Even luckier they have a very promising Australian coach who wants them to have fun as opposed to ……that what shall remain unnamed.
Nawaqa has huge potential. So does Danganu but they both need great Aussie coaches to bring out the best in them.

The rookie move that perfectly sums up surprising rise of Wallaby tourist

How can that be when we have an apparently super duper fantastic kiwi coach in Thorn ?

In his second game starting at 7 ….

Coaches. Look at how dramatically the Wallabies improved after only 16 months after taking over an utter shambles of a Wallaby team from the mess left by Deans.

Even with Tah players trying to undermine him, he got us to within 3 points of winning back the Bledisloe Cup. We missed primarily due to Foley missing a regulation front on tackle on Fekitoa in front of the posts, not surprisingly.

It was no wonder the kiwis were out to get McKenzie as well. They were terrified of him.

Ironically tho by desperately seeking to get their discard coaches installed in Australia, the All Blacks no longer have any innovative smart Australian coaches to come up against to test them and improve. They have only had their ex duds. Hence they are now only the 5th best team in the world. Poetic really.

He’s a kiwi not South African

'Chop the Rebels'? The simplistic reaction that would do nothing to help solve Australian rugby's problems

All the Rebels need is some decent, exciting, out to have fun Australian coaches.

They have been hamstrung by hopeless, boring, uninspiring South African coaches. Why would any Australian supporter turn up to watch them other than masochism ?

All South Africans know is crash bash, crash bash, crash bash and they are very good at it. It suits them but it doesn’t wash in Australia. Never will. It’s like Herman Munster trying to coach Steve Irwin.

The Western Force will struggle with Mike Cron too, just as the iron price and Twiggys share price is crashing. He will give Hamish Stewart 3 to 5 games at 10 like Brad Thorn did then dump him before he gets a chance to develop. Gauranteed.

Dempsey could have been a great player for Australia but he seemed to lose focus. Probably due to being badly coached.
He’ll most likely now play out of his bloody skin.

Finn Russell is a joy to watch, a bit like Quade.

I don’t mean from Rennie.

ANALYSIS: Dave Rennie is in the last-chance saloon - but a firing Will Skelton might help him get out alive

Liam Gill would have been close to being as good as Pocock. So would have Sean McMahon. Both streets ahead of Hooper in ability and potential.

We will have to agree to disagree. It’s the number one issue at the moment in my opinion because it is killing the Wallabies, our primary money earner.

He attacks rucks instead of watching or backing away from them, slowing the opposition ball down.
And of course Hooper covers more ground running back and forth from the wing

Why are you so in favour of Rennie then ?

Cheika was the same. Trying to make up for lack of coaching nous by running the players in to the ground trying to make them ultra fit to compensate, or out of frustration at so much losing.

No, Lock.

I wonder how Ewen McKenzie feels ?

They have but they have been beholden to the Tahs

You do if you are a Tah

Lack of confidence in what you are doing contributes to creating or causing injuries.

Frost is the only one persisting with. Huge upside.

I don’t actually mind kiwis per se. I have some good friends there . I’ve played rugby in Christchurch. Against Billy Bush once.
It’s obnoxious kiwis constantly putting Australia down I can’t stand, especially if they live in Australia.
Oh and hopeless kiwi discard coaches dragging Australian rugby down. Either consciously or subconsciously. The kiwi rugby style is obviously a very poor fit for Australians. It’s like the Joker trying to coach Steve Irwin.

Of course I have a gripe with Rennie. He has dragged us down to 9th. He’s hopeless, as I predicted when he was hired. But I don’t disagree entirely about McKellar. Even tho he is a Queenslander he is giving the Brumbies extraordinary favoritism. It’s like he is so limited he simply can’t coach anybody outside his inner circle, which is very worrying.
It’s the same for Fisher.
The Brumbies have a disturbing habit that when they start losing, they start cheating incessantly, like kiwis. It is un Australian.

If they really wanted to play for Rennie they would turn up. They would turn up for Ewen McKenzie

Cooper has one of the highest winning percentages of any Wallaby.

The three primary coaches in Australia over the last few years have been Gibson at the Tahs, Thorn at the Reds and now Rennie. There’s a common denominator there just leaping out at you.
