

As an AFL fanatic from South Australia, I grew fond of the Wallabies and Union as a kid in the late 90’s. For a sport mad nation like Australia I don’t undestand why the Wallabies are always so bad. It’s really depressing. How is it possible to be so bad all the time when Rugby is a popular sport here? What an appalling disgrace. I read somewhere that Wallabies players can only come from two elite private schools? Surely that can’t be right? Seems like all our best talent plays league but the rest of the world couldn’t care less about league, only us. How does Australia get the talent to play Union?

Have a look at Port’s list profile currently. It’s very young, most 24 or younger. The club has gone hard at the draft the previous 5 years.

'Sold part of their future to tread water': Power failure leaves Port in the dark post-trade period

Port have invested heavily in the draft for the 5 years 2018 to 2022 inclusive, and done so very astutely I might add. I’ve include 2022 because they essentially traded up for a 19 year old in JHF that would’ve been pick 1 in that draft. Furthermore they have a stack of young talent 23 or under. Then there’s a big gap in the 25-29 range.

If any club can afford to and really needs to trade in some 25yr old role players it’s Port. They’re bursting with young talent and players that were 30 plus.

Classic media overreaction to Bribane winning at the Gabba. The joint is a hot sweaty humid slippery dump, which we were never going to win at. Just really unlucky that finishing 3rd meant we had to go up there. Stinks really but oh well we know how the top 4 works. If we finished 2nd we would’ve flogged them at Adelaide Oval like last time. Brisbane can’t beat a decent team outside of the gabba unless the Oval has a roof on it to protect them from the cold.

It’s typical of short sighted media to now be talking Carlton and GWS up even though they only played a couple of very ordinary bottom 8 teams but apparently Port are cooked because they lost at the Gabba!

We smashed GWS a couple games ago.

Finals Fix: The Lions just cracked September after four years of trying - and everyone else should be terrified

Pffftttt the Lions are almost impossible to beat at that humid slippery steaming dump.

If we finished 2nd and played them at Adelaide Oval we would’ve flogged them like last time.

Brisbane can’t beat a decent team on the road unless it’s under a roof.

Amazing that now Carlton and GWS talked up after having soft games against bottom 8 dribblers but apparently to many in the media Port is cooked because they lost at the Gabba where no team would’ve won.

Give me a spell.

These days a player almost always gets to the club he chooses. Making an opposition club stronger is largely irrelevant compared to what the player wants.
Melbourne will naturally huff n bluff but ultimately there’s no room for two no.1 rucks in a team and they don’t want to be paying the salary of a disgruntled player languishing in to two’s simply because there’s no room in the one’s for him unless Gawn is injured.
IF Grundy tells Melbourne he wants to go to Port or Sydney then trading history over the last few years suggests he’ll almost certainly get there.

The Suns botch another coaching exit after hanging Stuart Dew out to dry

Dear oh dear oh dear we are in big trouble. Our two practice matches have shown nothing has changed at all under our lame duck coach. Not one thing has changed from Hinkley-ball. People will say calm the farm fella it’s only a trial game but I’ve seen almost 10 years of hinkley-ball and it doesn’t stand up against good teams. Hinkley is a lame duck coach in his final year of 11 years. I can’t think of a team that has excelled in such a situation. 58 inside 50’s for 6 marks and 8 goals. It’s classic hinkley.

Maybe I’m a bit cynical but I think it’s choreographed spin to select Boland for the MCG test whilst saving Hazelwood the embarrassment of not being selected and at the same time portraying him as the ultimate team player.

'Mark of the man': Selfless act that gives Boland chance to relive historic debut as Aussies name XI for MCG

I just find it odd that the version of rugby that is much bigger internationally and seems to generate more national pride when we win is the 2nd class version here.

As an AFL supporter, Rugby Union caught my eye probably due to more kicking and marking than League.

It find it embarrassing that we keep losing to NZ when we’ve got players here that could beat them if only they played union.

'We'll rise': Wallabies must respond with a performance against Ireland or leave Rennie vulnerable
