The only thing that matters, When the Sydney Roosters score fheir first 6 points against Queenslands Gold Coast team today. Then The Mighty Roosters will become the first club in Australian Rugby League History, to accumulate 40 thousand points.

A history of Brisbane Rugby League: District football, 1933 to 1939

No mate. Fans from all over greater Sydney follow the Sydney Roosters. They use to play home games at the old Sydney Sports Ground, then they knocked it down and built the Sydney Football Stadium for a home ground. Then it got knocked down for a rebuild so they play at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Hence the name Sydney Roosters. Do yourself an experimental favour, next big home game wonder down to Central Station and watch the thousands getting off in Roosters colors.

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 12

Very True. Robinson got the very best out of Latrell. Bellamy undoubtedly would get the very best out of him also. Bennett however is unable to acheive that with this season and with the likelihood of only 9 games remaining in Souths season. It appears that will not happen in 2020.

Latrell Mitchell: The Indigenous star of rugby league

Latrell was the most exciting Aboriginal player in Rugby League during the past two seasons. He is a role model for all children not just indigenous. Winning two comps, representing NSW and Australia, top point scorer and Dally M Centre of the year. It is a shame though that perhaps he has slipped backwards this season after the circus performance he put the league world through during last off season. His switch to fullback has also coincided with his decline in form. This time last season he had scored over 120 points, in comparison this season he has scored just 4 from a lone try. It has also coincided with his aggression on field getting beyond the boundaries of the rules with his resentment at being tackled. Perhaps it may be frustration at not being able to replicate his abilities in bursting tackles last season out wide with his brilliant strength. In my opinion he needs to be at centre to get the best out of this potential superstar. With Souths pursuit of rushing young kid Suaalli into first grade. In my oppinion Souths hierarchy will be moving the failed experiment of Mitchell at fullback back to his rightful position of centre. This move will be just a matter of time as Suaalli is apparently the next superhuman fullback, not Mitchell.

Refs cannot even define what a knock back is or a forward pass. If a ball is knocked back they rule knock on and every forward pass that travels forward, regardless whether it floated forward and the hands went back, is Forward. So how in slow motion can they possibly see the Saints player grounded the ball?

De-bunking the critics of the NRL bunker

No not go back to where we were. But come down heavier than previously before by giving penalties. At least ten teams under the 6 tackle rule introduction in 1972 have in the past won grand finals scoring less tries than their opponents or the same amount but winning on penalty goals. Penalties reward the attacking team twice by giving them 6 again but further down field. Like the author wrote also, sometimes 6 again is given when a team needs the two points from the penalty. Manly won a grand final in 1976 on penalties 13 -10 but were outscored in the try department 2-1.

Dear Mr V’landys, getting six again isn’t always an advantage

It is a ploy to end the footy season. Queensladsrs footy teams are all duds. zso they want to save Brisbane from a wooden spoon.

NRL seeking travel exemption after Queensland closes border to Sydney

Yes his form was poor but he also stated that he is motivated and up for the challenge for a short stint in the NRL. Money is not his motivation for this Roosters SOS call. He is already getting 5m per year. The Roosters are only paying him 150k.

Sonny Bill goes from holiday mode into NRL title tilt

Far from it Willie, SBW will inspire the entire club to go the extra level. Players are in awe of him and the young blokes like Collins, Butcher, Manu, Keary, Flanagan and Crichton will go to the next level. SBW is inspirational. Thats why the master coach gave him a call, with the loss of Radley, Robo knows the journey to take this years title is in need of a gladiatorial superstar, enter SBW.

I think if they want fo clean up the play the ball area then just penalise the offenders. losing 20 to 40 metres with a kicl for touch plus 6 again or a shot at two points will ram the fact home to offending teams just the same. I think the refs may have to much power just inconsistently handing out 6 agains.

Dear Mr V’landys, getting six again isn’t always an advantage

Roosters hat trick of World Club Challenge Cups are definitely still on. Go you back to back Premiers.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

NRL Salary Cap rules that Morris Twins, Friend, JWH, Cordner, Tupou, Aubusson, fall into this category and are able to receive the discount stated………..$0.2 million – Veteran and Developed Player Allowance for eligible players who were either developed by the Club prior to becoming NRL players and / or have been a Top 30 player for at least 8 years at the Club or have been a Top 30 player for at least 10 years across the game. Also SBW will only be paid about 150k of which 75k is frred up with the release of a development player.

If Sonny Bill Williams returns to the NRL, the Roosters have to suffer (at least a little bit)

Saints, Latrell is having the worst season, Wests, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Manly to upstage the pink pretenders, Parra in a cliffhanger, Melbourne

2020 NRL season: Round 12 preview

Gould is a genius and I hear when he eventually works for the NRL, he immediately will be pushing for the Roosters to finally get their junior district back, which was stollen by Soufths in the 1950’s. Hallejulla!

NRL may bend the rules in order to sign Joseph Suaalii

Joseph Suaalii has been offered 2.5 million by Soufths over 4 yrs. That equates to 625k per season. Bwahahahahahaha…..Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha…Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha…….Such a large chunk of their salary cap for an uncapped first grader. Who is running the show at Soufths? Seems to me Gagai and Johston are gone for the transit lounge Rabbit0’s for A smallish forward in Arrow and this young 17 year old wanna be rookie.

I count 27 points for Penrith. 30 eill secure a top four.

Manu is trying to slip the miricale pass far to often.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

Roosters hopless on the slippery/wet fields.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

Aubo the play his 300th in two weeks. Four weeks time he breaks the all time record for the Roosters when he plays his 302nd game.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

Top 4 will be Storm Roosters Raiders and Eels. Nobody has won it from outside of the four. Penith & Manly will be nuisance value.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

The bottom line should read…
If any kid who is unproven in the top grade of either Union or League, that receives a 3m dollar offer. Then take the money. Otherwise if he is shown up in his debut year in the top grade as only a first grader against the big boys, then he may be lucky to receive offers of only 400k per year.
Take the highest bid. It may never be offered again.

The Wrap: Truth proves elusive as Superman Suaalii saga rages on

It was a weekend where some top teams struggled with the weak teams. 1. Sydney struggled against the Warriors. 2. Canberra struggled against Soufths. 3. Newcastle struggled against Canterbury, 4. Penrith struggled against Titans. 5 Manly struggled against Cowboys, 6. Parra struggled against Wests.

Dogs loss shows Knights are not premiership contenders

Roosters miss Radley, until they get somone into that same role in attack, then I’d say they will confinue to struggle. Drew Hutchinson who stands at 187cm and weighs 97kg and plays halfback, should be rushed into the ball playing lock position. He is a Forward trapped in a Forwards body. The master coach Robinson needs to act soon or a top four chance will be lost. Since Radley has been injured Robo has had Butcher, Taukeiaho and Liu at lock and the Roosters have struggled. Hutchinson desreves a go.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 11

True but to be thrashed in Brisbane with 40k Bronco fans behind them is a shocker of all shockers. And with the so called “Master Coach” in control. However Parra at Bankwest were thrashing many teams last year. So I suppose it was not as big a shock in my view. But everyone to their own opinion.
