Except Fox screwed the A League over because it could not meet its contractual agreements because of Covid.A pox on Murdoch.

A-League avoids total embarrassment after broadcast partner goes belly up

It is about time those who wanted the APL apologise to us who wanted the FFA to remain in control. You were warned and unfortunately we ended up what you wished for.

A-League avoids total embarrassment after broadcast partner goes belly up

Drug fuelled players who arrived doped up on match day should be banned for the good of the game.

There was a low crowd at Brisbane Roar, but it was very hard to get there, I know because I did the trip. Rail track closed, transferred to several buses nearly two hours to get there. Lack of football stadiums in Brisbane is the problem.

'Would be a tragedy': Can the Jets find a new owner, or are they about to spiral out of the A-League?

When the A League was run by the FFA, Gallop was a failure but I believed it was still in the best position to run the A League over the APL. It saddens me that I was correct

'Would be a tragedy': Can the Jets find a new owner, or are they about to spiral out of the A-League?

I am over this, it is always the fans fault, there is a definite anti-football bias in authorities right from policing to funding and backed up by a biased media.

Violence is not 'passion': Wanderers fans chuck a wobbly again... why is it always them?

When fans go off at AFL & NRL it is the individuals who are to blame. Incidents that happen in Football it is the entire football code to blame. Hypocritical media and police shit me to tears.

How do A-League fans convince police that passion is not a crime?

All football comps around have their fair share of disputed decisions and as a Brisbane Roar supporter I believe we have had more than our fair share of those. But this is football and nothing is perfect. I believe referees should be more authoritarian on pitch so players attempting cheating are inclined not to do so, there are too many advantage plays when serious offences require immediate action and I hate the VAR.
So where is Mark Rudan when other teams cop mistakes from Refs and the VAR, I will tell now where to be found.

'Offensive, obscene, abusive': Rudan banned over A-League rants

That is a concern and running Australian Football is not easy.

'Return to the Glory days': A-League strugglers Perth's new ownership confirmed

I was one of the few who wanted to stick with FFA, seems I was unfortunately right.

A-Leagues confirm brutal staff purge as game's bold $40m vision goes up in smoke

I warned everyone taking the A League out of the hands of the FFA would be worse.

How can anyone be satisfied with the performance of the APL?

I could cry.

FA vow 'strongest sanctions available' after 'unforgivable' A-League scenes, Victory fan group issue statement

Initially I did not like this decision and still don’t and have come to realise that as football fans we have to overcome our disappointments and move on. Now in my mid-sixties and have been with the game in one form or another since I was 6 years old, I just have to accept bad management of the game . Walking away does the game no good and plays into the hands of the anti-football crowd. Besides as the time I have left in this world diminishes I just want to watch more live football.

A-League fans should protest the disgraceful decision to award the Grand Final to Sydney

I will guarantee that fans will be gouged for high airfare and accommodation costs as well as high cost ticket sales.

The A-League Grand Final now another point of contention for Australian football

What an own goal, I always told everyone even though Gallop was a disaster the FFA should be still running the A League.

The A-League has sold its soul to Sydney

J Binnie, I agree with you on this 100%.

Fans, players and the administration want a winter A-League

The A League which I whole heartedly support is fragile. We need all teams to do well. So I do not piss on anyone who is doing badly.

Is it ever okay to laugh at Melbourne Victory?

This is the sad part of football, people losing their livelihoods, I was not a fan of Mark, but I wish him the best.

Western United and Mark Rudan part ways following horror end to season

A winter comp for the A League would be madness, the biggest problem is football has a huge participation rate and it would be competing with the rest of football in Oz for space.

A new broadcast deal is fantastic news for the A-League

I first got foxtel for the A League and football and held my nose while signing up, as I have had a lifelong hatred of Murdoch. I am so happy I now can drop it , can’t wait. Yahoo!

A new broadcast deal is fantastic news for the A-League

Yes

A new broadcast deal is fantastic news for the A-League

I only signed up to Foxtel when the A League started as did a lot of my friends. I will be very sad if the A League folds, however if it comes to pass, I will be ditching Foxtel within minutes.

FFA chief admits he can't say if all A-League clubs will survive

Should be made simpler, the attacker should not be judged offside unless there is clear daylight (ahead of the defender) between the attacker and defender. It would be far simpler to adjudicate and lots more goals.

Wenger proposes huge VAR change

Anon, Yes AFL has the biggest crowds but the violence an thug fights in the crowds and the king hitting of female fans is atrocious. But on the whole I think most AFL fans are ok, just control the mob violence it would be a lot better.

The code wars are here, so let's have at it
