If the Dragons thought he was still worth $750K a season for 2022 they would’ve kept him.
I say they realised he’s not worth near that much any more & this was a very convenient opportunity to free up some BIG $$$ under their salary cap.
For $3/4 Mill they should nab a top quality “spine” player.
They’re saying Vaughan will only garner $400K on the open market, so St George have made a smart (if ruthless) business decision.

If you’re reeling off big scores nobody is temporary. Make a enough runs & selectors simply cannot drop you. Wade must be absolutely kicking himself. If he just plays like an opener there & lets Smith tear it up he’ll just scratch his way through to a solid score. Instead he goes for the Party Trick !

Queensland choked NSW out of ****Game THREE**** buy dominating the middle, allowing their kickers to kick from good field position and find space. NSW barely started a set outside their 20 metre zone from minutes 5 to 70 by which time the game was dusted. NSW wingers and centres had to do all the heavy lifting from a metres perspective because they were starting so deep

Absolutely, Mansour went too hard, too early & copped the big fend. I think in situations like that you’ve gotta try to run alongside a bit & bullock him to the ground. Obviously, much, much easier said than done against an opponent with such size & speed. If he knew he was outmatched for speed my tactic would be worthless.
