Yeah thats what I was thinking, some games I think we just need some extra backrow size

Five surprises, five disappointments and five things to figure out as Super Rugby 2024 reaches the end game

Honestly Id love to see Cale play on the openside if he were to play international. He has the pace and fitness, he can steal ball in open play and being able to steal at the lineout is a bonus. Gives us a bigger body in 7 if thats what we are after for that game

Very exciting times for the Lancaster and Toole. Id love to see Toole get some starts on the wing for the Wallabies as this is his 2nd season in super and has delivered consistently impressive performances. As for Lancaster he is very impressive also, if he can deliver consistency for the rest of the season then he should be in the Wallabies squad with potential to come off the bench for a game or two

Enough of realistic expectations, let's get excited about future Wallabies

If the tahs are struggling for prop stocks now and Pone cannot get a game for the rebels is there not a loan deal that can be made that benefits both teams here?

Super Rugby teams round 8: Tahs drop Marky Mark, Kellaway returns for Rebels, HMP replaces Lynagh

What gets me the most is that I think it was well established last year that our players arent playing enough high quality games. Phil Waugh told us last year that there would be a competition this year for this (mind you they were leaning towards more club games that im not a fan of at all as it spreads the talent too much) in which I havent heard anything on this since before the world cup?

For me it would be as simple as running super rugby AU with the drua later in the year. The players that arent in the wallabies squad plus can bring some up and comers and under 20s players. Play 2 rounds which is an additional 10 games which would put us on par with the English and French. Plus these games could experiment with players positions if required and set plays

COMMENT: Australian rugby is a depressing picture - the RA board must be axed and the constitution changed

Harrison looked great last game, play him off the bench again to ease him back but if he keeps playing like he did last week he will have the tahs 10 jersey

Rugby News: Tahs' next goal after 'big emotional weight' lifted, AB legend's career call, Crusader off to Saracens

If he comes back to coach the Wallabies I will find it really hard to continue supporting the Wallabies. Cheika needed a selection panel for a reason, also has an ego that the Wallabies dont need

'Everyone's in the hunt': RA won't rule out stunning Wallabies return after Cheika departs Argentina role

Cheika had a crack at refs constantly. He had his favourites and played them constantly even when losing, so much so that he needed a selection panel to select for him as he went rogue with selections. His attitude was terrible and this reflected on the players which you could see at press conferences they reflected Cheika. We just need a level headed coach in a similar mould to how Rennie ran things, no mind games

'Just as important': Cheika pours cold water on NRL role, advice to RA ahead of Wallabies coaching search

Phil Waugh talked a whole lot without actually saying anything.

Also do we know what the third tier of rugby is going to look like yet?

'Completely unfair': Eddie sledge that angered Waugh, new coaching contenders emerge to rebuild Wallabies

Have Rugby Australia even come out with an official statement about Eddie Jones leaving? Ive seen nothing on their socials or their website, what are they waiting on?

CONFIRMED: Eddie blames RA for early exit as Woodward calls for Rennie apology, ex-ABs coach linked to role

The most delusional man in Australia

'I'm not a quitter': Under-siege RA chair won't follow Jones, blames 'broken system' for chaos

Hamish were not saying you need to go for a broken system (well we are a little), we are saying you need to go because you are the chairman of the board who brought in a rogue coach at the start of a RWC year. Not only has there been terrible results but the Australian rugby fans have had no idea whats going on. Where are the past Wallaby coaches calling for his resignation?

'I'm not a quitter': Under-siege RA chair won't follow Jones, blames 'broken system' for chaos

Cheika also made wild selection calls, so much so that he ended up needing a selection panel. He also would have a crack at the refs and media (not to the extent of Eddie) but this ended up reflecting on the players in media interviews. Weve been there and done that, please dont go down the Cheika road again

Exclusive: Path clear for McKellar to return as Wallabies coach despite Leicester job, Cheika's update on future

I quite like this side and this they would have gone much better than the current squad selected. But we cant forget that Cheika also went rogue, he made bizarre selection choices that forced RAs hand to make him have a selection panel. He would constantly pick Ned Hanigan in 6 as he was killing it for Randwick. Ned was way too raw back then and was especially noticed against teams such as the all blacks who had the bullocking Liam Squire in 6 at the time. Mind you Hanigan has come into his own and wouldnt be a bad option in 6 now.

No crybabies, no league tragics, no Eddie Jones - the next Wallaby coach checklist

Why is Waugh still over in France? RA have never been in a worse place and he is over in France still? I cannot understand this at all, is McLennan in France still aswell?

Wallabies coach Jones disloyal if Japan talks real, says Rugby Australia boss

Exactly, just because you pick a young bloke doesnt automatically mean they will be an international talent in the future

COMMENT: RA wanted a Pitbull to bring back some snarl to the Wallabies - Eddie rolled over for a tummy tickle

Couldnt put it better myself

COMMENT: RA wanted a Pitbull to bring back some snarl to the Wallabies - Eddie rolled over for a tummy tickle

Rennies squad had beaten South Africa 3/4 times in the previous 2 years. There is absolutely no way they would be losing 40-6 against Wales.
40% is also much better than 22%

COMMENT: RA wanted a Pitbull to bring back some snarl to the Wallabies - Eddie rolled over for a tummy tickle

An absolute nothing press conference. Where is Hamish and Phil Waugh? Their silence is deafening right now. As for saying you are happy with your selections and they need more time, have you thought that maybe your selections are wrong? Do we need to watch the same 15 young blokes for the next 4 years on the chance that they could be international standard. When happened to players proving themselves in super rugby before getting the call up. Ben Donaldson and Tom Hooper have not proved themselves in super rugby yet and now they are starting for our national team. Also if that truely was Koroibete’s last game, then I hope we are ready for four years of Vunivalu in the 11 jersey. Sorry rant over for now

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

Well any of my mates that liked both codes now dont care for union at all

Eddie digs in as he flies home - AGAIN denying he wants to quit to coach Japan, while revealing next step

Sadly we are a joke at the moment, all rugby league fans are laughing at union at the moment. Doesnt help when Mclennan spent the start of the year bagging out League for headlines when Suallii signed, now he looks extremely stupid

Eddie digs in as he flies home - AGAIN denying he wants to quit to coach Japan, while revealing next step

RA need to come out and make a statement today about whats going on. Eddie Jones is back in Australia now so literally ask him whats happening. Last Phil Waugh stated he took Eddie Jones word from the presser that nothing was happening with Japan Rugby and now look at this F fight thats ensued.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

Pretty sure he works for rugbypass now

SPIRO ZAVOS: Eddie Jones' coaching flaw is his belief that rugby is the same game as league

“It genuinely takes five or six years,” he told journalists, “to build a World Cup-winning team.”

If thats the case then we were 3 years into this already. Now we have had a full reset of this and gone backwards at an incredible rate.
