Congratulations, on the most ill informed comment.
The Rebels aren’t being screwed because of the Tah’s, they’re being screwed because RA is incompetent.
Just like with the Force.

Rugby Australia meets with Rebels players to discuss options if Super Rugby franchise is culled

Or the team with no market, few local players and hardly any grass roots rugby.

Just the Waratahs?

I feel sorry for DC.
I am a Tah’s fan and it has been a few hard years but not all of that is the fault of the coach.
Early in the season the Tah’s were competitive, just too many close losses.
It does seem that the Administrators at NSW and RA seem to keep their jobs despite obvious incompetence.
There are enough good young guys around for the future to be bright but we don’t even know how many super rugby teams we have next year.
The failure to set up a coaching pathway also lies with rubbish administrators.

Tahs confirm Darren Coleman departure, search already underway for new coach

Rugby in Aus is being smashed by incompetent administrators.
So no one wants to stay at the Waratahs or the Rebels because of hopeless administration.
The answer to any difficult questions is a review.
They’re all going broke and no one is capable of making a decision.

COMMENT: Bizarre selection call that sums up chaos and disconnect at Super Rugby's biggest basket case

BOK is a horrible referee.
He should not referee Super rugby let alone international matches.
To date we still don’t know what if any sanction he got for the “low five” of the Fijian player in RWC 2019.
Despite the blow up from NZ over other performances he keeps getting appointed.
In the Simpsons the expression “pulled a Homer” was used “to succeed despite stupidity”, how about “pulled a BOK” for “to get promoted despite incompetence”.

Brumbies beat Waratahs in monsoonal conditions as injury toll goes from bad to worse

It seems we have difficulty funding 5 teams.
The ACT is not a market. It is where our tax dollars fund an ever expanding bureaucracy of overpaid mediocre plodders and other hangers on.
But that’s just my view.
If cuts need to be made, it’s the first on the block!

'Toughest decision': Wallaby's blunt admission over form as Force land Brumbies lock, teammate brought to tears

Rugby in Aus needs a strong team in WA.

'Toughest decision': Wallaby's blunt admission over form as Force land Brumbies lock, teammate brought to tears

The points you raise have been in existence for a long time but at time we have actually been better at rugby than NZ.
At time we have beaten NZ, in RWC and in Bledisloe.
Given the fundamental structural advantages of NZ, to beat them we really do have to be better at rugby than NZ.
We can only do this when we have consecutive years of good administration.
Rugby administration in Aus is just so poor and has been for years.
Fix the administration and we can again be better at rugby than NZ.

The insurmountable problem facing Australian rugby in a doomed rivalry with New Zealand

The worry is that RA just seem to have no plan for Super Rugby and no plan for retaining and developing the next generation.
Gordon has potential and it would be good to see a Wallaby 10 who can defend in the line.

Wallabies' young gun mulling NRL switch as Rebels' future continues to cloud picture

If he was wearing a Wallaby jersey in a RWC it probably would be a red card.

The inconsistent application of the rules is killing rugby.

Great to see Donaldson do well.
Really good to see KB back. He has had a very hard few years and deserved better treatment.

Five things: What Beale has over other golden oldies, double pain for Brumbies as Blues expose Australia's biggest weakness

Yes but with no real player base (except NSW and QLD) and no real supporter base/market, they may as well be in Melb.

One big step closer to the move to Melbourne.

Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check

I am reluctant to overestimate the importance of this result but I do think it leaves no doubt that this is one of the best provincial rugby teams in the world.
If not the best.
Perhaps in many years.
Not sure who the last team to beat the Crusaders twice in a season was or who the last team from Aust to so was but this is truly historic.
I think we should call the comp over now and declare the Tah’s champions for 2024.

'Last few years have been hell': Iceman 2.0 Harrison gets 'dream come true' in Tahs' stunning golden point win

Great to see the Rebels get the W.
It is just such a shame that the administration of Rugby in Aus has been so poor for so long.

'Kid wonder': Lancaster, Gordon shine as Rebels take one giant step in locking in maiden Super Rugby finals berth

An earlier article highlighted the problem with appointing a coach that has not been in charge of a truly professional team. That was the criticism of Coleman.
Yet it seem to be exactly what they are again considering.
I think Coleman has done Ok, it has been a hard few years for Rugby in Aus and there would be good reasons to give him 2 more years.

Rugby Australia kicks off review into Waratahs as pressure mounts on Coleman ahead of Brumbies clash

The last thing we want is someone who has proved themselves to be successful!
Wouldn’t that be stupid.

Rugby Australia kicks off review into Waratahs as pressure mounts on Coleman ahead of Brumbies clash

The review will say …
Mistakes were made ….
money was wasted ….
No one who works here now was to blame …
Should do better next time.

I would love to see us keep a Melbourne team.
I am a little concerned about the potential ground.
How do you Brumbies fans now feel about a move to Melbourne’s west?

The Tah’s are having a hard year.
They just seem to lack composure at important times.
That game was not helped by a number of interesting call from the Ref.

I think Coleman has done ok. The Tah’s are developing and remaining competitive.
Rugby in Aus needs to come to terms with we’re they are at financially.

the lack of engagement and communication disconnect between those responsible for running the competition, and rugby’s fanbase has never been wider

This was really a pretty good week for Super Rugby in Aus. The Rebels got the W and the Force were unlucky not to. RA has never had much love for these sides but maintains them is important to the real growth in strength of Rugby in Aus.

The Tah’s were disappointing but us loyal followers are used to that.

RA has spent the last 10 years looking to impress polite society with how virtuous they are. This has seen no attempt to attract young rugby players and their family and friends to rugby beyond the Sydney private school competitions.

Suddenly they are surprised the money is not rolling in.

The Wrap: The two massive power shifts shaping Australian and New Zealand rugby

I knew the Tah’s were in trouble with about 20 to go when on the Stan commentary Harrison said he thought the Tah’s would win. His commentary is just so hard to listen to.
I do really struggle with the use of the box kick by so many Australian sides. As a spectator it mostly looks like the team has run out of ideas.
Missing points and silly errors cost the Tah’s.
