Had no idea my pokey little ‘personal perspective’ would generate such sincere and passionate discussion but am glad to have achieved that nonetheless. Some comments seem to have missed the point I made right at the beginning of the article about the choice coming down to personal perspective but that’s ok because some of the names and statistics being thrown around are staggering. Great to see such passionate support and admiration for our greatest sportspeople (past and present) and as I one writer put it, the ultimate ‘unanswerable’ question … but such fun to be had in having a crack!
