Its hilarious how old men keep trying to tell young people that T20 is no good, and blocking and letting balls go for 5 days is more exciting

Cricket's long-standing battle between bat and ball: Is the IPL money-driven 'show' ruining the contest of the game?

Got a try hard to say “northball” though

Footy Fix: They're still a work in progress - but 'Northball' will make electric Roos the AFL's most exciting team

“Northball”?
That’s trying way to hard to fit in

Surely cricket administrators can’t force someone to retire?
That sort of thing would need to be decided by a court of law.

Pucovski retires hurt in distressing scenes after another Sheffield Shield head knock

It’s starting to seem like virtually every article is in some way about selection.

Why Starc should be first to make way if selectors opt to regenerate ageing Test team’s legendary bowling attack

Lots of laughs and wow.

Neser selection doesn’t matter much now to Test team but it slows down fast bowler development for the future

The A League needs to lose a large majority of its current fan base, and attract a new set of fans.
No easy task.
The APL listening to what the current fans think is a very poor idea.

The APL is doomed to fail until it starts focusing on football

There’s to many articles about selection and or batting orders full stop.

Travis should Head up the order until Green proves he’s four-midable enough to earn important spot

I really hope Goodman doesn’t go for a belt in 2024.
All the belts in his division are held by The Monster, he’d destroy Goodman.
Goodman would be wise to wait for The Monster to go up to Feathrweight.

From Tim Tszyu's belts, Liam Wilson's controversy and Sam Goodman's rise up the ranks: An Aussie boxing review for 2023

Old people living in the past is what’s killing Test Cricket.
Why would young people follow a format where the old people constantly say back in their day.

West Indies playing for their future as a legitimate Test nation with memory fading of long lost Calypso glory days

Lol…Starc has over 300 Test wickets.

Picking apart the selectors’ choices in the Bailey era: Masterstrokes tarnished by blunders as Australia face future upheaval

This is just a I love to complain article.
The selectors have simply picked the best 11 players.

Whinging is getting so bad now that people are jumping from one side of the fence to the other so they can cry.
First the Pakistan tour was going to be boring, it wasn’t, so now we need tears because it wasn’t longer.

COMMENT: Whitewash or not, was Pakistan’s entertaining fight worthy of more than three Tests?

Just another old man that can’t accept T20 is a better and more attractive format.

‘Is this a defining moment in the death of Test cricket’: Steve's right to be on Waughpath over pathetic Proteas squad

Simplistic compared to ignorance.
40k in Adelaide, 49k in Perth. The better game is growing, the lesser game is hanging via old man tradition.
Sth Africa have read the room, as have the West Indian players.

'Seminal moment for Test cricket': Alarm bells as South Africa names seven new faces in second-rate NZ tour squad

Hi 13th man, “most of my mates “ pretty much sums it up.
T20 is the family game, the modern game.
Test cricket is for the generation who said “he’s under the thumb”.
I go watch Shield games, no one is coming with me though.

'Seminal moment for Test cricket': Alarm bells as South Africa names seven new faces in second-rate NZ tour squad

Most young people, woman, and families are moving towards T20.
Old men need to deal with it.

You should talk about selection between Tests, and during a match talk about proceedings.

Worth keeping around: No way Carey’s spot should be in jeopardy despite recent lack of runs

BBL hasn’t fallen of a cliff lmfao.

A-League Christmas wish list: Common sense, Socceroos success and packed grounds

When the borish current fans leave, the game can grow, with the new fans and families able to attend safely.

First Class cruet is the class room, Test Cticket is the real deal.
We are so long on a different page.

Australia’s quartet of quality will soon be most prolific in Test history - but never the greatest

The continued growth of T20 is great for families and those that attend cricket.
It’s only bad for old men following Test scores via the newspaper.

Saudi sportswashing plus a second IPL season adds up to bad news for cricket as we know it

Hi Opeo…spot on. People are confusing CA fast tracking Morris’s development into thinking he’s somehow ready to go.
The longer he spends around the Australian set up the better. There’s no to long.

Australia’s quartet of quality will soon be most prolific in Test history - but never the greatest

Hi Johnno, he’s doing a bit more than watching a Test match, he’s learning, and learning a lot more than he would be playing domestic cricket.

Australia’s quartet of quality will soon be most prolific in Test history - but never the greatest

A couple of things about some of the Australian bowler’s mentioned.

Pattinson wouldn’t have played more Test cricket, he was always injured.

Neser hasn’t missed out, he’s a good Shield bowler who has looked just that in the few Tests he has played.

Morris isn’t being held back. He’s being given some time in the squad on potential, which is great, but he hasn’t done much at Shield level yet to warrant Test selection at this point.
