Of course having 8 first graders out and two players on the edges with 5 nrl games (Folau, Fairimo) doesn’t help.
I’ll wait till the end of the season to judge.
I’ll just add if you look at our loses, against the Bulldogs we had four plays leave the field injured, with Radradra unable to come back on.
Against Warriors we had 3 players concussed.
Against Tigers, through necessity we started with a 2nd rower at centre, and our other centre went off concussed forcing another 2nd rower to play centre on the other side.

I’ll expect a big turn around as Takaraingi, Radradra, and Moeroa make their way back from injury and Junior Paulo back from suspension.

What's the matter, Parramatta?

#conspiracy. Bloody ridiculous considering Scott has form.

Early guilty plea will see Scott avoid ban for hit on Thurston

Guess I can agree with that EJ.
But that is the nature of divided boards, being a parrafan I should know.
Who shapes up as the next half, certainly Lyon can’t fill in there for an extended period?

Manly's thumping shows the ride is over

7 from 8 off the boot, most from the sideline. Created a try at the back of the game as well. Good hit out, but defensively him and champion still need a bit of work.

Not to rub salt into the wound EJ, but are you a bit filthy that so many of those experienced players have been moved on, i,e Kite, Watmough on the hope of retaining your two halves, and now one has gone on big money, and uncertainty hangs over the other?

I have to say, sure DCE has to do what is best for his family, but the signing saga and the timing of last nights announcement really left a sour taste in my mouth.

I think you’ll find it was Ballin who gave the face massage. I think your summation was correct for the second half. I’m inclined to side with Brad Arthur. It was pretty frustrating in the first half. Continual dropped ball really let us down. But very positive to see the ease in scoring points. I’m not sure if that was Parra being good, or Manly being poor. It was a no brainer to attack Manly’s left side once Gutherson went off and it paid handsomely.

Agree with you on Moeroa Barry. He hits like a locomotive.

How good is it to have the footy back. Nothing better than a packed house at Parra Stadium and being in the thick of it.

Radradra and Sandow electric as Eels pummel Sea Eagles

Well doesn’t that rub salt in the wounds. DCE announcing after a flogging, and his halves partner has a suspected torn hammy. Great morale booster.

and the week after against Warriors in NZ and the week after against Souths at home. Probably one of the toughest draws at least for the first couple of rounds

My apologies. It should be noted that at family gatherings I’m often get my daughters name mixed up with her cousins.

Souths' penalty reeks of inconsistency

Fazed I think you’re thinking of Jamie Buhrer who played in Parramatta’s junior system. Granted Manly signed him when he was playing what was then the Toyota cup. David Williams played in the Parra junior system as well.

Again I’m not complaining. All teams poach, and it can be a good thing. When Parra poached De Gois last year he was playing reserve grade for Sharks and then played the rest of the season in first grade. Same with Peats, he wasn’t going to get game time ahead of Isacc Luke. Only acknowledging that one shouldn’t complain when they’ve been caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

The tables have turned - the Eels are now raiding the Eagles
