Has there been any talk on the knee to the head of Leota just on half time.
Leota is tackled and on the ground when an English player running past knees him in the head, it looks like Leota is stunned or temporarily unconscious and fails to lay the ball back.
Could have been accidental????? But does that matter, it doesn’t in a tackle.

I just went and watched it again Paulo, it is definitely a knee, and far more dangerous than the soft headbutt.
I don’t think it is accidental, and even if it was, does that matter, it doesn’t in a tackle.

Has there been any mention of the savage knew to the head of Rob Leota just on half time?
Leota is tackled and on the ground and the English player running past knees him in the head, that is the reason Leota doesn’t lay the ball back as he is stunned by the blow.

I reckon MK should get man of the match again, his send off lifted the Wallabies to one of the gutsiest wins in decades.

The only way to lower tackles is to stop players passing from the ground. A sad truth, but necessary . As soon as a knee or arm touches the ground the player must release, but not pass upwards. This is the only way you will stop players going high to kill the ball.

How the bench warmed Australian hearts in Brisbane

I don’t understand why Owens is rated as an international Ref. He was woeful last night, as an Aussie with NZ conections I was going for the ABS , but by half time I was supporting the Boks as I felt they were playing 16 men.
I used to think he was just biased against Australia, but after last night I reckon he is a home town ref who is influenced by the crowd.
I watched it with NZ commentators and even they several times thought that SA was hard done by.
Great game though by the Bok halfback, what a dynamo.
