The 2 incidents are virtually the same. I complained at the time that 2 metre Peter should not have been suspended and by doing so the AFL were penalising players for completely accidental contact. I don’t like Toby, but based on this precedent he should get 3-4 weeks even though as far as I’m concerned contact was accidental and he should have no case to answer.

Regardless, its pretty clear now that the Tiger’s are the more depleted Team. I’m not going to use it as an excuse should we lose, I’m really not concerned about results this year, just how much game time we get into the kids and to see how they develop.
At least you and I have confidence that when our Teams do rise they generally win Premierships….maybe a Richmond v WCE Final in the not too distant future.

I couldn’t care less about results this year. I have a recent dynasty which will sustain me well and truly until the next period of success. As far as I’m concerned it’s only about getting game time into the kids.

Sorry, I didn’t realise that the Ryan you referred to was Liam. I thought he had already retired. If you say he’s in the Eagles best 22, I’ll take your word for it but he seriously wouldn’t get a game in Richmond’s reserves best 22.
Regarding whether we win or lose, I really don’t care. I’m just glad the talented Richmond kids are getting a game. I think pressure really is on the Eagles now….I think most actually expect that they should win against such a depleted Richmond side. It’ll be crushing for the Eagles if they lose this one!

I would hope you would have the honesty to agree that Richmond’s 8 best 22 missing is quite a bit more damaging than The Eagles. But regardless I’m actually pleased in a way.
